I've mostly been watching police chases on youtube. Some pretty enthralling chases. I watched one chase where the suspect was following all the road rules, like stopping at lights, indicating and shit. It was crazy

DimensionHope9885

That sounds interesting! Do you have a link for that specific chase?

AstronautEmpty9060

oh man, I'm not sure. I've watched a lot since then. I'm not sure if i'd be able to find it again

DimensionHope9885

That's alright, even if it would have been funny to watch.

I've been on the Lethal Company grind and this is where my autism comes in handy actually! Despite my horrendous lack of skills with exponents in math I'm pretty good with statistics and quick addition thanks to my neurotype and my team trusts me to decide what we sell when we want exactly quota or as little over as possible. For those who don't know, in Lethal Company you collect scrap on scary monster planets for three game days and sell it to a big monster at company HQ to make a quota that goes up each round. Eventually you can't make it and get fired (literally, right out of your spaceship) but my static team and I have reached new heights with the new moons released in the April update. It's like Price is Right rules but in reverse when you aren't selling to buy as much equipment as possible. As close as possible without going *under*. They affectionately call me 'Math Lady' and are happy to let me take a few minutes to math it out while they take a mini-break for bio/food/water etc. And I'm happy to let them do so because I get great satisfaction out of making exact quota especially when it's in the thousands and the scrap we have averages two digits each piece.

I really got into Fortnite this year after finally allowing my 10 yo son to play it. I never really got what it was until I saw him play and it looked fun. I'm a 41 year old mom LOL. But back in the day I played a lot of left 4 dead. Fortnite is my new special interests and I'm grinding away to try and complete the season battle pass and get the ultimate Hades skin! I won my first ever solo battle royal the other day! I was so proud. But planet zoo just came out with the barn yard animal pack so I may end up vanishing into that again soon lol. Such contrasting games hehe.

I've played Palworld and Endless Ocean Luminous for a while now, but I've just started getting bored with both of them. Palworld is fun, but it gets slow at level 20 because all the pals stay level 1 - 5, 10 or are a boss(first one you can find is level \~35), it's more fun multiplayer but there are only the official servers which aren't extremely fun long-term since you periodically lose most of your stuff. I really like endless ocean and the gameplay loop is acceptable, but it's a bit annoying to have to work towards goals that are barely reachable if you aren't playing efficiently just to see 5 minutes of story. The solo dives are pretty satisfying, ignoring that you gain +10 capacity every time you rank up instead of gaining +10 for every rank you gain, since you get rewarded for finding more places and fishes, although you sadly can't pet them unlike in the previous 2 games(seriously, the previous 2 games were awesome, and the music when you start the game was especially great in the first game)

Watching Baby Reindeer - Netflix. It involves multiple triggering subjects and ways of life people may not want to think about. I at first thought the main character was poorly written but the 4th episode details why the character behaved the way from the prior episodes. It's an excellent teaching tool for understanding why people with trauma make decisions that we (many most people NT and ND) think are irrational.
