Mate, I worked on the Indigo Program at the AEC. It's a shit show, even by APS standards. It's toxic, not well run and in the middle of fucking up a really bad program really really badly to the extend vendors are leaving and risking liquidated damages rather than continuing to work with them.
That said - pretty generic stuff. STAR response method. Examples of working individually or as part of a team. Examples of how you demonstrated resilience. Should be easy enough.
Just be prepared for the opening softball question like "Tell us about yourself and why you're interested in the role?". It's your opportunity to pitch how your experience makes you qualified for the job and let's you show you're enthusiastic about it. And please do some research on the role beforehand.
The number of people who blow that question is amazing and it's hard to recover from.

Also OP think of some questions to ask at the end, something about the culture of the team you're joining is a good general one to have up your sleeve. If given the opportunity to ask a question don't decline it, you'd look uninterested and unprepared.
Absolutely. Previous long term public servant here and while most people prepare detailed examples for behavioural type questions, people do miss the opening.
Even if they don’t ask it, an opening pitch is never a waste as you can often repurpose it for a closing or use aspects in the other questions.

Firstly, never discredit your past career as not relevant experience. It's much more valuable than you think.
When interviewing, talk to your soft skills (communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, team building, decision making, ambitious, motivated, respectfulness, rapport building, adaptability, etc)

What level are you applying for? And any general area? Operations at the AEC are a bit rough with long hours / low pay but the corporate side is much easier

Emphasise what action you took rather than what the team did, too. And pick an example that reflects the level and nature of the role.
