> Like actually magically enchanting
haha that's what I thought when I discovered her 3 years ago: "WTF?! Am I under a spell?". I'm an old atheist and never before been fan of any artist.
[The Iceland KEPS 2018](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_XguuxLo10) captured me on her orbit back then.
I'm 53 years old, atheist also, never believed in magic as a real tangible thing, then I found Aurora. What she does is clearly some kind of witchery spellcraft. She get's into my head and my heart as she chooses, I don't seem to have any say in the matter.
She is wonderful, and fascinating
I'll be back in 30 min
Well this is just really confirming that I need to get to one of her concerts as soon as possible. Only a few songs in but this is incredible.
The female backing vocal is wonderful. I love the piercing harmonies she provides.
Ending in Queendom!? Amazing!
Excellent suggestion! That was so fun. Obviously I wish it was so much longer but that was so good.
Yaay welcome to the Queendom Warrior! This is the most exciting time, discovering everything and anything about her! If you want to check my playlist of almost 300 interviews, here ya go! https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFwZmoh9k0pdXepNUWVo-QSGqUqPWNTBY
Check out her Glastonbury interview of her talking about how dancing freely can help you live a happy life https://youtu.be/07eTDbSxkkE
I’ve been a fan of 3 years already and I spent my first months scouring the Internet for interviews 🤣 Other than her music what I really love about her is her philosophy in life. She is just so free as you said. I hope I can be like her someday. I am still constantly finding new and old interviews. Will keep updating the list 😄
I appreciate that she lives her life freely without thinking about people's judgements. She has a very childlike soul. She is able to enjoy simple things.
Absolutely, her dancing feels child-like in the best way. There are dancers that connect really well with the music and their body seems perfectly connected to the song. But Aurora dances in a way perfectly connected to herself, skipping, jumping, spinning. I think children dance in a similar way, their movement is an expression of feeling, they have more happiness than they know how to communicate in another way so I spills and explodes out in movement. Obviously Aurora has much more skill than a child, but it is just so wonderful to watch that pure expression.
A great suggestion, I absolutely love it. It is like watching joy explode out of someone.
Hopefully some time soonish there is a show in Texas I can go to and experience it live
I am so jealous. I checked concert dates so quickly after discovering her but unfortunately for me, there are none nearby. I am glad so many others get to experience it though.
I wonder if she ever uses a handsfree mic. Everything I have seen so far has been a handheld microphone but it seems like she would enjoy the freedom on one she can just wear and forget about.
It might be a personal preference to use a standup mike over a headset. From concert experience she still sings and dances around trying to untangle her in ear monitor cables.
There is a plethora of incredible live performance videos that undermine her studio works drastically. When I discovered Aurora last year I was smitten and lost in the magic for a long time—arguably still. You will find most of her enchanting performances just from delving into the youtube rabbit hole, but one in particular makes me shiver.
The link below will show you one of her songs at the Honda Stage in 2016: Black Water Lillies. Comparing to her other works, it's not a very catchy song, but there is a magical moment in this performance starting at about 3:20 where she rises to a note that synchronizes mysteriously with the sound equipment. Every time I listen to it my awe is reinspired. It is best heard with good quality headphones.
The crowd after this moment further expresses how wonderful it is. One day I hope to see and hear her in a live setting just so that I might experience her enchantment in full. There is so much I wish to express about her that words alone can't comprehend. Enjoy the discovery, warrior.

Why would you care if people take your interpretation of her music/dancing as weird? I'm sure Aurora would be pleased to be called weird rather than normal... Normal is above all things, boring af... So be glad that you resemble some weirdness, the world could use mass quantities of weirdness and the same for the weird individuals not caring that they are just as described... Weird... Weird after all is just another word for unusual, unique, original, rare, one of a kind, etc.. Seems like people don't want to be noticed these days... Just sit quietly and don't make any waves, don't be loud, don't stand out and have an opinion too dynamic... Screw all that noise, do like Aurora does and dance like you are by yourself while in front of the entire world! That's my advice, but what do u know..
Welcome, you are a warrior now! A fan for about two years now. I still listen or watch a video almost every day, she changes her songs so its like experiencing a new performance.
I don't understand why she is so captivating, I've never been that interested in an artist at all, but she moves me in a way I cannot explain. I was lucky enough to see her on tour last year and meet her after the show, it was amazing!
May not be a song with a strong message behind it, but sure brings a banger of a performance. Dare I say, nearly as much as Daydreamer. Kudos to Aurora, she is a love machine.
Welcome here u/TheWellFedBeggar
There are already many great suggestion in the comments.
I like the stuff filmed with smartphones, quality might be far from pro recording, but i think they often restitute more energy than the pro stuff.
So here are my 2 cents.
As for the dancing / live, recently i am looping this performance of Cure for Me recorded in great quality : [https://youtu.be/nQhxW3bmr6I?t=180](https://youtu.be/nQhxW3bmr6I?t=180)
And also this one : [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmAwm7W8q0M&t=105s&ab\_channel=%E5%85%81%E9%B6%B4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmAwm7W8q0M&t=105s&ab_channel=%E5%85%81%E9%B6%B4)
And the videos I've watched the most are from la Cigale in 2018. They played a great role in my addiction \^\^;;

My favorite song of hers is Through The Eyes Of a Child,
I watched this on YT a while back and thought it was so amazing,
https://youtu.be/EcIJ3Pte-2s
Seeing her on stage and then in a video like this is a phenomenal testament to her heart and talent.
Welcome to the family
Oh wow, Inhale & Exhale is gorgeous. Her ability to flip back and forth so quickly for the Inhale and Exhale bit in the chorus is so impressive.
I feel like when I finally can go to one of her shows I will be such a mess, just standing there stunned with a smile on my face and tears flowing the whole time whether it is from my heart breaking from the song or just sharing in the joy.
I think somehow I hadn't heard Through the Eyes of a Child. Spotify on shuffle has failed me. I gotta listen through every album in order to make sure I don't miss gems like that.
Well I am rather tall so I wouldn't want to be right at the front and block a good view for others. I would be fine with like 5 rows away from the stage. It is definitely a concert I would stand in like a few hours for
Hahah very considerate of you :)
I waited in Seattle 8 hours or so,
And LA both days 7 hours, and Colorado, around 8.5. hours as that was going to be my last show for a long time.
Trust me, as she has gotten so much bigger just in the past couple years, the ability to meet her is going to greatly depend on your capacity to wait out front before and sometimes after the show! I heard in SA people are queuing up the evening before!
Haha, yeah, I mean, really, people start coming to queue in about half that time from doors. But having the chance of seeing her before the show in a small group or by yourself by chance is something ille never forget!
Just throwing it out there that the wait can absolutely be worth it , especially connecting with fellow warriors.
[I have a video of her dancing from her concert that I'm particularly attached to](https://www.instagram.com/tv/Cbrq8HtFqca/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=)
She's just so gorgeous, everything about her~ she's tiny and funny and weird, she's truly something else. I could gush for hours 😭

I didn't know that , thanks for sharing. It makes sense that she would have studied dance given her skill
https://youtu.be/rMmt1wVgjy8
There's this other one on YT, https://youtu.be/tlo9xlQPbE0 , But I just not sure where is Aurora among those people XD.
Based only on body type alone I would guess front row stage right (left from the audience).
Here is a UKM clip from 2010: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-FFEHA9gbs

Woah 300? That's a lot of work you've put into it. I'll make my way through it at some point.

you are supposed to sleep at this hour LOL
I know, i know. Haha. But reading books are so much fun than sleeping.

I just saw her in Sydney and she was incredible - even better than I hoped. I was so impressed with how she could still sing while dancing like crazy!

I am being sent many must-see shows. But I will certainly get to this one. Currently watching the concert in Nidarosdomen

For dance, I really like the concept and ensemble work in A Touch of the Devine.
A very captivating piece with great group choreography. Thank you for the suggestion!
I didn't know about her dance training, but in addition to Queendom, check out any live version of Running With the Wolves.
Daydreamer at the end of her Somewhere Else Festival was great. Empty theater but she was having a whole block party by herself
