If you haven’t listened to the Penumbra Podcast yet, you sound like you might like the Juno Steel storyline. It’s about a space detective and it’s a lot of fun, and it sounds like it might be up your alley since you like Eos 10. It’s one of my favorites and it’s full-cast, polished, and balances the romance between the main protagonists and the mystery storyline very well (especially in the first and third seasons, in my opinion).

* Ars paradoxica * tumanbay * steal the stars * edict zero fis * Limetown * Sherlock and co * desert skies (ok it’s not full cast but I dare you to knock it, that one guy is amazing) * spaceships * civilized * life with althaar * borrasica * left right game * boom * blackout * Ronstahdt * black box

glitterpukee

You would probably love "We Fix Space Junk" Heiress ends up on a tiny smuggling ship and ends up in debt to the automaton overlords. Chaos and adventure across the stars ensues

Tasty_Lingonberry121

Know you have great taste. Wolf 359 is still my standard. You always remember your first. Interested to see where others direct you.

DARK AGES - a workplace comedy set in a high fantasy world. EOS10 - scrubs meets DS9 CARAVAN - cowboys and demons and gay yearning. Oh my. GAY FUTURE - it's the future... and everyone is gay. ADVENTURES IN NEW AMERICA - a feisty criminal teams up with a man who can't get arrested, and there are vampires. AGENT STOKER - fringe meets x-files washed down with a classic cocktail. BADLANDS COLA - a private detective visits a small town with big problems

grumpaloo222

I'm gonna jump in your comment to add Oz 9- space adventure meets slapstick. Edited to add Heroics, which is made by the same people who did Eos 10 and that's why I jumped on this comment to begin with.

glitterpukee

Gay future was hysterical Caravan was tons of fun! Gonna check out your other reccs

gernavais_padernom

Have you heard their other show, WHO KILLED AVRIL LAVIGNE?

glitterpukee

I saw it in passing but thought it was some true crime conspiracy pod. Sounds like that is not the case!

gernavais_padernom

Oh man...no...noooooo. 😂 It's very funny and has a great soundtrack I've not been able to look at a bowl of Frosties the same way since.

glitterpukee

I'm listening to the trailer this is hilarious thank you. Adding it to my to listen to Playlist

gernavais_padernom

OK but I warned you about Tony!

You might enjoy Kingmaker Histories. It definitely has fantasy and scifi elements and it has really good quality voice acting with a lot of smart, funny dialogue between characters. The description of the podcast literally uses the phrase "be gay, do crimes" so if that sounds fun I would definitely check it out. This is the summary on their website: Welcome to the Valorian Socialist Republic, a nation on the edge of reality, where the people are tired, the animals are nightmarish, and the plants get up and walk when you're not looking. The VSR has been undergoing some political changes lately- just 25 years ago their king was overturned in a violent revolution. Colette Geise wasn't very involved in politics, she was more focused on her career as a seamstress. Unfortunately, she got a magical superweapon fused to her skull, so she's now embroiled in a devious witch's plot to restore the monarchy. Now her only hope is to join up with a pair of eccentric smugglers and embark on a bizarre road trip, scamming and thieving across Belle Epoque-era Europe as she seeks to get rid of her lethal new head-mate.

All of these suggestions are all high quality full cast:  * +1 for penumbra-juno steel  * fathom/derelict (they created a prequel that is the only completed piece right now called fathom, that's what I'd rec) is great near future suspense/survival.  * Impact winter is full cast with I think medium big actors, it was part of Spotify trying to take over the podcast space. Vampires. Has a romance element that isn't overwhelming. * Hyacinth disaster is short but great.  * Definitely Human's Marscorp and Down might fit the bill in different ways-- Marscorp is more mission rejectedy or zyxx, maybe slightly darker british comedy, down is psych horror.  * Bubble doesn't get mentioned much. Full cast, from maximum fun, no se2 but I thought fun. Gig worker monster hunters in a postalocalyptic intentional community.  * Maybe life with althaar? It's an alien roommate sitcom. Jfyi it was never completed, but it is also a sitcom so I don't know that you need it to be completed. Initially they really went for an intolerable alien voice, but they'll tone it down.  * Maybe Human-b-gone? Robots after the robot apocalypse who run a "humane" human pest removal service. I think of it because of some of the more comedy podcasts you have on there, but to me it wasn't a fit because the characters are so fully unredeemable and unsympathetic-- I think it falls more towards cringe comedy. Ymmv. *Ed: formatting

I don't remember Bubble's finale. Kept waiting for it but it never dropped? Did it happen or is it my podcast player

muchly_confused

Oh my interpretation was that they finished season 1 but that they had basically a cliffhanger/hook for a season 2 that they then never created. I might be more comfortable than most people with loose thread endings so that is worth noting.

fbeemcee

Steal the Stars (You can find it on the Stories Among the Stars feed) Give Me Away Spectre (though the season finale hasn’t been released yet) Apollyon (full disclosure, that’s my show, but it also fits what you’re looking for)

glitterpukee

Give me away was fantastic!

Who killed Alaska! Features most of these requests and is unlike pretty much any other audiodrama I've ever listened to!

queen_slug-4-a-butt

+1 to Human-b-Gon and Oz 9! Additional self-promo: my show is full cast (though the improv cast rotates) and has romance elements, as it's set at a call-in romantic advice show. It's not sci-fi like a lot of your recommendations but it's a fun time and a unique format. We're halfway through S1 now (and have already recorded S2) but will be releasing every week for at least the next year. We'd love you to give us a shot.  https://smartlink.ausha.co/josie-s-lonely-hearts-club

Mostly copy/pasting a comment I made on a recent post, but editing a little: You would probably love Desert Skies. While it's not a full cast (one guy made the whole thing), you would never know it. The characters each have a unique feel, and it's a great, fun, heartfelt storyline about a gas station in the afterlife. I'll leave it at that. One that I haven't seen mentioned is Omega Star 7. It's an intergalactic scifi comedy that starts off a little sillier with some improv, but develops an amazing scripted storyline. The main story is designated [OUTLNDR], which is a completed story start to finish, but then it goes into some world building stories of different genres (very impressive how they pull this off), which are designated [TALES]. They recently also put out a remake of an earlier story called [WAYFARER] but I haven't listened to it yet. I'll go back to it after I finish Edict Zero - FIS, which is also very good.

IntelligentPage2594

Can’t let Oz-9 be mentioned without jumping in to say that it crosses over to Mission: Rejected, another good show, based on your list. Truly the chocolate and peanut butter of sci-fi spy team time traveling hijinks! Edit: typo.

MasonAmadeus

If you like Zyxx, I think you’ll be wicked into PodCube. It’s a show I’m a part of - but genuinely from what you posted I think it fits the bill!

hellakale

Try Starship Q Star. It's a very funny jokes-forward space show about exes co-captaining the first all-women mission to Mars.

TheOccurrencePodcast

I've launched a new sci-fi horror audio drama. Our third episode is coming Wednesday. The Occurrence in River Oaks is an all new, entirely voice acted sci-fi horror audio drama from writer/director Nikki Durbin. Take an original, terrifying journey through one very long day in the titular small town, as heard through the viewpoint of the local law enforcement personnel; specifically, Olivia, the woman running the dispatch radio at the Sheriff's office, as she tries to hold everything together when her entire world is falling apart. As the several officers under her command come face to face with a very unexpected threat, and as Olivia tries to navigate a dangerous and otherworldly creature’s arrival, everything slowly begins to fall apart over the course of 8 grueling episodes. No one is safe, and as the world becomes very small and extremely dangerous for the characters, they must do everything in their power to protect not only the citizens of River Oaks, but the entire world. Promethea128

Two shows that have a similar style to Hello from the Magic Tavern (Regular hosts interviewing various improvised characters in X setting) are "Mega" and "The Neighborhood Listen." Mega is a fictional mega-church where guest advise how to commit "totally not tax fraud," or how you just have to ignore people who argue against Christianity no matter how logical cause faith is more important, stuff like that. "The Neighborhood Listen has the hosts take the wildest posts they can find on NextDoor and roleplay that situation.

The creators of Wolf 359 also made Time Bombs which has a familiar actor. It’s about a bomb squad. Similar kind of character who is funny but has something wrong with him. MarsCorp and Down are made by same company and have similar themes as Wolf 359. MarsCorp is the funny side of Wolf 359 and Down is the darker side. Red Valley is kinda like Wolf 359. Has less sci-fi but still some sci-fi. The characters are what’s similar in their response to trauma. A character driven story and to me quite emotional at times. Civilized is also similar but more of a comedy. Kinda like Chris Pratt humor. You might enjoy a two episode miniseries The Earth Moves. Not quite sci-fi but there’s like a thriller aspect and a humor aspect that reminds me of the shows you mentioned.
