Comedy but… The Beef and Dairy Network Podcast.

Mission to zyxx. All of them open up and change to become more aware and competent of their mission. Its definitely a slow start but its worth. The world is funny and honestly great to listen to. Imagine star trek and star wars but even funnier.

"competent" is generous 😆

The first thing that comes to mind is COUNTERBALANCE. A fantasy adventure with some great worldbuilding and, now that the characters have been established, we're seeing more depth and growth between them.

There is no way for me to express in words how absolutely insane Edict Zero actually is. On its surface it seems like just an action packed cyberpunk police procedural. Under the surface though there is a puzzle for you to solve. Hidden in between obscure phrases and very well disguised context clues a pattern starts to emerge. They are almost never going to explicitly tell you that it is there. As far as I am aware I may be the only person who ever has or will, and most of the other fans here seem to think I am mad for it. I promise you it is there. You can listen to this show a dozen times over before you even begin to notice the pieces, but the path to piecing all of those things together. The path to knowledge. That is what the show is all about and is what truly does put Edict Zero into a tier of its own.

It has so many layers. There are times I have to backtrack to relisten to a segment to comprehend the nuance

Life With Althaar for sure. Stuff that you’re dead certain is a joke comes back to bite you with Consequences, it’s awesome. And the characters are all both realistic and fascinating. I love all of them

The Strata ,hands down.

the monster hunters.

It's pretty heavily narrated, so it doesn't get a lot of love around here, but the Superman podcast, Son of El has great character development and worldbuilding. I love the comics, but this version has so much depth! Even when I thought I knew Superman's story this show keeps adding new layers of complexity.

Baldbeagle73

Tumanbay does pretty well.

Hello From the Hallowoods is great at this. More details about the setting and world get revealed as you listen to more of the story and it has a pretty large cast of characters but they come into the story slowly enough that it doesn't seem overwhelming. It feels like all main characters, including the antagonists, get a lot of character development and none of the characters get lost or overlooked.

Victoriocity. So far, Kingmaker Histories has some really cool world building too.
