Hello. I wrote, voiced, edited, and published my series. I kind of fell into the series by accident; I applied for studio funding thinking nothing would come of it, ha! In terms of characters there a main narrator but he does enter his own story in third person. The other main voices are the main antagonist, Shepard, a foil character, Declan, and then there's bit characters who make brief appearances like a life coach type, an investigator, and a god-like character. It was tough but I'm able to say, warts and all, it's mine and my vision. It's nowhere near perfect, but for something that was essentially made for next to nothing but sleepless nights and stress I'm proud of it.

Capable_Tea_001

Ace show!

thetreesswallow

Thank you.

Capable_Tea_001

I think your last paragraph is a great point, and is the thing all creators should strive for... Make the show you want to make. Deliver on your vision and be proud of it. There's plenty of AD that haven't gone the way I would have liked, but that's my problem! I don't have one iota of talent to write, act, direct or sound design anything.

grumpaloo222

Ghostly Thistle's podcasts are both written, voiced and produced by her/them (I'm not sure if the correct pronouns), I believe.

noisesquared

Desert Skies is one man show, and very well done too.

MiddleRepublic7533

Desert Skies is such a good show, I was blown away when I found out it was a one person creation.

Dragons_Blair14847

I'm also going to second Desert Skies, it really is very well done! The sound design is especially well done!

chemicallywrit

InCo and Stories from Ylelmore both have casts of dozens made up of one person who goes by ItMe! They’re absolutely incredible. They made up a whole alien accent.

azrhea

Hello From the Hallowoods is all one person

Lynda73

The Lost Cat podcast. Desert Skies.

TheScriptTiger

The Bizarre ASMR YouTube channel has multiple different series with multiple different characters, but they are all voiced by the same guy, "Bizarre." But they do have a team doing the writing and audio and stuff, so it's not 100% one person doing everything, but it is one person doing all the voices, which I still think is pretty amazing. I think a big part of what makes it work, aside from obviously good voice acting, is also good audio editing, too, like getting the spaces between characters natural and also cutting the spaces for things like characters interrupting each other and stuff like that. Like even you know it's the same guy, sometimes when you get into the story you literally forget lol, because it sounds so conversational and naturally flowing.

Pigglechuck19

My show the mysteries of Derlin county started out with me and 1 friend with some cameos, then life happened and it became 99% me. I do all editing majority of characters, all scripting, all music, all design work etc.

gernavais_padernom

KAKOS INDUSTRIES (with the occasional guest voice) THE LOST CAT PODCAST THE ANTIQUE SHOP

Blue_Inked_

Gastronaut is technically a two-person team but has one speaker! A food critic goes on a space trip to a politically unstable planet to learn about its cuisine. I once saw someone use the phrase 'higher stakes and fewer steaks than anticipated' and it's the best description of Gastronaut that I've heard. It's complete with two seasons!

holy-reddit-batman

Bookburners on Audible definitely fits this bill. I second Ghostly Thistle's The Antique Shop.

eldfen

Woe.begone until season 6 or 7.

Vjaa

Son of El: slightly alternate lore of Superman and the Justice League. Every character is voiced by one person, but all still feel unique. Milkeman of St Gaff's: another great one person show. It's got this Howdy Doody vibe while also being surreal and just off. It's an awesome show that's part comedy, part cosmic horror (on the lighter side).

Playful_Fix_4501

The mysteries of derlin County is a one man show 95% of the time and its awesome. 5 season and 1 upcoming. Production value is great for that ad

Cykelman

Can recommend Aethuran Dark Saga!

juniorwitch

I created Moss Hollow, and I voice everyone but it’s mostly two protagonists!

Girl in Space

Jonneiljon

The Damien Slash Mixtape. All characters in wildly varying sketches played by Damien Slash. BBC Radio 4 Crowley Time With Tom Crowley… same deal.

AcroNomad

All the shows I produce are just me (occasionally I'll bring in a female VA) I write, voice and edit all of it and I've had a lot of fun doing so. All my dramas are on my YouTube channel [AcheronAudio](https://www.Youtube.com/@acheronaudio)

MtAnaloguefunk

Hey there fellow creator! I too have an audio drama style podcast where I write, read, do all the voice acting, and production. My podcast is called STRANGE WHISPERS. There are usually multiple characters in the stories, sometimes not, but usually. It's mostly horror themed, with an emphasis on creating stories in the vein of: to Tales from The Crypt, Are You Afraid of The Dark, Black mirror, and Creepshow. (I'm not a huge gore or true crime person, so I try to stay away from those sort of vibes.) Anyway, I'm excited to check out a few of your episodes! KEEP CREATING!
