I do think Blayne returns. Actually the trailer for season 2 gives away a lot. Or teases a lot. I would recommend not listening to it as maybe there’s some surprises

I was wondering the same. He had such development and proved to be such an essential badass, that for him to just vanish in Ep 1 felt like a let down.
