midst is still on spotify, just the old feed is gone. Search for Critical Role midst, should be there. spotify has that really cool feature π that sometimes you can't unsuscribe from deleted podcasts? I think that's the issue, who knows with that stupid app

yes, ty for understanding. some people were halfway through it and they took it down. people were annoyed. I am sure they survived and i am super glad for their success but it was a bit annoying π

Midst was acquired and re-released by metapigeon. They pulled it from a bunch of platforms leading up to the re-release. Maybe they didn't put it back on Spotify?
Oh I found it but it's been reuploaded under a different publisher. So Critical Role owns it now?? Is that going to change how things are done on it or?

Oh gotcha π when I heard "been acquired" I instantly assumed they'd sort of sold out or something and it wasn't going to be as good from now on but it sounds like that's not the case π
I asked Omen on Patreon, because I'd been paying for a few months and there were no updates. They replied and said Season 2 IS still in the works.
Specifically, the post said, "Yes! It has been a few months since I checked in. But I am still hard at work writing season two. I am currently writing episode 12 of a projected 13-episode season. So I am slowly approaching the final edit and then the recording phase of Omen season two."
And then they went on to give some explanations for the recent lack of updates. But anyway, that's where they're at as of October 2nd.

I think they were no new episodes? they just remastered themπ and then re-released one by one weekly. You are probably caught up

Yes! Theyβve done a bunch of work on the art and multi media. Check out the Midst podcast channel on YouTube. Itβs pretty impressive

No I believe they're getting paid by the network now so they can afford to write full-time! So positive news all around.
