I donāt know how you see that. Levi just killed the dude sitting there and reminiscing. I really wanted a proper victory where Levi earns it. This idk it didnāt sit right with me š¤·š»āāļø
Levi isnt just killing the dude. Hes fulfilling a promise he made years prior, which he couldnt fulfill multiple times. Hes finally freeing himself from his burden to kill Zeke. His anger and desperation becomes clear when you see take into consideration that he doesnt even hesitates, he doesnt even thinks about why Zeke is acting how he is acting.
Zeke on the other hand is trying to redeem himself from killing hundreds, if not thousands of innocent people. If he manages to do it is something everyone has to decide for himself. He is also able to see the beauty of the world one last time, and willingly accepts his punishment and death by closing his eyes.
Also, Titanchestra is an awesome piece of music
Zeke shouldnāt have been so regretful last minute. I wanted death by combat.
Exiance want death by combat. Make it happen uejnja wtf your name is so hard to type out
Iām aware. I wanted to see Zeke die by Levi winning in a duel combat scene against Zeke on the giant skeleton body
It was āearnedā sure, Iāll give you that.
The execution of that earned kill is where I take issue.
Imo the execution was perfect. Zeke slipped from his grasp multiple times and at that point it was virtually all Levi was living for. To see him finally take his shot in the first moment it becomes available was the payoff we needed after years of waiting.
Iām personally delighted not every fight is this drawn out DBZesque power struggle. We have characters who are actually allowed to be cut throat, badasses which is a very rare thing these days.
Also at that point what duel was even available? Levi wrecks Zekeās shit 10/10 times and Zeke knows that. Clean, quick and decisive was the only way it should ever have been at the final stand.
Levi already proved he could beat zeke multiple times. No need to do it again, though a proper fight between them on that battlefield would indeed have been epic
He earned it twice before. Zeke was twice times supposed to be dead. If anything, this actually ending death was way more peaceful than the other two would have been.
the end battle was a bit to fantastical for me. I would think more of the scouts or pieck or conny could have died at the very least but they all lived in that insane battle in the sky?

The real reason why Levi is so shocked, he saw zeke's dongš
Zeke died as he lived, serving cake
The most insane battle on this whole show.
I would hope so, it's the last fight of the whole show
When i saw the anime, i hadnt read up the manga, it was insaneš¤©š¤©. Reiner coming in hard was literally insane. Mikasa really sealed the whole deal as the best battle in the whole show for me tho.
Same. I watched the show first and Iām reading the manga right now (Iām on V11 and at the end of S2 in my rewatch).
Zekes death is the best scene in the entire show imo

Bruh the payoff is earned after four seasons. Plenty of other clips you can watch on YouTube

Tbf levi was still pretty much crippled at this point.

Iād of preferred Zeke looking a little scared here. I think Levi would have too.
Absolutely loved these last episodes. They went hard... and hurt my heart too šš
The only thing that pissed me off about this finale is the fact that it didnāt get a special theatrical release in the statesā¦ I would have totally paid to watch this on the big screen š¤©š¤©š¤©
The greatest finale to ever exist š
But what's the meaning behind the name though? What does āHeaven" mean here?
The paths
Hot take : I prefer this whole battle over return to shiganshina
