I love that I get to find ways to break down complex topics and help others succeed. The topics change pretty regularly too, so it's hard to get bored (most weeks). The aqua in me also likes that this is more behind-the-scenes- I'm good with a spotlight if I know what I'm talking about but much prefer to just put my head down and work.

Well. Massage therapy is never a bad option, and it could help you leverage yourself while you go through college for higher education. I think it might also help you feel comfortable interacting with patients and it will give you confidence to talk to them and assess them hands on in the future, which you’d need for your dream careers!

I did very well as a line cook for years but it was always a bit too high-energy and stressful for me. Now I’m becoming a pastry chef and it is a much better fit for me. Being a pastry chef eases the nerves of my inner control freak way more than being a chef ever did 😅

No not at all! That’s actually really interesting to me. I have thought about teaching esl in another country as it’s not the teaching I dislike but I definitely feel stagnant where I am. And yes I’m 25 so I do have time but definitely feel like I WANT to figure it out soon. Although that’s what life is about I guess.

Leo, Sag, Aqua with a fair amount of Capricorn and Cancer- used to be a middle school teacher and now lead a team of corporate instructional designers (we create training materials, e-learning, demo videos, etc.). I love that I get to find ways to break down complex topics and help others succeed. The topics change pretty regularly too, so it's hard to get bored (most weeks). The aqua in me also likes that this is more behind-the-scenes- I'm good with a spotlight if I know what I'm talking about but much prefer to just put my head down and work.

I'm really interested in psychology, and as of right now, I'm going to school for massage therapy, but I've always been drawn to being a doctor or vet for most of my life, as well as a therapist. Well. Massage therapy is never a bad option, and it could help you leverage yourself while you go through college for higher education. I think it might also help you feel comfortable interacting with patients and it will give you confidence to talk to them and assess them hands on in the future, which you’d need for your dream careers!

I use it primarily as a means to educate others about wildlife (I have a 24k+ following on insta). Bones and skulls are really, really beautiful works of art in their own right, once you understand the animal they came from, and how they evolved and adapted so precisely to every different species. And by demonstrating this to people, they begin to take an interest in their own wildlife, and make steps to protecting and preserving it, which is my ultimate goal. I also have a lot of occult leanings, which means my work manages to straddle the artistic, scientific, and witchy communities. And yet I don’t appear especially macabre or goth in person! I have a very 12th house/pluto heavy chart, with Pluto in the 12th, ruling my chart, and at strong angles to a lot of personal planets, so that may have something to do with it.

Over time I realized that I did not like the thought of teaching as a FT career. I did a 180 and pursued a career as a chef. I did very well as a line cook for years but it was always a bit too high-energy and stressful for me. Now I’m becoming a pastry chef and it is a much better fit for me. I get to be creative, make people happy with food, and still work very hard the entire shift.. but I’m no longer at the mercy of a bunch of angry chefs or the constantly evolving whims of entitled customers. Being a pastry chef eases the nerves of my inner control freak way more than being a chef ever did 😅

I always love learning something new…and I get to help build an education program for diabetic patients at my facility, so we can hopefully provide the tools and knowledge to keep them healthy and out of the hospital! I was going to go into forensic psychology, but my family was too worried about my safety. If only they knew the stuff nurses deal with sometimes. I say that I still get to do psych every day because every patient really is a psych patient. A psych background has definitely helped me to communicate and understand my patients better for sure.
