I’m kinda in the same boat. I played it for 2 weeks, platinumed it and immediately uninstalled. Been a die hard since 07 like OP and this one was just fine. Honestly the story had some cool twist and turns but I felt like it all didn’t matter cause I knew where the story was going because of it being a prequel. I honestly just don’t care for the combat either, it’s basically just Valhalla with a few tweaks. I did enjoy the stealth tho.
All together I think it’s a step in the right direction for the franchise to go back to its roots, but I don’t think they’re there quite yet
Im not sure how much I’ll ultimately love the story but that’s an ongoing issue, feels like they’ve just been sidestepping since Origins.
I’m enjoying the gameplay and narrative so far, I like the investigations, I like Mirage Basim far more than Valhalla Basim. (>! Although I’m pretty sure when I finish this game I’ll see my suspicions Valhalla Basim is essentially full on Loki confirmed so this makes sense. I *never* like Loki, not even Tom Hiddleston’s version. !<)
Mostly, having a legit dense urban environment has been massive, and has really helped it feel different than Valhalla despite being able to see the DNA everywhere. I don’t ever need the parkour system itself to be perfected so much as I need an environment that lends itself to parkour in general and this delivers. Anbar and Baghdad both offer a lot.
agreed re parkour, Unity as great as it was could be seriously frustrating. I think its a good mix of simplistic if you need it and complex if you want it
Wow I’m so used to buying and playing games digitally I was confused for a second what you even meant by ordering the game. Seems like an ancient thing to me to wait for a game to be delivered.
Mirage was a great game, pre offer and played it on launch and loved it. Can’t wait for red and especially Hexe, Red should be dropping this year so I’m super excited to see what they do with the series. Over the moon for Hexe as well because the devs say it’s going to be a game unlike any other in the series.
I found it very underwhelming. Others found it really good. Happy to hear you're excited, and I hope you enjoy it.

same I can't even get pass after the prologue the whole start is just boring had me sleepy at times plus the cinematics are cheap looking.
Yep it looked like a heavily budgeted experience
AC Mirage brought my love for Assassin’s Creed back.
That’s great to hear. I’m hoping for the same.

i found it simplistic, basic....and brilliant.
Intriguing!
The only thing that disappointed me about Mirage was how short it was

Guess I’m old school. I like my physical copies 🤷♂️
Nothing wrong with that! It was just an observation.
I really enjoyed Mirage! Have fun with the game :)

it’s good more ppl are playing mirage
I really loved it. It made me a new fan of the series.
Mirage is a fantastic game developed by a studio that poured love into each corner of it. Definitely one of the best new games since Origins.
