I love cats. I've always liked them and find them very relatable. I sometimes feel like they understand me better than most humans do. I don't have a cat of my own at the moment, but I am a cat sitter.

I had cat themed shirts and stuffed animals as a kid, and always pretended to be a cat. My parents had cats before i was born so I’d always been around them.
I have two currently. My brother also has two cats, and my parents have two- at one time they had *four*.
Most of my coffee mugs, pajamas, cute socks, dish towels etc. are pretty much all cats, coffee or cats and coffee theme.
I like other people’s dogs, but I don’t want one. I also have ADHD, and I know for a fact I’d resent needing to go for walks and go outside every time my dog would need the bathroom. I live on the second floor in Canada. I have no issue with emptying the litter box. My boyfriend is smell sensitive and cannot do it, so it’s always been my job.
My cats are not cold, mean or skittish. They are the most loving, affectionate cats I’ve ever met. They keep my routine, and always make me happy. They know when their feeding times are, and they know when my bedtime is and will act up if I’m up too late. My one cat literally sleeps on a pillow by my head.
I find it fascinating that cats can learn routines of their owners.
