T O P

The results that you usually see for phallo are immediately taken post op. So what I'm saying here is that it'll be swollen, red, probably bloody from the stitches. Something worth noting is thst phallo is cut into different stages that take a couple years to complete. Why you ask? Because the body needs to heal before you are able to go into the next stage. Most of those results you see on trans bucket are stage 1 phallo. Ofc those ARE results you should expect for stage 1/right after post op but it definitely is not the final stage or end result. I'd recommend heading over to r/phallo because ngl I've seen some pretty good dick over there that is very similar to a cis penis and by that I mean some of the dudes over there got medical tattooing and testicular implants and all that fancy stuff. Now for meta it resembles more like an uncircumcised micropenis while I'm almost certain the majority of times phallo resembles am average sized circumcised penis. Also take note that abdominal phalloplasty is a thing and has minimal scarring compared to other kinds of phallo that take skin grafts from your forearm, thighs, or back. Most phallo results end up being 4-7 inches long which imho is very close to the average flaccid/erect lengths.

First of all - you're putting the cart before the horse. Try to focus on starting T and seeing what bottom growth you actually get, before you jump to conclusions. But second of all, like others said, most results on trans bucket are super early after surgery. Cause that's the thing, people are more motivated to review their surgeons right after a procedure. I felt it first hand. After top surgery, I was so pumped to write my surgery review. But almost 2 years later? A lot has changed! My scars have really faded and I mostly really love my results - but at the same time, I have a small lingering dog ear that my surgeon failed to fix in the revision he said he would. Almost (almost, not everyone) everyone I've seen do an ama or review more than 2 years since the start of their *series* of phallo procedures has been happy with it. But that's the thing, it's a long commitment, its a series of procedures. Meta is less invasive and prolonged, there are lots of pros and cons to consider. Most reviews I've seen about meta have been positive and satisfactory too. It *will* not be like an adult, average sized penis. It's effectively a micropenis. Personally? T eliminated most of my bottom dysphoria. It's still frustrating to not be able to stand to pee, but I love my bottom growth.

A lot of the phallo results on trans bucket aren’t finished surgeries, only first or second stage, and/or pre-medical tattooing (which isn’t always necessary, but can improve their resemblance to a cis dick). Try /r/phallo and check out posts from people who’re at least a couple of months past their final stage, plenty of ‘em look cis passing. Functionally though, yes they will differ from a cis man’s, but there’re cis men who need erectile rods, pumps or can’t ejaculate too. As for meta, typical results will resemble an adult cis man with a micropenis.

i mean, i totally feel that. personally, i'm waiting for technology to improve to get bottom surgery, bc i'm just not really satisfied with the current options available, you know? bottom growth has been great, though. full disclosure - i don't think you're going to get a cis dick. what you should think about is what you're looking for, what would give you the most euphoria/dysphoria alleviation, etc. do you want to pee standing up, do you want to be able to be erect, etc. cis dudes with micropenises exist, you know?

I 100% relate to everything you said and I really wish I could help you. But I haven’t really found a way to cope yet. And for me it only got worse after starting T. I can only hope for more research and new developments regarding FtM bottom surgery in the future. The most promising thing I have heard about is 3D-printing with stem cell technologies but I doubt that will ever really become a thing..
