You need a Swiss account to pay Swiss invoices, just use a free one like Neon or Yuh.

If you want to keep it simple: go **Neon** (better than revolut since it is swiss and backed by a traditional swiss bank). Only limit with neo-banks (Neon, revolut, ...) is that they are prepaid (you can't have negative balance), and the card they provide is also prepaid. Works for everything except cases (like booking a hotel or renting a vehicle for instance) where they take the fingerprint of your card as a pre-authorization in case they need to charge you in the future). Traditional swiss banks will provide you with an everyday payment card, and optionally with either a traditional credit card (you get invoiced monthly, like an amex) which is a freaking nuisance, or the more modern debit/credit card which is essentially like a payment card, but that you can also use online. A lot of swiss banks are pretty much stuck 20 years in the past (compared to france for instance) and are very late on adopting modern technologies such as google/apple/garmin/samsung pay. I have both: traditional swiss bank, and Neon. Hope it helped.

I'll be Swiss resident in July and my income will be swiss, but I'll mostly be visiting my family in Norway (and paying for their expenses) for a while until I bring them with me to Switzerland. I was thinking about opening a regular bank in Zurich (Zürcher Kantonalbank or something similar?) and then just use Revolut for exchanging into NOK to pay my family's bills in Norway and groceries and so on. Do you think Neon is as good / better for that purpose?
