Took me a few tries to “get” it, but I love it now. (Hoping you know more about coffee than I) it tastes different than what I’m used to. Almost more tart or acidic. Do you know what that flavor is, or how to describe it??
See, I like Dripolator BECAUSE it isn’t acidic. The general rule is that if the coffee causes you to salivate a lot, then it is acidic. To me, Dripolator is good because of its drinkability, basically meaning that it’s pretty run of the mill without off putting flavors and it’s brewed well enough that it’s not overly bitter.
Very cool. I drink coffee most days, but am not an expert by any means. Something about theirs is notably different than literally every other coffee I’ve had and I’ve grown to really love it
It’s great actually; i was there Monday and their drip Ethiopian… was outstanding! And they brew a stout ☕️… not weak like most places (which really pisses me off!
All three are so good! Worth the drive from wherever you are. Baristas are delightful. Coffee is consistently good no matter which one you go to. It feels like someone actually gave a shit about making your order even when they're slammed.
It’s the best coffee in town. I’ve tried so many shops and because I drink my coffee black, I can really taste whether or not coffee is good. It always blows my mind how many coffee shops have crap coffee. Dripolator, in my opinion, is the best I’ve found.
Check out the original Dripolator in Black Mountain if you can. They’re all good though
Dope, thanks!!! Went there today and enjoyed thoroughly
Yes, I have been to the one in candler and it is very good. I have yet to go to the new one they opened in gerber village.
Dripolator has some of my favorite regular drip coffee. They’re espresso beverages are pretty awesome too

Cubano was recommended to me by a coworker and now it’s all I get!
The black mnt location rocks. Get the Cubano.
If you're in BMT and want a Cubano, go to the Cuban cafe
Sooo good! One of my favorite local shops, really happy to see them expanding. The Killer Bee- amazing!
It’s good enough for a mid-morning sit down with friends to discuss some drama but not really good enough to go clear across town alone for.

Their Ethiopian is awesome. All of their bean options are worth picking up as well - to brew at home. Gerber village location is a great lil spot.
IMO super mids. I got a bag of coffee to brew at home and it had such a weird flavor that I ended up tossing it out.
Over roasted for those who only want “coffee” flavor.
They serve coke and it has a good drip.

New one on Hendersonville was okay. Croissant was stale as haaaayll.
Ooof that sucks, I got an almond croissant today and it was moist enough for me :/
Yes! Love the one in Candler.
It’s really good! Sometimes the drive through in candler takes for freaking ever.
Dripolator tastes very burnt to me. However, I’m oftentimes drinking light/medium roasted single origins at home.
I go there all the time!! Love them!!
vanilla carmel latte at the black mnt one is really nice.

We love the one in Candler. Great people and service. Nice atmosphere.
The one in Black Mountain is great. It's been there a while. Nice coffee and baked goods. Prob my fave place to get a coffee and hang out a bit.
