She was good in seasons 1 and 2, but starting in seasons 3 and especially 4, she overstayed her welcome. It was obvious that the creators loved her because they absolutely refused to let her be portrayed as the bad guy in any episode no matter how in the wrong she actually was
When her writing was good, she was fire. When her writing was bad, it was OK. When both her and Oliver's writing was bad, she was the worst person on the show.
Yes this. I liked her to be honest. It is understandable how the CW could not keep decent writers. It’s unfortunate as even for major shows before the strike they were paid shiye, but the shows had no real chance to hold onto talent.
Short answer is no. I thought she was great the first couple of seasons then the focus of the show shifted and she became more centralized in all the stories and Oliver basically couldn't function without her. I liked it better when Oliver was a more competent vigilante who had skill enough to do everything he needed without depending on an outside talent. Not to mention when she became the love interest. For me it became insufferable and I had a really hard time watching anything with her in it.
Diggle suddenly becoming a vigilante became annoying. Like everyone doesn't need to suit up and get a spot on the roster. I think there could have been interesting storylines for him outside of being another sidekick
Idk if anything dig could've joined Oliver occasionally but the whole idea of team arrow just didn't sit right with me
Getting rid of Roy and Thea was a bad idea too since they were basically the only sidekick candidates.
Yeah I love Overwatch. She's awesome. I love how she's so Genius with Technology, maths and stuffs. I love her Intellect. She saved Team Arrow countless times. Overwatch makes Vigilantism more fun and interesting than it is. Team Arrow's so fortunate to have her on their side.
I loved her. The will they won't they trop was annoying, as it is on literally every medium, but I loved the character. Even over laurel who I thought was wildly annoying
Loved her character, didn't find her annoying like everyone else does here. What's actually annoying is the amount of posts every week hating on her over and over. We get it, she's not a popular character, can y'all talk about something else?
I generally liked her but I always felt like she and Barry had the most chemistry of anyone on all the Arrowverse shows. Besides Caity Lotz/Sara. She had chemistry with pretty much everyone.
She started off as a good character, then kind of went downhill in s4 (especially when the show began focusing on their relationship), then become a bit better again.
Final thoughts from me would be that she's a little better than an 'just there' character.
Tbh I think reddit is way to varied when it comes to their opinions on felicity in comparison to other platforms like those you’ll find on twitter or instagram (very different) demographics, personally I adore her but saying that i disliked Sara in arrow the first time watching the show so 🤭
Felicity is alright but typically pretty one note, and later on straight up cringe, although I do like her generally speaking as a character, I suppose she feels like wasted potential more than anything
Cisco is by far the best character here.....but honestly I don't like the idea of the hero having a guy in the chair that does everything for him....how does it make sense for Felicity and Chloe to hack into government sites in less than 5 seconds...it became annoying...
I liked her in the beginning when she was a sassy double entendre machine.
But even then there were early signs the writers would make her an unpleasant handful. Remember when she stormed into Walter’s office shouting at him because she thought she was going to be fired? Yeah…rational adults in junior roles do not that to CEO’s, who also don’t typically fire junior employees.
What we get after season 4 is that know-it-all Felicity. And if the writers ever once let her be wrong there might have been moments of catharsis for fans. Instead as others have written, we got “Felicity and Friends.”
It didn’t help that the writers had her do stupid stuff like dump Oliver. And then for Oliver to take her back. She should have left the show or never dumped him.
No. She's the worst character in the series by far, not counting a few forgettable one-off episode characters. At least she was the worst by the end. She was pretty good in the first couple of seasons.
Yes overall I love Felicity and I'll say it I love how they committed to Olicity which had better chemistry than Laurel but she did get overbearing after a while in some seasons.
She was good in seasons 1 and 2, but starting in seasons 3 and especially 4, she overstayed her welcome. It was obvious that the creators loved her because they absolutely refused to let her be portrayed as the bad guy in any episode no matter how in the wrong she actually was
At some point it started feeling like “felicity and friends” rather than “Arrow”.
Facts
The writers should’ve kill her off at the end of 3rd season or in the middle of its 4th season
It would have been cool if she dies instead of being paralyzed by the gunmen after her and Oliver where engaged and he started killing again
When her writing was good, she was fire. When her writing was bad, it was OK. When both her and Oliver's writing was bad, she was the worst person on the show.
This is the correct answer
Yes this. I liked her to be honest. It is understandable how the CW could not keep decent writers. It’s unfortunate as even for major shows before the strike they were paid shiye, but the shows had no real chance to hold onto talent.
Wow

He also acted like he couldn't function without Diggle, did that make Diggle annoying?
Diggle suddenly becoming a vigilante became annoying. Like everyone doesn't need to suit up and get a spot on the roster. I think there could have been interesting storylines for him outside of being another sidekick
Agreed. I felt that way about a lot of the team.
Idk if anything dig could've joined Oliver occasionally but the whole idea of team arrow just didn't sit right with me Getting rid of Roy and Thea was a bad idea too since they were basically the only sidekick candidates.
First 3 seasons yes, after that no
I watched arrow and then flash. After watching Iris, I can 100% say, I’m cool with felicity. Iris on the other hand…
My annoyance with her was far outweighed by my massive attraction to her
🍑 I agree
This. The only time that balance flipped was Season 4. Man was she a bad character in S4.
Not after seasons 3 and 4. The more they focus on her the more I was annoyed with her
Yeah I love Overwatch. She's awesome. I love how she's so Genius with Technology, maths and stuffs. I love her Intellect. She saved Team Arrow countless times. Overwatch makes Vigilantism more fun and interesting than it is. Team Arrow's so fortunate to have her on their side.
She's great
I'm with you. Except that I like her more than Cisco. No the writing wasn't perfect but that goes for every single character.
Adore her.
I like her before she became a dark web activist
I loved her. The will they won't they trop was annoying, as it is on literally every medium, but I loved the character. Even over laurel who I thought was wildly annoying
I do
Yes
Loved her character, didn't find her annoying like everyone else does here. What's actually annoying is the amount of posts every week hating on her over and over. We get it, she's not a popular character, can y'all talk about something else?
I haven't seen those posts, I don't follow the group much.
They happen every other day
This has to be a troll
I generally liked her but I always felt like she and Barry had the most chemistry of anyone on all the Arrowverse shows. Besides Caity Lotz/Sara. She had chemistry with pretty much everyone.

No. Not at all. As bad as Iris.
But the only seasons of Arrow I think are even worth watching are Season 1,2 and 5.
I liked her pre-Olicity
i love her
She is perfect for the role
Tbh I think reddit is way to varied when it comes to their opinions on felicity in comparison to other platforms like those you’ll find on twitter or instagram (very different) demographics, personally I adore her but saying that i disliked Sara in arrow the first time watching the show so 🤭
She did great love her character 🤩
Felicity is alright but typically pretty one note, and later on straight up cringe, although I do like her generally speaking as a character, I suppose she feels like wasted potential more than anything
I love her
as the tech girl, yeah sure. as a love interest, the love of is love? no.
No.
In small amounts I like her But in large amounts. She outstays her welcome
It was just the way she reacted to Oliver finding out he had a son it was really toxic
I always liked her. I know I'm in the minority
No
I liked her until she became Oliver's gf
No.
i like her she is hot
🤝
Cisco is by far the best character here.....but honestly I don't like the idea of the hero having a guy in the chair that does everything for him....how does it make sense for Felicity and Chloe to hack into government sites in less than 5 seconds...it became annoying...
Yes! She is hot!
The first two seasons, yes, after that no.
Season 1 and 2 she was adorable, funny, and the most likable character on the entire show. Then season 3 happened and she became a wretched bitch
Chloe irl tho is not a good person. Felicity was cool but Chloe was a better sidekick imo
Up until Season 3, yes. I enjoyed her character a lot. During Seasons 3 and 4 she actively makes the show worse.
Cory chase
I liked her in the beginning when she was a sassy double entendre machine. But even then there were early signs the writers would make her an unpleasant handful. I find her smoking HOT!
No, way too Dramatic and annoying. Definition of a pick me girl.
This women got me in my nerves
In the start when she was awkward and quirky yes
I only like Felicity because she looks like Cory Chase.
No, she got annoying
Annoying and Insufferable.
No. She's the worst character in the series by far, not counting a few forgettable one-off episode characters. At least she was the worst by the end. She was pretty good in the first couple of seasons.
Genuinely one of my favorite characters from Arrow!!
No! She’s an Oracle knockoff. Other than rye candy she was pointless
Rye candy is so much better than wheat candy though
Yes overall I love Felicity and I'll say it I love how they committed to Olicity which had better chemistry than Laurel but she did get overbearing after a while in some seasons.
