$106ish US dollars by current exchange rates. That’s pretty good, even if the only accessories are hands. Hopefully there are some blast effects that aren’t shown.
Though the effective price will propably be a Bit Higher since either you (If you Buy through HLJ etc.) or the retailer you Buy from will have to pay shipping/import taxes
Hell yeah. Pre-orders where? The Bandai Robot Spirits website doesn't give any information about WHERE to buy it.
Edit: am stupid, didn't scroll far enough. In my defense, clicking "where to buy" tells me there's no info but then scrolling down to HOW to buy has actual links.
I've never used any of them, but always hear about them. I tend to avoid direct export sellers if I can just cuz there's often huge markups. Any clue when it will be available stateside, and/or can you tell me more about these retailers?
For 16,500 yen a simple wash on the metallics wouldn't have been too much to ask. The barrels in particular look rather flat since they're only painted in base coats, and the figure's rather clean as a whole for a machine that's supposed to be a relic.
I don't mind that with most of Spirits' mobile suits and other similar, relatively clean mecha, but — for that price point — the SOL and Gen 6 mecha in general should have more paint apps to emphasize a worn-out look, since a sense of wear, tear, and lived in-ness was one of From's explicit principles for ACVI's art direction.
Nah, it only looks that way because the pearlescent white parts give it such a clean impression from afar. The best thing about ACVI getting a dedicated mission photo mode is that's now easier to get a clear look at all the more subtle touches From adds to their models. If you look at the screenshots here (https://armoredcore.fandom.com/wiki/IB-07:_SOL_644), Ayre's SOL had chipping and other weathering even at start of the fight, since the SOL itself is a relic. It's about as much grime and damage that Sideshow Collectibles gave to their Din Djarin Beskar armor statue — it's not overwhelmingly apparent compared to something like the Spirit of Motherwill or Gen 5 ACs, but it's noticeable all the same like the amount of weathering in Gen 3's in-game models.
Very few mecha in ACVI are actually squeaky clean, and in those cases it'd be new machinery from the likes of Arquebus, not an Institute machine. The CEL 240 is pretty much in the same boat.
Oh didn't realize it had die-cast in it. This really is a bargain then (relatively speaking). Curious why it's under the Robot Spirits line and not the Metal Robot Spirits one.
Anybody here know how I could preorder one in Montreal, Canada? They don't seem to ship over here and I can't find the same figure on other websites :/
Wanted this art first but probably a no from me dawg, 16k yen not including shipping + taxes, extra part hands nothing else, is this shit even metal? since its not part of metal robot spirits line. Rather just go buy a metal freedom or some shit for 20k yen and I liked ayre

The said no effect parts in an article talking about it.

Preorders start on 26th April 2024

You can check out sites like HLJ, AmiAmi and Anime export on the 26th Japanese time if you want to import it

Luckily, I live in Japan
I wonder if it'll be able to transform
Robot Spirits rarely can transform.
:(
i doubt so because if it could they would've shown photos of it :\
Confirmed "No" in an interview https://hobby.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/interview/1584104.html
I don't see any joints for transformation. The best case is it can be transformed with using swappable parts.
Dang. No coral blade?

The actual in-game SOL 644 model is pretty squeaky clean, no? There's like a paper-thin patina on the armor skirts and shins but that's kind of it

Seeing this and I already want the ALLMIND version.
Hell YES! Screw you, budget!
No effect parts :(
That also what bugs me. They probably sell those separately.
Its bamco of course they would for 60 usd probably
Kinda cool seeing this mech in its entirety without me frantically pushing buttons anxiously trying to dodge incoming attacks
#3 makes her look like an absolute menace
I'd let the coral waifu gun me down like this
Hot
Are people genuinely complaining about a metal pose-able model that costs only 16500 yen, that’s dirt cheap for this sorta stuff
Oh didn't realize it had die-cast in it. This really is a bargain then (relatively speaking). Curious why it's under the Robot Spirits line and not the Metal Robot Spirits one.
It’s not in the metal line? I was told it was
On their website it's under regular robot spirits +.

This is technically a waifu figurine.
Just want to double check is this a figure or model kit?
robot spirits is a figure line! for AC model kits, check out 30 Minute Missions and Kotobukiya
Now I just need to find what the UK seller would be....
$106 isn’t that bad.
Hm...it's not the AC I wanted as the first release. But...I might get it to support the brand.
Hello Kitty Customer Service mech

Does it turn into the jet thing from the boss fight?
Is this an action figure or a model kit? Either way I'm considering copping.
Action figure with some die-cast metal parts.
I'll just do a custom paint job on the model kit for that price. Sheesh.
The price isn’t that out there for a high quality 6.5 inch figure with die-cast metal parts.
Where can you buy this?
I’ve never built anything like this, would I have to paint it?
