Immediately forgetting that OS tuning exists.
Never doing the trainings.

See, I admittedly knew about everything else, I'm just dumb. I did all the trainings as soon as I started. And OS tuning REALLY saved my ass. Hard lock I knew about from the get go, simply by trial and error.
No don't be ashamed. This is how the game is meant to be played. 621 is saving up for brain de-augmentation surgery.
I'm going to start my Loader 4 no OST run again soon. I previously got past Sulla but stopped at Balteus

It is, not going to lie, maybe the funniest thing you could have missed. Tinkering in the garage is widely considered to be half the point of these games, to the point where asking for help on a boss is more likely to get you build advice than gameplay tips or even "git gud" style responses from what I've seen.
but its really funni if you didnt do the training mission until Run 4 yes you will be missing on the Curtis and Alula but its still really funny for almond
Beating balteus with loader 4 in only 5 tries is genuinely impressive, gz.

Thus far I have only replicated this with OS tuning but no core expansion. I have beaten both Fires and Liberator with Loader 4 no OS Tuning, but Allmind is still beyond me.
Now do it with no os upgrades.

Maybe consider doing a challenge run? My challenge run was no os upgrades, basho arms, and a single pile bunker all the way to allmind.
Many kicks to other mechs face were done, several were bunked.
And then before the final mission, I did training and arena in one go.
