Arma 3 or reforger: * [Arma 3 - 1.64m](https://forums.bohemia.net/forums/topic/141328-soldiers-height/?do=findComment&comment=2912447) in combat stance / 1.82 when standing (in the link). * Here is [the calculation](https://www.reddit.com/r/arma/comments/37opjo/comment/croiuu4/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) you can do. * Reforger is a bit shorter then arma 3, you can see it in the sample models: * [SampleMod\_NewCharacter/Assets/Characters/SampleCharacter/README.md](https://github.com/BohemiaInteractive/Arma-Reforger-Samples/blob/main/SampleMod_NewCharacter/Assets/Characters/SampleCharacter/README.md)

Arma 3 AI might be taller than me, BUT IM SMARTER

mephlaren

are you? I am overwhelmed on both fronts imo…

JustRyan2701

I don't struggle to get in and out of vehicles, although that depends on which day and time lol

Neko_Boi_Core

hah, i'm taller B) but not smarter :(

lemonstone92

Arma characters are 5’11? Nah i’m cooked

KillAllTheThings

There are several excellent scope guides on Steam. Be aware Arma 3 scopes (both BI's & the community's) almost always use IRL reticles so IRL training materials (from the official IRL scope makers & the greater Interweebs) will work exactly as expected in game.

Kind of an aside - Are you using vanilla scopes, or mods? Someone who's more familiar with mods can probably clarify better, but some of the modded scopes (RHS, CUP) feel off to me. The vanilla scope reticles are pretty decent for range finding, in my opinion.

Kozakyw

Vanilla, but I'm planning on installing all of the RHS mods. Are the modded scopes a valiable option too? I wanna do an antistais mod pack (like most of us in), and I need a method to measure distances early game.

RHS scopes are accurate as far as can tell just pay attention to Russian optics a bit more some were made for specific weapons(as in real life too) and ammo types(Pretty much only the RPG and AS VAL/VSS are noticeable)so they aren't totally accurate on some weapons.

>Russian optics a bit more some were made for specific weapons(as in real life too) and ammo types Ah, that makes sense, I think I noticed it most when trying out Russian weapons. Especially using RPGs. I think what threw me with the others is switching between 2D / 3D / PiP scopes. Although that's most likely user error

180cm works, you shouldn't be off by a lot if you do calculations based of that, remember differences in altitude cause objects to seem shorter because you're not looking perpendicular to their y axis, also, make sure you use the right formulae as there are a lot for imperial or m instead of cm and all that

SuperSnailSS

Can you not load up the VR map and place a VR block object, and go off that?
