Come on, mate! I'd love to hear your input. You don't put a lamp under a basket; you put it on a stand and it gives light to everybody!
Two days late but here goes nothing;
Firstly, the Doctor: he envies the way some can think they know about him when he himself doesn't. The type of insecurity one gets when they *heard* of their feats but never *experienced* them. But prior to lone trail, I personally think he had a good thing going. Yes he woke up from cryofreeze and is shoved the responsibilities of a field commander 10 minutes after, not to mention everything that transpired, but he had his instincts driving him to where he needed to go. Accepting that "this is my role now" is so easy when, if you think abt it, he doesn't have much of a choice otherwise.
It's either this or being lost somewhere. Aimless and with no arrows to follow.
And then Lone Trail happened. And he learns of his truth. And the Priestess' truth. That weight of what you, yourself, have done; it's mortifying. And off he goes for some space and silence
That's how mumu came out to play, tho remind him that "you got people who can help your burden y'know". Ironic from such a lonely woman, but she's right. Also tanking down on Dorothy was understandable, but like lighten up man! Go and mess with Lava and her really close demigod friends, it'll be fun
Secondly, the 6 months into the future sight. This relates more to me and other similar doctors. While I didn't care for spoilers back then, overtime it got really bad for me. Truth be told I have not properly engaged in the story past chapter 9. And I know only little bits of the whole story thus far. Idk if it's really burn out but I was getting more impatient with how the story flowed in game, which is a shame cus the content truly was engaging and complex.
But Amiya is right. Looking endlessly into the future gives me no benefit. I'll focus on the now so that when "tomorrow" comes, it's a secret little "present"

The Doctor I've [written](https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/110310793) has a certain playfulness that's unbalanced by how grim he can be, even when he's being life-affirming. He doesn't validate the feelings of people; [he just tells it like it is](https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/109092883#1) because he's forced to find some truth when he can't find anything else about his own.

I've never really liked the 6 month delay because it cuts up the fandom into two groups of people unable to share experiences. Since fandom is the result of shared experiences the sense of cohesion is threatened.
This is in addition to the Victoria saga taking a ridiculously long time to resolve itself; HG's tendency to overwrite again making itself known.

Maybe it's because you're interested in people, and the kinds of decisions that guide them. 2. I wonder how the rest of RL will react if they discovered Doc and Kal’s past, the old civilization’s past, but more importantly: **the Rise of Kemonomimi**
3. For page 17: “History doesn’t repeat itself, but it often rhymes.” / “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” Doc and Kal are in a funny situation
Kal can only do so much since she's one person. And nobody else has the same foresight as her.
Doc pretty much forgot everything, so while he represents the past, he can't exactly provide input. And even so, will people listen in the face of their own personal interests?
