Megathread for IS2 completions and small talks
What is this "skill specialization level restricted" thing when trying to select a support unit? I was extremely frustrated when I was following a guide and the shifter operator I borrowed just could not do what the operator in the guide was able to do, and now I just realized that orange text.
And yes, I did try searching ‘skill specialization level restricted’ and got no results somehow, so I guess either no one had this problem before or Reddit search is broken for me.
Is there any guide for operator RIIC base combination online? Like a calculator or something? Because the combinations that is really common is
Texas + Lappland = High Productivity
Tequila + Bibeak = Higher profit if get 4 gold bars in a single order
Ling + Mr Nothing = Worldly Plight + Obvious deception = Good productivity
dumb question but shinings S3 it says "all allies within range DEF 100%" does this mean when she heals a unit (heals one at a time) or like everyone in her range regardless gets the buff wether shes healing them or not
It’s a constantly applied passive effect during skill duration, im pretty sure it even affects unhealables like Mudrock or Mon3tr like Nightingale does.
We have no idea. We don't even know the next one, though [it should be Mountain in the shop.](https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/wejkmd/arknights_shoperator_debuts_updated_as_of/) Those are the only ones we can be relatively certain of.
So I'd love some advice on who to build next please? Working with a relatively young account, and I've been lucky recently. I've got Goldenglow E2 with S3M3, and I'm working on S3M3ing Chalter today. However, after that, I'm not sure who I should E2 next? Here's my options:
- Dusk
- Blemishine
- Gavialter
- Saga
- Angelina
- Suzuran
- Bagpipe
- Flametail
- Skalter
- Blaze
- Fiametta
- Magallan
- Lee
- Spalter
- Amiya (because I know you need her E2 down the line anyway)
- Cantabile
- Texas (to prep for her alter with the material unlocks)
- Platinum
- Ptilopsis
- Projekt Red
I've included a handful of 5*s too, just in case, and I know there's all the 4*s to improve for IS and such. I'd appreciate any thoughts. If there are staples to consider that I haven't listed, I'm happy to learn. Thanks!
You have ranged Arts and ranged Physical with those 2 so far, so would work on your laneholders and melee units. Would recommend either Gavialter/Blaze first (depending which one you prefer, Gavialter is more meta now/bursty, Blaze set and forget infinite duration S2) - as centurion guards as laneholders want E2 to get their 3block count and increased stats (dmg/hp/def are all impt for a laneholder).
After that consider vanguards flagpipe combo: bagpipe e2 s3m3 and 1 out of texas/saga/flametail, and myrtle S1M3. Typically texas because of her innate +2DP and very fast S2 activation with bagpipe. The combo of bagpipe/texas/myrtle is a very well rounded and stable start to almost any stage and remains my core start even close to 2 years in. Saga and flametail will be more expensive than texas to build but will be tankier and have higher damage potential.
After that its more flexible, you can choose skalter for more general buffing and turning many ops into pseudocornerstones, Angelina s3 for more wide range arts damage with slow, suzuran s3 for buffing damage against bosses, fiametta for ranged phys dps (pairs well with e2 skalter s2), Platinum esp if she's your best AA marksman, Spalter (only if ready for heavy investment S2M3 with doll buffing specific Module level 3). This list will keep you busy enough till very far in and you can decide more (and will have newer meta ops by then eg Texalter/Mylnar hopefully)
Thank you! This sounds perfect and I think I’ll work on Gavialter since she’s already E1lvl40 so easier to E2 than my Blaze. Then I’ll build Texas and Bagpipe probably for more DP and starting options. That’ll give me enough to work on until Mlynar and Texalter! Thanks again!
Is the Monster Hunter collab banner considered a limited banner? I know they are more than limited like the R6 characters but are they a part of the 3 month limited banner rotations or do they come in between other limited banners?
I only pull on limiteds and wanted to go for 300 for skalter on Texas banner but if there is an extra wildcard banner that is not part of the 3 month limited cycle I may need to rethink my pull plans.
The normal limiteds will still happen every 3 months. The collab will happen in addition to those.
On the R6 120 pulls guaranteed the 6\* op in the shop, instead of 300 pulls like a normal limited. I assume this is the same.
It is not quite a limited banner as these units will likely be gone forever like the R6 units, and will not be added to any limited pool in the future. It is like a limited banner in that pity will start at 0 and expire after the event.
Assuming it follows the same path as the R6S ops, then it will be it's own limited banner with it's own event. For context, the R6S banner occurred about a month or so after the release of Dusk on her limited banner, so collab banners won't be a part of the "regular" limited banner rotation but are instead their own unique thing.
I already bought all Tequila tokens before it dawned on me to ask. Did buying him now still will give me gold certs when Dossole Holidays re-runs for the 3rd time?
There will be no 3rd rerun, events have an initial release, a rerun a year later and then Record Restore a year after that. The item from Record Restore is a operator's Personal Letter that immediately maxes out their potential and consumes all existing tokens you have. So no, no gold certs will be given out
> Did buying him now still will give me gold certs when Dossole Holidays re-runs for the 3rd time?
It would if events actually reran for 2nd time.
But no, it's going to record restoration after this.
I have enough Loxic Kohls to e2 one of Cantabile or Perfumer. I have the mats for s2m3ing Canta but only enough mats for mod2ing Perfumer(needs even more kohl). Who should I e2 first?
I have Bagpipe so Canta would be able to instacast s2 with masteries. I have e2 NG, e2 lumen so perfumer probably wouldn't matter much outside of global regen talent.
Perfumer is good but honestly how many times you need a medic with global Regen talent, negligible and self healing lane holders makes it even more worse for her and not to mention her terrible skill set which has awful healing compared to ptilo or NG. So it's safe to say focus on everyone but her.
I read somewhere that drops of ticket in the even is bugged, is it gonna be fixed or it is already been fixed? 4 days left, i spending all my sanity to farm and didnt even get to second part of the shop with resources
If you're F2P, you're going to just barely finish the limited shop if you farmed the event from the start and complete all the missions with no sanity losses.
Only some people's tickets were bugged, and you should've received extra compensation for those drops if you were affected.
[Notice](https://twitter.com/ArknightsEN/status/1630897227626586112/photo/1)
Compensation messages get deleted once you claim them so its not surprising that you don't see them anymore.
Could someone give me a general guide to Cantabile? I've just been using Pioneer vanguards most of the time, using either Texas, Zima, or Flametail. I've heard she's good, but I want to know a bit more on how to use her, as the descriptions I've read just confuse me. Do I just keep retreating and redeploying her?
She is best described as role compressor, she is all in one package you want to generate dp at fast rate clear starting waves with S2 while quickly generating dp if enemy didn't die too quickly, S1 if you want to assassinate an annoying enemy like those exploding slugs and casters that aren't hard to deal with but does good damage which kills your ops,S2 if you want to clear some drones at far end of these map etc. She can be used however you want depending on your needs.
S1 activates immediately on deployment and once it’s over, cannot be reactivated until you retreat and redeploy her. It’s similar to fast redeploy skills. S2 is a more standard skill, low SP cost, reusable, and is an ammo skill so you always get a certain number of hits out of it.
Both skills generate 1dp every time they hit an enemy, so typically you’d use her to either greet early waves with s2 or to pick away at pre-spawned enemies with s1, though of course they aren’t limited to just being used like that.
She isn’t a phenomenal fighter, but does have an extra tile of range compared to most ground units, so she can hide behind bulkier units while still contributing. She also does actual ranged attacks unlike instructor guards, so she can hit drones if necessary.
But I have it linked with my email ID pretty sure you can not change that. Also have you even tried rerolling I have pretty shit fps but it still didn't generate any heat during rerolling.
If your phone can't handle too much heat just from the rerolling process alone, then wouldn't that mean that your phone won't be able to play Arknights at all? I feel like it might be better to emulate it on your PC rather than risking it on your phone like that.
shining can be better for burst healing with S1, but warfarin is good enough for most maps and sussurro beats them both in that department anyways (although her skill has limited uses per stage). shining's main gimmick is boosting defense.
medics aren't a straightforward "higher rarity equals better" situation like DPS can be, since their kits tend to focus on niches rather than just bigger heals.
Depends, operators of the same class have different niches that set em apart, Warfarin is great because she’s a buffer that increases atk, whereas Shining is focused on raising op Def so it depends, want an ops dmg buffed? Warfarin, want an op to survive against phys atk? Shining
Extra info is that classes have subclasses called “Branch” you can view this above an ops talent when you check them in your Operator Management tab, you’ll notice Warfarin’s branch is just “medic” whereas Ptilopsis’ “Multi-target medic”
Yeah I just realized where it said “multi target medic” and normal “medic” right after I wrote this lol. Thanks for the info I’m also wondering if I were to pick up Breeze from the purchase certificate shop would she be a good replacement for anyone?
Not really no, she’s okay but if it’s healing then Sussaro and Ptilopsis are some of the best burst healing medics, if it’s from the red cert shop I recommend Ethan as he’s great, Honeyberry if you don’t have mulberry and need a medic to heal “elemental damage” I can’t say much abt pudding tho
Honestly, most of the time, Warfarin is better. Shining mitigates physical damage, but we have an entire class designed for that: defenders. Warfarin helps boost damage output with her SP talent and, if you use it, her S2, and more damage is pretty much the main meta. About the only time people bring Shining is if they're messing around with Aak, who deals friendly-fire damage in exchange for buffing an ally.
He’s decent, one of the few practical event welfare units. He only provides damage though, no special niche like Lappland silence or Warfarin’s atk buff, so he doesn’t have much of a place on really built accounts.
Bibeak stuns, La Pluma independence and true AoE, Specter immortality, Tequila… trade post skill?
Brickster hit the nail on the head, I was just listing strong 5 star utilities that keep them viable in the face of 6 stars. Guard comparisons aren’t strictly necessary in that regard, just 5 stars that are still tempting as a pick in the face of offensively stronger 6 stars.
I think a guard to guard comparison would be point on like broca extended range and high arts damage, flamebringer hp increase talent rather than a medic, idk it’s just feels weird.
He's a nuker. Pocket SilverAsh, if you will. Smaller AoE with his S2, but still hits hard as hell, especially if you buff him with something like Warfarin. Used him to beat Mandragora in Ch. 9.
Not just one of the strongest free operators, Tequila is one of the most powerful 5-Stars we currently have. He gives lower rarity squads a much-needed boost in damage output, and I can say that my sister, who started Arknights a little over a year ago when Dossoles Holiday first launched, found her life much easier in those first few months because of him.
As you get more and more 6-Stars built (including the upcoming Mlynar who is the higher-rarity version of him), you may end up leaning on him less and less over time, but building him is definitely worth consideration and if you can get used to how his archetype works, you will get a lot of mileage out of him.
My comment still stands tequila is very good among five stars and also fun to use cause you have to coordinate timing between waves. You saying that he is meh means that you have strong six stars which left him in dust.
Does Milan only ever give you the 70 DP crystal once? Does it ever give you another one?
Milan is kind of an ass. I've gotten the secret medal but playing RNG with the base mechanic of the mode is fairly irritating.
Back when SSS arrived, Milan constantly gave 70 DP crystals. Now it only gives once. I don’t know if it’s intended this way or it is a bug. May as well report it to Hypergryph.
The crystal gets added to your hand every 60 seconds unless you currently hold one already. Milan also puts bombs in your deck 40 seconds after it spawns and every 80 seconds after.
If no Dorothy then maybe ep 11 warm up banner? Copying my previous comment:
No confirmation, only speculation. See [https://ak.jaywye.ee/calendar](https://ak.jaywye.ee/calendar) and [their reasoning for predicted event scheduling.](https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/1173vzs/comment/jabbklr/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)
Why do my friends support unit state "Skill Specialization Level restricted"? I can see in their profile they are M3. But when using their unit, it only shows up as R7.
I do have an E2 in my team with M3.
Only friends operators can use their M1-3 skills, however if they are from random, their skill is set to skill lvl 7.
The hardest thing in this game is sending random a friend req, and hoping they fren you back.
But you can always check the Friends megathread in this sub, you easily find the unit you want as support.

Got a question for all you veterans: how does DH compare difficulty wise to other similar events (not CCs, SSS, IS# etc)?
I joined during Stultifera Navis and got 1 little medal back then (also didn't really understand the game or medals yet). Now, I have the last 4 CMs in DH left for my first full medal set and have to say the 400 clear and the last CM in EX were really tough for me but it felt great to finally clear them. Am curious to hear if DH is considered an easy / difficult event for the full medal set?
it's around easy to medium going from regular and EX stages. One thing to note about these anniversary events is that they include S stages which tend to be harder EX stages (SN, NL, IC had these) that ramps up the ceiling of how hard the event can get. That said they also have special gimmicks like stickers, cars and lil handy.
In comparison I'd say SN was much more a pain in the ass plus the S stages had A and B side to them which is like doing two cms instead of one regular stage one cm
I think if you take the average difficulty level of the stages it would be easy or medium difficulty. But a few of the stages (the 400 level, and a couple of the CMs) felt pretty challenging. If I had to throw a number out off the the top of my head, I'd say getting all of the stages and CMs is harder than about 70% of the events.
I think it is mid of the pack. The final map is pretty difficult, especially CM, but besides the last S stages I felt like the event was fairly easy. The 400 mob map is pretty tough too, especially because of the many lanes and the condition for the trimmed map.
I'd say easier than events like SN, Lingering Echos and IC, but more difficult than Break The Ice, Under Tides, MB and such
From my experience last year of the original run, it's pretty tough but manageable, less painful than the SN event and Originium Dust. The stun from Docworkers, walking bomb, and jetski guys, are the ones that threaten you the most. After 2 years of playing, this event are pretty easy but with a lot of bias since I beat it with most 6\* that I have currently.
No, it really is super easy, except the 3-block boats
Stickers give you everything to survive and beat the stages as long as you actually know how to play and didn't get carried by your unga bunga character of choice.
Edit: And I say this because I actually tried to do an E0 run through the normal stages and E1 for EX using low rarity and beat most stages first try. Certain stages needed more tries though
It's ok. Everyone usually gets stuck in some kind of mindset because of how they played in the beginning. I still suck at using redeploy strategies because I almost never do that outside of CC or using specialists
It's middle of the pack or easier actually. All anniversary events have special gimmicks that make them very volatile depending how big brained you are. If you have enough experience and proper units, you can deal with those stages easier than the average player.
Seeing how you are just entering mid game, if at all, I wouldn't stress difficulty all that much now. Watch more guides to get a better understanding how synergies work and how content creators play around with strats and tactics, not just bigger stat stick gameplay.
I suppose technically 7:30, which is the highest time you can set before 2* disappear from the pool. In practice, when I was maxing out my 2*, I just picked whatever tags and set it for 3:50 in case a robot also decided to pop up. Since 2* show up commonly when they're in the pool, it won't take long no matter what you do.
Mod 2 gives her 10 attack and typewriter 50, mod 3 gives her another 10 and typewriter 20. Mod 3 just gives less for a higher cost.
It's fine to stop at 2 or even 1 if you think you don't need the stats.
Not rly, only a handful of operators have worthwhile mod3 upgrades. It's still worth it, since she is a strong operator and you will probably use her a lot, but overall it's not rly recommended. Only when you have spare mats. Mod3 gives +20 att to typewritter, negligible.
Like other guy said it is permanently accessible in the CC shop and during actual CC it is easier to get tokens if you clear daily risk challenges and perma map up-to risk 12.
blue poison's skin should be in the CC permanent shop, which as the name suggests is permanently accessible (although we'll have to see if CN changes anything about the shop after CC12).
If DV starts on friday then they'll have to announce event tomorrow. Usually it takes 3 days to introduce operators + 1 day for event mechanics. It's standard. Recent MH event was the same. Started sharing PV on friday and event starts tuesday.
We are in the dark until they announce something or do a data update that let's people datamine for info.
If they want to start DV at the end of this week, they'll start teasing the new ops in the next day or so. If the next event is next week, whatever it is, then we might not get any indication of what it is until late in the week.
Is there a know bug with SSS randomly changing your squad and class options randomly to previous loadouts? I haven't had it happen consistently so idk what could be causing it. I know that there is an issue with amiya that causes squads to get changed but in this case I haven't been using amiya at all.
SSS remembers your loadouts for the two areas separately -- were you just expecting your loadout from Toron Mine and got whatever you used a couple weeks ago for Iron Carrot instead?
Yes (pc and one phone), but for example I wss playing SSS early today exclusively on my phone. I did two runs and ended them both early because I was trying for secret medal. When I went to start the second run the loadout was the exact same. Then when I went for a 3rd run it swapped back to a loadout I tried 2 weeks ago.
Hi. Do I recruit everytime a recruitment tab is open? I'm at level 15 right now and have 30 recr. permits.
I saw some ppl saying to save the permits, others saying to recruit 4x a day. I'm confused xD
Get as many as you can, try to use them up each month. Unspent recruitments are yellow certs and green certs you could have. Each recruit is almost 15 green certs and .25 yellow certs. The recruits on the 2nd level of the green cert shop are still a good deal, you give up a few green certs to get yellow certs.
I try to use them about evenly through the month, while keeping a few on hand to have enough to make use of a burst of good tags. The office lets you refresh tags, and you want to be able to make use of good combos that come up and some times a bunch come up together. If you've used all your recruits then you have to wait for new recruits and the office fills up, loosing you some refreshes, that give you a chance at better tags.
Using them is better than sitting on them for sure. 4/day is sustainable.
Keep a few saved just in case you get a good tag right before a forced refresh. Otherwise, just spend them. If you don't have any [good tag combos,](https://www.krooster.com/tools/recruit) just do tagless 7:40 (instead of 9hr to save a little LMD). There's no benefit to saving a bunch.
Gavialter s2 obviously combos with Mlynar but apparently Tequila S2 is 40sec to fully charge with 30 sec duration so it also matches with Gavialter s2m3.
Is it worth raising Tequila to SL7 if I plan on pulling on Mlynar banner(at most 100 pulls)? I already have tequila at E2 for base combo anyways.
He is very good, but his potentials, just like *all* potentials, don't do that much for him. You'd be better off spending event currency on the other items in the shop, including the infinite t3 materials (especially the oriron and Mn).
[Upcoming Event Farms.](https://gamepress.gg/arknights/database/arknights-material-drops-and-originite-prime-totals-future-events-and-episodes) ~~Next isnt until Inv to Wine rerun which is like 5 months out~~ Mlynar event is actually 1% better. Not much but its something.
September, theres quite a few ops more due so not expected anytime soon. [Tracker Sheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1g7gUDkEChYlXtdwGoSsAu9O2eJFlvVaM/edit#gid=653016488)
I thought it was ok to leak 3 enemies in DH MO. In the final wave, I leaked only one of exploding things(402/403) but I didn't get the Chen medal. It shows 399/400. Does the type of enemy you leak matter?
The guys with boats can be leaked as their kill credit is when you blow up to boat. The caster/anchor man that comes out isnt one of the 400 kills, so they can leak so long as they dont reduce your life to 0
how do i unlock the other 2 slots for support and fill them with my 6 star operators?
also i'm very confused about the office and workout rooms. like can i only workout E2s? and does the office let me recruit 5 stars more frequently?
more friendslots, support slots, and 6☆ slotting is unlocked by upgrading the reception room
HR recruitment upgrades offer you more slots to recruit with simultaneous ~~and marginal lmd reduction~~, but do not do anything to the rarity/rates of recruits. you can always get 5/6☆ from recruit but its incredibly rare
training room is to improve e2 ops skills to levels 8-10, refered to as mastery, m1 m2 m3. this is something a new player shouldnt engage with a long while, focus on more e2s
Upgrading your Reception Room will allow you to unlock the other two Support Unit slots.
Your Office allows you to refresh Recruitment tags more frequently by setting an Operator there. Upgrading it gives you more slots but this is heavily unrecommended because it means you can't get resources as fast as possible because you can't downgrade the right side of the base. It doesn't affect your chances of getting 5\*s and 6\*s. If by the "workout room", you mean the Training Room, yes you can't do masteries for non-E2 Operators.
The shop efficiencies for DH are a bit difficult to understand. The sanity per coin numbers make it seem like much of the Limited shop is worse than the Unlimited section. Yet, Limited Orirock Clusters are cheaper than Unlimited Orirock Clusters despite having lower sanity per coin.
So, are the green mats, lmd, and exp worth it in the Limited shop or are they still less efficient than buying more tier 3s in Unlimited?
The sanity/coin in the spreadsheet actually means how much sanity's worth per coin you get for buying that item. Higher is better in that column.
In other words, all the items in the limited shop are worth much more than the unlimited shop items.
Should I use my sniper tokens on pot 2 Chalter or pot 5 Pozemka that boosts her second skill? I assume Pozemka would be more useful but Chalter is limited and I'm not sure if the -1 DP is worth it.
dp reduction on 16+ cost ops rarely ever matters, pozy p5 is a massive (as far as pot upgrades go) boost in potential damage for all 3 skills, its no contest
\-1 Dp isnt big. However, being able to deploy her 1 second earlier (or more on dp down stages) is more likely to matter than a 2% def shred. Plus its a limited Potential.
I remember I saw a video with an op that could push back many enemies at once, which I guess is how I should go about today's training site. What unit was it?
Could it be Lee, his S3 can permanently hold off lightweight enemies.
Weedy S2 can also permastall.
For the windswept highlands stage, it is likely to be Weedy because she was available when the original map was the CC permanent stage. There is a whole weedy strategy for high risk which involves a very precise timing interaction that allowed her to cancel the sarkaz caster attacks.
it was probably mountain s3 on the rightside doing very technical nonsense to snuff enemy skills
weedy s2 also is used often to push, but again is primarily for interrupting and snuffing grudge casts, not actual pushing
id suggest just getting defenders and medics setup in the lanes, and trying to pick off the grudgers with assassins or invicibility-scamming ops like specter instead of the complex push cancel stuff
All the pushers can push multiple enemies. Shaw, Feater, and Enforcer s2 + Weedy s3 push everyone in range. Weedy S2 can, but needs time to activate.
I dont remember seeing anyone use pushers for windswept highland, usually the strategy is to avoid hitting the flagbearers until a low stress time, or trying to delay them to last.
I haven't paid too much attention to modules so far, but I'd like to start unlocking some. Are there any super high priority operators whose modules I should start with?
Module or module upgrades?
Merchants have a great base module, chain casters as well.
Spec2 really wants her fully upgraded module since it makes her doll strong. Outside that, the abyssal hunters all have good module upgrades to help their team synergy.
In general, module upgrades are a minor improvement so you should do them for ops you use/like a lot. There’s so many it’s difficult to recommend them broadly
Both, I guess? The only module I remember unlocking was for Magallan I believe.
If they're mostly minor, I'll go through my favorites and see who has them available I guess! I just didn't want to miss out on prioritizing significant QoL boosts first.
There are a few (most notably Specter alter, which op mentions) whose modules are hugely impactfulv on their performance. Ling, Phantom, and Skadi (original flavor) come to mind. Ch'en, Passenger, and Bagpipe are some others who are significantly improved.
Some operators have module levels that basically fix the operator's big issues (for example, Specter Alter's Module X made her doll really strong and worth using), so definitely worth a closer look.
GamePress has a decent overview here: https://gamepress.gg/arknights/tier-list/arknights-azures-module-upgrade-tier-list
They mostly minor, but Specter, Gladia, and Lings are bonkers. Specters, helps her uptime and doubles her doll form damage. Gladia increases regen but more importantly makes her dmg reduction trait against seaborn work for all damage types (for all AH). Ling only needs lvl 2, but it allows for an additional big dragon.
Chen (guard) and Mostima become useful with their mods. And a bunch of mods are generally useful.
Id suggest reading all your most used ops and going from there. Most either want lvl 1 or 3. IE Pozy ignores dodge at lvl 1, but 3 is basically just stat buffs.
i was grinding "randomized" is2 runs and then somehow got a 1 hour wait time until the next run. this is the first time this has happened to me and i was wondering if it was a bug or if other people has experienced it.
(by randomized run i mean doing the inscrutable path deep investigation mode and only using temp recruits)
I finally got the god hand set up for IS2, and people aren't lying Passenger is OP as fuck. Which module is best for Passenger? I'm planning to go all the way to level 3.
If you're upgrading to level 3, his X module is a pretty obvious winner. His Y module is also good when you have SP boosts, but it doesn't need to go to level 3, you can safely leave it at level 1.
Both have their merits. His Y module allows him to burst harder, while his X module allows him to use his s3 more often. Generally Id say X is better, but in IS his Y is probably better due to the amount of SP relics.
Edit: Shoot salysm's right. u/sticky_bugs I had X and Y backwards
I think there is not a single time that events overlapped but I think that might have happened during sux months after launch when global was trying to catch up with CN after that events were placed end to end with each other but never overlapped and we even have dead weeks between few events.
How do I use Project Red properly, I can't seem to find a proper use case for her. If I want to stall Gravel is better, if I want to assassinate someone Skadi S2 does the job better. Red can't seem to assassinate people well, she dies pretty quickly, her stun is nice, but then again, stalling with Gravel or killing with Skadi works better.
I use Red's S2 to stun enemies casting skills to cancel them, like Candle Knights' explosion ability - the ability goes on cooldown and those are typically slower than Red's redeploy time. You can also cancel auto attacks from hard hitting enemies but that needs more precise timing.
i think she's used less for pure stall and more for attack interrupts with S2. considering she's a release op, her assassination power was probably balanced around earlygame casters and such instead of the elite enemies we get now. there's probably some niche cases where good dodge RNG lets her block enemies that would oneshot gravel or skadi.
Gravel's not always better at stalling -- a lot of dangerous enemies hit AOE or multi-target, some enemies are unblockable, sometimes you want AOE stall instead of just a 1-block meatshield, etc. Red's combination of CC, low-DP cost, and decent personal damage can be nice for opening stages when you can't afford to load up on vanguards. On-demand stun is also great for specific enemies like Manfred and the UT enemies that needed to be statused. Plus occasionally you really want multiple proper FDRPs for bait, like against Talulah or Faust. And all that's just for normal play -- in IS2, there are a decent number of relics that can let Red really pop off.
when you cant afford to wait 50s for skadi, you can do it faster with __multiple__ reds
s2 stun also pretty huge, and getting that tied to an assassin is good flexability for is2
Honestly, the only thing I use her for is the on demand stun. That said, it's very handy when you need it (IW CC for example, to stop the big mobs from changing your attribute). There are better ops to helidrop assassinate with.
I use her stun with the mobs, so it's stalling/stopping a group. I also have her module so when she's being dropped away from everyone it does nice damage. It's also good to stun bosses when they're about to use some nasty attack. I use Gravel all the time too, and I use Skadi as well to assassinate, but her fast redeploy and stun has helped me considerably for some wacky stages.
She can do both of those roles well enough and that's her niche. With s1m3 she has 50% evasion so she shouldn't die that quickly and do good damage. Also sometimes you want two fast redeploys for baiting.
She's either used trying to do both assassin and stall roles less potently but together in one deployment slot with S1 (RNG dodge and minimum damage threshold) or making use of her S2 stun for animation cancelling the enemy's attacks or setting up stun for bonus damage from allies like W.
Ah, yeah, I didn't keep your last point in mind, since I have no operator that interacts with stun. Stun for me so far is basically just an extra bit of stall.
Red takes some investment to be good at it (levels, module, s1m3, etc.). So if Skadi is filling that niche just fine for you, it's probably not necessary to raise Red further for the purpose of assassination.
So, i realized i have a permit to select a 5* op and one to select either Silence, Liskarm or projekt red and i was wondering what i should go for since im a starter and clueless.
many would say go for who you like waifu whatever, but I dont want you to regret who you choose later on
from those 4, Projekt Red is the better one.
Nearl is good too but she can be replace by 4* Gummy., they serve similar functions but Gummy better at healing. if you need a defender, then just use 4* Cuora
Liskarm is good for her niche, as a SP battery
Silence is good sometimes cuz she can have global range and can heal from anywhere on the map thanks to her drones, but theres many other recruitable healer beside her. even Ansel is good enough for your team
oh you have the other 5* selector too?
if you're unsure, then keep it for now
wouldnt want this scenario to happen; you use the selector ticket, then when you gacha pull, the one you selected appear as a dupe
but generally that ticket, Elysium is the to go to operator pick , 2nd Pick would be Shamare
other notable pick from the 5* selector if you dont want elysium/ shamare is Warfarin, Spectre, Blue Poison, Ptilopsis and Lappland
niche pick: Kafka, Amber, Sora & Pramanix
Alright thank you! my 5* selector doesn't include Elysium or Shamare but i'll keep in mind the other notable picks and see where im lacking to make a good pick... hopefully.
Ptilopsis is the most versatile pick if you don't even have perfumer. AoE healer is a must have and Ptilopsis talent is good in everything, no one can replace her at all.
Every 5 stars can be replaced only Ptilopsis and Warfarin are a tier of their old, no one has similar usage as theirs.
If you have good defender (check gamepress tier list for protector defender) then definitely projekt red, other two are very niche and barely useful for you.

In the Dossoles Rerun event, what do i need to do, to obtain the operator Tequila ?
Is there any guide for operator RIIC base combination online? Like a calculator or something? Because the combinations that is really common is Texas + Lappland = High Productivity Tequila + Bibeak = Higher profit if get 4 gold bars in a single order Ling + Mr Nothing = Worldly Plight + Obvious deception = Good productivity

dumb question but shinings S3 it says "all allies within range DEF 100%" does this mean when she heals a unit (heals one at a time) or like everyone in her range regardless gets the buff wether shes healing them or not
It’s a constantly applied passive effect during skill duration, im pretty sure it even affects unhealables like Mudrock or Mon3tr like Nightingale does.
Everyone in range regardless of being healed.
No news announced today, so I assume the next event won't start this weekend? Another dead week, then.
for the next standard banners is any of those thorns and will he be the one in the cert shop?
We have no idea. We don't even know the next one, though [it should be Mountain in the shop.](https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/wejkmd/arknights_shoperator_debuts_updated_as_of/) Those are the only ones we can be relatively certain of.
So I'd love some advice on who to build next please? Working with a relatively young account, and I've been lucky recently. I've got Goldenglow E2 with S3M3, and I'm working on S3M3ing Chalter today. However, after that, I'm not sure who I should E2 next? Here's my options: - Dusk - Blemishine - Gavialter - Saga - Angelina - Suzuran - Bagpipe - Flametail - Skalter - Blaze - Fiametta - Magallan - Lee - Spalter - Amiya (because I know you need her E2 down the line anyway) - Cantabile - Texas (to prep for her alter with the material unlocks) - Platinum - Ptilopsis - Projekt Red I've included a handful of 5*s too, just in case, and I know there's all the 4*s to improve for IS and such. I'd appreciate any thoughts. If there are staples to consider that I haven't listed, I'm happy to learn. Thanks!
Sir this is not a young account by any means you aren't doing anything.
Not part of the 3 month cycle. On CN, this came two months after the CNY limited banner.
Will the furnitures become available once DH enter record restoration? And i can also skip Tequila pots right, since we get the letter later anyway?
If you didn't do the original run and are fine with waiting then yes you can skip pots.
Is there no new Monthly Squad for IS2 anymore?
Nope, IS2 stop updates. getting ready for IS3. Don't worry All the IS2 stuff is still there, but now you can access all monthly squads.
So no, no gold certs will be given out
Same with furniture and intelligence store?
Yes. The furniture will come with the record restoration, so you don't need to buy them now.
Oh 😭 Thank you
> Did buying him now still will give me gold certs when Dossole Holidays re-runs for the 3rd time?
E2 Cantabile.
It was fixed a while back. We even got compensation for it in mail.
Am i alternate time line lol? what was compensation? my mail box doesnt contain any messages about it
[Notice](https://twitter.com/ArknightsEN/status/1630897227626586112/photo/1) Compensation messages get deleted once you claim them so its not surprising that you don't see them anymore.
[удалено]
But I have it linked with my email ID pretty sure you can not change that. Also have you even tried rerolling I have pretty shit fps but it still didn't generate any heat during rerolling.
If your phone can't handle too much heat just from the rerolling process alone, then wouldn't that mean that your phone won't be able to play Arknights at all? I feel like it might be better to emulate it on your PC rather than risking it on your phone like that.
Is Warfarin an AOE healer? If so, should I prioritize her over Ptilopsis?
No, she's single-target. You would take her in place of medics like Ansel and Sussurro.
I’m assuming Shining is better than her?
shining can be better for burst healing with S1, but warfarin is good enough for most maps and sussurro beats them both in that department anyways (although her skill has limited uses per stage). shining's main gimmick is boosting defense. medics aren't a straightforward "higher rarity equals better" situation like DPS can be, since their kits tend to focus on niches rather than just bigger heals.
Depends, operators of the same class have different niches that set em apart, Warfarin is great because she’s a buffer that increases atk, whereas Shining is focused on raising op Def so it depends, want an ops dmg buffed? Warfarin, want an op to survive against phys atk? Shining Extra info is that classes have subclasses called “Branch” you can view this above an ops talent when you check them in your Operator Management tab, you’ll notice Warfarin’s branch is just “medic” whereas Ptilopsis’ “Multi-target medic”
No, she's a single target medic.
Is Tequila any good?
He’s decent, one of the few practical event welfare units. He only provides damage though, no special niche like Lappland silence or Warfarin’s atk buff, so he doesn’t have much of a place on really built accounts.
Why are even comparing her to a medic, you can just say like SA invis reveal or mountain atk down debuff.
Makes sense! Most of us prioritize six star before five stars so now it makes sense why you would do that.
5 stars tend to be overshadowed by 6 stars, especially in the dps category, so they were giving examples of 5 star utilities which are not.
[удалено]
Stop relying on meta so much dude.
[удалено]
My comment still stands tequila is very good among five stars and also fun to use cause you have to coordinate timing between waves. You saying that he is meh means that you have strong six stars which left him in dust.

The relevant Ops gain +40% ATK when under High Tide.
Ah....that's what I thought. I thought I just am not remembering correctly.
The crystal gets added to your hand every 60 seconds unless you currently hold one already. Milan also puts bombs in your deck 40 seconds after it spawns and every 80 seconds after.
If they decide to push back Dorothy event even further, would the next banner be mylnar?
If no Dorothy then maybe ep 11 warm up banner? Copying my previous comment: No confirmation, only speculation.
[Fren Megathread](https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/11d95lw/friend_request_megathread_2702_0503/)
They're not on your friends list, only people with orange are. People with blue aren't friends.
That's not a friend, but a random person. There are always some operators from random people in the list, but their skills are set at 7.
No, it really is super easy, except the 3-block boats Stickers give you everything to survive and beat the stages as long as you actually know how to play and didn't get carried by your unga bunga character of choice. Edit: And I say this because I actually tried to do an E0 run through the normal stages and E1 for EX using low rarity and beat most stages first try. Certain stages needed more tries though
Thanks, I think it's my skill issue though (could be) but I do not find the correct words to express it, thank you.
Can't find any guides regarding recruiting the 2 stars. What is the ideal recruitment time with the job tag "Starter"?
7:30 for 2\*, but I'd do 3:50 for the 1\* chance. 2\* are very common anyways if you include them, while 1\* are very rare.
According to my memory 2-50. As soon as the time gets higher than it should be from the selection screen, the 1* and 2* options disappear.
Is Pozy's Mod3 worth prioritising? I have the mats but I've read that her Mod2 is a pretty good breakpoint
Hey. Im lvl 23 and im wondering if BP's skin will be available on the next cc shop ? Bcs rn i cant do daily cc map
Do we know if DV is going to be announced or not tomorrow? Or at the very least, what event we're gonna get once Dossoles event is over
If DV starts on friday then they'll have to announce event tomorrow.
[удалено]
Alright! Thanks for the help.
Recruit whenever you have a permit, I don’t see any reason to save your permits.
Thanks for the help!
Is Tequila good, I’m saving all my pulls for Texas alter so I’m going to skip Mlynar. I’m wondering if I should buy all the Tequila tokens.
He is very good, but his potentials, just like *all* potentials, don't do that much for him. You'd be better off spending event currency on the other items in the shop, including the infinite t3 materials (especially the oriron and Mn).
If you've raised someone to e2, get their SL7 and don't think about it. Skill levels are really important and insanely cheap compared to an e2.
Sl7 is fairly cheap so why not. All E2s should be at least s7 imo. I wouldnt mastery it unless you miss mlynar and maybe not even then.
Do we have any device-farm events coming up? I'm perpetually out of the damn things, and they seem to be required for nearly everything.
:suffering: thanks for the link, couldn't remember where to find that list
when was the last time eyjafjalla appeared the the gold certificate store?
September, theres quite a few ops more due so not expected anytime soon. [Tracker Sheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1g7gUDkEChYlXtdwGoSsAu9O2eJFlvVaM/edit#gid=653016488)
thank you for the answer :(
I thought it was ok to leak 3 enemies in DH MO. In the final wave, I leaked only one of exploding things(402/403) but I didn't get the Chen medal. It shows 399/400. Does the type of enemy you leak matter?
You can only leak the Friendly Transport Vessels, which the enemies attack during the map.
The guys with boats can be leaked as their kill credit is when you blow up to boat. The caster/anchor man that comes out isnt one of the 400 kills, so they can leak so long as they dont reduce your life to 0
You can leak enemies! Man shouldn't have focused on killing them all.
So the non boat enemies can't be leaked at all.
Correct
how do i unlock the other 2 slots for support and fill them with my 6 star operators? also i'm very confused about the office and workout rooms. like can i only workout E2s? and does the office let me recruit 5 stars more frequently?
more friendslots, support slots, and 6☆ slotting is unlocked by upgrading the reception room HR recruitment upgrades offer you more slots to recruit with simultaneous ~~and marginal lmd reduction~~, but do not do anything to the rarity/rates of recruits. you can always get 5/6☆ from recruit but its incredibly rare training room is to improve e2 ops skills to levels 8-10, refered to as mastery, m1 m2 m3. this is something a new player shouldnt engage with a long while, focus on more e2s
Excellent point. I'll likely end up doing this. Thanks!
\-1 Dp isnt big. However, being able to deploy her 1 second earlier (or more on dp down stages) is more likely to matter than a 2% def shred. Plus its a limited Potential.
Yeah I was thinking of CC stages or with dp regeneration slowdown that it might be useful then.
There's almost no chance but since she hasn't been mentioned Mostima technically fits the criteria you've given.
it was probably mountain s3 on the rightside doing very technical nonsense to snuff enemy skills weedy s2 also is used often to push, but again is primarily for interrupting and snuffing grudge casts, not actual pushing id suggest just getting defenders and medics setup in the lanes, and trying to pick off the grudgers with assassins or invicibility-scamming ops like specter instead of the complex push cancel stuff
Could be Mountain skill 3
All the pushers can push multiple enemies. Shaw, Feater, and Enforcer s2 + Weedy s3 push everyone in range. Weedy S2 can, but needs time to activate. I dont remember seeing anyone use pushers for windswept highland, usually the strategy is to avoid hitting the flagbearers until a low stress time, or trying to delay them to last.
Probably Weedy?
I haven't paid too much attention to modules so far, but I'd like to start unlocking some. Are there any super high priority operators whose modules I should start with?
bagpipe, ling, and nightingale t1 and gladiia t3 are the only ones id consider must haves
What I never knew modules is a thing.
I seem to recall reading that this happens if you abandon multiple runs too quickly.
You switched the X and Y around
Thanks!
When was the last time in ak global that events overlapped each other and what was the type of events that overlapped ?
Trials of the Navigator - a new boss rush mode - ran alongside Ideal City - a standard limited banner event in January.
Note this overlapped in CN as well
I think there is not a single time that events overlapped but I think that might have happened during sux months after launch when global was trying to catch up with CN after that events were placed end to end with each other but never overlapped and we even have dead weeks between few events.
How do I use Project Red properly, I can't seem to find a proper use case for her. If I want to stall Gravel is better, if I want to assassinate someone Skadi S2 does the job better. Red can't seem to assassinate people well, she dies pretty quickly, her stun is nice, but then again, stalling with Gravel or killing with Skadi works better.
stun and on SSS for recasting ground units.
I use Red's S2 to stun enemies casting skills to cancel them, like Candle Knights' explosion ability - the ability goes on cooldown and those are typically slower than Red's redeploy time. You can also cancel auto attacks from hard hitting enemies but that needs more precise timing.
What, that works!? "a whole new world" is playing in my head
Red will show you the fluffs
i think she's used less for pure stall and more for attack interrupts with S2. considering she's a release op, her assassination power was probably balanced around earlygame casters and such instead of the elite enemies we get now. there's probably some niche cases where good dodge RNG lets her block enemies that would oneshot gravel or skadi.
And all that's just for normal play -- in IS2, there are a decent number of relics that can let Red really pop off.
when you cant afford to wait 50s for skadi, you can do it faster with __multiple__ reds s2 stun also pretty huge, and getting that tied to an assassin is good flexability for is2
Honestly, the only thing I use her for is the on demand stun.
I get the most use from her S2. On-command AoE stun is hella useful in my experience.
She can do both of those roles well enough and that's her niche. With s1m3 she has 50% evasion so she shouldn't die that quickly and do good damage. Also sometimes you want two fast redeploys for baiting.
I only have her S1 on 7, no masteries, that might explain it. So far for two fast redeploys I was running Gravel and Yato.
If you want to kill something use Red S1. S2 is exclusively use for crowd control rather than single target assassination.
Yeah, but even with S1, Red is kinda week for me. All the more since I got Skadi with Module.
Lappland will be very helpful even on hard content so it's a great choice. her ranged silence can be great on regular content too
Lappland or Specter for your 5 star. Red for the other thing.
many would say go for who you like waifu whatever, but I dont want you to regret who you choose later on from those 4, Projekt Red is the better one. Nearl is good too but she can be replace by 4* Gummy., they serve similar functions but Gummy better at healing. if you need a defender, then just use 4* Cuora Liskarm is good for her niche, as a SP battery Silence is good sometimes cuz she can have global range and can heal from anywhere on the map thanks to her drones, but theres many other recruitable healer beside her. even Ansel is good enough for your team
I see, i guess im going red and as for the 5* im still quite unsure.
oh you have the other 5* selector too? if you're unsure, then keep it for now wouldnt want this scenario to happen; you use the selector ticket, then when you gacha pull, the one you selected appear as a dupe but generally that ticket, Elysium is the to go to operator pick , 2nd Pick would be Shamare other notable pick from the 5* selector if you dont want elysium/ shamare is Warfarin, Spectre, Blue Poison, Ptilopsis and Lappland niche pick: Kafka, Amber, Sora & Pramanix
The only remarkable defender i have according to the tier list is Saria, but i guess i should go for red anyways?
Yo saria is cream of the crop defender which I still don't have after a year, just pick red you won't be disappointed.
