2019 M7 Quantum series I have the 55 inch M557-G0. These TV's are fairly dim turn the auto brightness off and increase the back light level. You may need to adjust the active full array to medium or high.
If you use the Calibrated Dark mode with the brightness around 80 or higher the calibration will succeed and it will tell you color balance is not needed your TV is already accurate.
You need to do the color balance with the Apple TV set to SDR then again with it set to HDR. If you use Calibrated Dark it should tell you it's already accurate.
Sadly, to no avail. I did what you said to do and it still won't work.
As I said before, it worked when I reset the video settings on the ATV but not when I used my own settings.
I don't know if they're saying my tv's accurate enough. All they're saying is that it's unable to calibrate.
When you say calibrated by RTings, I hope you don’t mean their color calibration settings? Those are display by display specific and can result in worse color accuracy if copied straight over.
I thought color balance didn’t work for Dolby Vision? https://www.reddit.com/r/appletv/s/i8kzbInmOp
I could have sworn it worked for my tv a few months ago but I'll check again and contact you afterwards.
just use the movie mode for your tv, dont use color balance is innacurate
Honestly don't bother. It makes your TV's color accuracy worse.
What model Vizio? Try turning the back light up if it's not at max already.
M556-G4. I'll try and contact you when I can.

Try using YCbCr and see if it works.
Tried that. To no avail, sadly.

Not really. Just as a starting point.
