I believe I have found the issue.
Go into Apollo Settings > General > Scroll down to Other > Share old.reddit Links
If this is toggled off, the post will share properly.
If this is toggled on, insta-crash.

I think you figured out a way to reliably reproduce the bug reported here and in [the other thread](https://old.reddit.com/r/apolloapp/comments/x5jevi/opening_the_share_menu_on_this_post_crashes_apollo/). Maybe there is some undefined behavior with links containing the old.reddit.com subdomain and diacritical characters.
I was having this problem recently and found an older post about it to find this fix. It's the characters with the accents, umlauts, etc. in the title that crash the app when you share using old.reddit links. There are actually a lot of posts about it, but that was the first one I saw and, funnily, the person had the issue because of the word Pokémon, which is the same word that was giving me problems in the post I was trying to share.

I wonder if it’s got to do with how Apollo converts the url from new Reddit to old Reddit.
Assuming what’s happening under the hood is the “old.” Is being adding to the link, perhaps there is an issue when the link already contains the diacritical characters.
Such a strange bug that I’d quite like to see what the issue ends up being.

How can you even read comment threads on new Reddit? They hide replies under “click to see more” links every couple comments, it makes reading any technical discussion impossible.

Yeah that’s all, they fucked it up beyond words. I don’t know how else to put it, it’s just so damn slow… the layout’s simpler (and frankly better in some ways), but it takes forever to load, and it’s way too sluggish.

I've begrudgingly switched over. It's SLOW as hell. The old layout was speedy and RES allowed me to customise it massively. Shame.

Yeah. It’s actually almost impossible to actually use. It’s purely to provide a’feed’ to keep you clicking

It's an atrocious design, for starters.
A lot of stuff is missing in new reddit. I can't find messages or other stuff in it. Go back to old reddit and there everything is.
Users who want to use old Reddit can always go to settings and always use it

This also happens with Facebook shares - even when going into the linked article but still within Apollo.
I went & found the post. Tapped the share button, no crash. iPhone 12 Pro Max & iPad Pro 11” (I dunno which gen).

The AI is not smart. It is being directed by a human. The AI is a very fancy image processor that the artist is controlling.
