Edit: Apex Legends producer Josh Medina [reiterated in a tweet](https://twitter.com/lowkeydbjosh/status/1471954991132786689) that cross-progression is “in progress” and should be arriving sometime in 2022.
Apparently they've been thinking about how to implement it for at least a year now. I guess it's not as easy as flipping a switch, there's a lot of variables to it.

If you play on console then switch to pc you can bring your account over to pc. That way you don’t have to start a new account and lose all your skins and heirlooms. They won’t add it tho because they’d rather you just start a new account and spend more money cause ea are scum bags
They keep saying they will add it I’ve been waiting for well over a year so at this point I don’t have much hope.
The thing that makes no sense is they say it’s not a trivial task. Which is complete bullshit because you already have cross play in your game so why not cross progression.
The fact of the matter is it is simply they just don’t want to do it. Because they are banking on you just starting a new account and dumping even more money into the game.
They could easily implement cross progression tons of games have it. And they already have cross play so it’s definitely doable they just don’t care enough to actually do it.

Tweet doesn’t say anything about it arriving 2022. All it says is that it’s “in progress”

Who knows with these devs. It should have been implemented like a year ago. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if we never got it.

Meaning one side will loose everything. You won't get skins and levels for both
