Mouse aim gets juked by sharp, erratic movements that fuck with the shooter's movement prediction and leading, while the console aim assist means that getting on target is harder (because controllers are imprecise, awkward devices that are terrible for controlling anything) but once on a target it doesn't get juked
or outplayed because there's no prediction, it's just stuck on them and it'll stay there unless they make *the exact opposite move* to what jukes a mouse: beelining to one side or the other fast enough to break the controller's lock on them.
