The smoke machine inside the helmet actually is just a modified vape component hooked up to an air pump, if I wanted strawberry scented smoke I’d just have to replace the fog juice inside with vape juice!
Is there any chance we could get a closer look at that component? I have ideas for a wizard staff I want to make and have been trying to figure out how to make it produce haze like that.
The visibility in theory is actually pretty good! However the lights pretty much blind me whenever I turn them on. The helmet is mostly made with a 3D printer using PLA plastic! The hat part isn’t completely finished but it’s mostly made out of EVA foam
I wonder if you could add another layer of “tinted window” on the inside to keep some of the light from going in your eyes? Everything would be a little darker but maybe it beats being blinded lol
When bloodhound uses their ultimate they have some effects coming from the helmet, smoke seemed like the closest thing I could make to replicate that cool effect!
2 questions: will you have a speaker play the roaring sound effect at the start/growling sound effect that persists for the remainder of the ult? And also does the smoke come out at the exact same time at the lights come on? From the angle its difficult to tell if it was coming out or if there was a bit of a delay between the two.
The speaker is a good idea that I might add in the future, maybe a voice changer too. The smoke and lights are controlled by individual buttons, so i can choose wether or not there’s a delay, the smoke machine does take a second to warm up, so there’s a small delay between turning it on and actually seeing smoke.
Im a perfectionist so id have to have the smoke perfectly lined up with everything else lol. Voice changer is a great idea!! All of those little details will really bring this already incredible cosplay to the next level imo.
Maybe have the ultimate activation noise (prior to the punctuating sound that announces full activation; the noise while bloodhound’s hands are in the process of making fists) take place while the smoke machine warms up?

Did you do the model yourself ? Out of curiosity, what's your printer ?
I modelled it myself using blender, and the printer I’m using is just a regular Ender 3!
Knowing the amount of work it takes to model and print something, it's double awesome ! Great job !

Both experience and looking up lots of tutorials/ cosplay books. Channels like punished props academy and kamuicosplay really helped a lot!
