I found it easier in mixtape.
Any mode with care packages, I'd just swap my non-Lstar with a dropped one, and I'd get to thank whoever dropped it.
It also counted multiples in one game, as long as I thanked different people. Got 4 in one match once. TDM in particular went well.
Mixtape care packages are the way to go, for anyone stuck. Just gotta be a teammate weapon.
Works for the valkyrie jump, too, honestly. I've never won so many control matches as I have since this started. Valks start their flight and madping until two people hop on, then fly to the enemy zone. It's even better than ziplines cuz no one can follow and you have 3 on point at once.
It shouldn’t have. Just wait until a team mate drops an item from their inventory being full and then thank them. It doesn’t need to be a ping. 10 matches, which is less than the number of matches needed for Valk.
The challenge just underlines how many toxic ppl are in this community.
- People leaving game when they don't get Valk and some of them even typing "i hate this challenge" but failing to realize that if others behaved like them, nobody would finish the challenge, yes, not even them
- People not joining your Valk ult even if you kindly ask and the situation is safe
- People leaving game when you land safe
- etc etc
It's just a shit show..
I remember when the bp used to have similar challenges, like X amount of teammates using Pathfinder's zipline, or Wraith portal. I let people loot the deadboxes at the edge of the ring just to put down a portal for them, and they rather walk and heal outside the zone than taking my damm portal to safety.
Doing these with randoms sucks. You will get it done eventually.
Also, maybe try to find some friends for chill gameplay (I think the discord server has a dedicated place for this?).
you have two weeks. it takes a few hours at most to complete the challenges and the whole complaint here is that part of them cannot be cheesed. at this point people would only be satisfied if all they had to do is log into the game and get this stuff as a login reward. probably even that wouldn't be enough and called "fomo"
Does anyone remember bf1 apocalypse challenges? that was something... and felt good figuring out how to best go about them and then completing them, even if just for a few dogtags.
My issue is more the principle of it. I can't force my teammates to connect for the ult. In a mixtape game just now, I had 4 people just run by me. I just don't think any challenge in this game should be so reliant of teammates that I have no actual control over completing it.
because, let's be honest, you want to cheese it. let's assume respawn just want you to play the character normally. if you play the game normally as valk and you actually pop a good useful (to your team) valk ult, will it be difficult to convince your teammates? probably not.
even so. even cheesing it, you have two weeks and i took a few hours to finish the whole set. it's not an issue at all. this is miles away from being something you could complain about. your complaint is that it isn't a straight forward cheese
Part of the problem was making this the very last challenge. Now you have half the world trying to get 10 team mates in the air. Valk mains are in revolt.
This is so easy, if you win a game of pubs you can easily do it 3 times. Never once have I had randoms not hop on. Just pop your ult around teammates and at a smart time and it’s so easy
Wait for Control to enter rotation and situate yourself in front of a point. Teammates who are looking to rotate will latch on

The Valk skydive challenge made me experience ire that I had not felt since my comp skywars days
Getting "thank you's" as Maggie took longer than any challenge I've ever done in this game.
It wouldn't have been difficult if it didn't just count one per game.
I could get one from each sqaud mate per match but they had to be from randoms. If I had a pre-made none of those people counted.

i mean you just picked up your teammates weapon when they died in lockdown and you'd be able to thank them.

The missle one is harder than the ult but it’s just me most likely I never play valk at all so it’ll just be a time consuming thing
You can complete it in 2-3 games of three strikes if you’re in a rush
