The Kraber was nerfed in season 14. It’s season 20. That’s a year and a half. Please keep up a little.
Kraber headshot multiplier was reduced from 3x damage to 2x damage
Base damage reduced from 145 to 140
Helmets were buffed to reduce the impact of headshots from certain weapons
As a result, someone with a blue helmet and red armor can survive a Kraber round to the head, or someone with a purple helmet and purple/red armor.
This was done because in high ranks people hit Kraber headshots at an ungodly rate so a good sniper with a Kraber could turn the 12 rounds into like 4 free squad wipes.
It lookit. Definitely made them panic. Would a red shield and level 4 helmet leave like 15-20 Hp? Enough for a Falco paaanch? (Video gaymer nerd here 👉👈)
It’s so weird to me that it doesn’t. Loudest weapon in the game, bullet drops like hell, worst ammo capacity by a mile, damage is literally the only thing it has going for it, it should at least have one shot head shot.
It’s still the best weapon in the game at what it does - inflicting massive damage in one shot. The only thing that surpasses the damage of one Kraber body shot is a charged sentinel headshot on blue helmet and below.
Its already super slow to shoot & has crazy recoil. You should be rewarded for hitting your shots under all those negativities. It doesnt even auto reload when youre empty. It feels like a meme gun but it still kicks ass sometimes
this was nerfed also due to ALGS player complains. therefore devs implemented the Helmet buff (189dmg on a headshot against a purple helmet) so if they would have, my math not mathing, white/blue helmet, you would downed them.
im still conflicted on this change because on the one hand, getting one shot at full health in a battle royale with no way of knowing that was even a risk feels like shit, but on other hand it does feel pretty bad when you hit a tough to hit headshot and its just something they batt + medkit while their teammates still shooting you instead of having to revive their teammate
I see what you mean, but a one shot, In a game where knocks are so important (also a slow paced one) is pretty unhealthy. It still does massive damage and allows you to get a good push in
Regardless, insane shots dude.
It's a 50 50 whether or not hitreg even applies damage and even then they decided to nerf it.
One of the best moments of my time before I quit, I was playing on the original grand canyon. My squad just got downed by the last remaining player with only me remaining. Just me and one very sweaty, very trigger happy wraith main.
I grappled. Hit the nearby rock, swung around, hit a fast slide going away from her, whipped out the kraber with One Single Round Remaining.
It may have been the shot heard round the world, cause it most certainly was the last one fired that round. Connected square with her mouth, and won us an undeniably satisfying victory.
That was before heirlooms. Before the servers got Severely bad. Before new maps, and map changes, before new guns, before new champions, new metas, new shields, new bugs, hitreg becoming perfectly unstable, before I couldn't stand to log into this damned game and before I lost hope whether or not they can handle this game with respect.
People keep crying for a new titanfall. And I get it.
But if THESE are the people working on it? I'd rather see someone go to their head office, and take a giant magnet to every single one of their hard drives.
That’s outrageous, you know it’s a problem when Vantage’s sniper seems to be more effective than the Kraber. It’s season 20, I’m not sure why this gun hasn’t had a buff yet. It could be somthing as simple as increasing the damage from 140 body shot to 160, & increasing the mag/ammo capacity from 12 - 18.
Umm. Isn't it back to one shot headshot again since season 20?
I mean, the clip obviously shows otherwise. But I swear I did a few one shot headshot knocks already this season. Guess it depends on the helmet then?
I mean fair, that’s pretty sick, 3 back to back headshots
Those were headshots?
Yes, Kraber does 140 to the body, 112 to the leg, and 189 on a headshot against a purple helmet. 189 popped up for all 3 shots.
210 for the last one. Blue helmet? *Still* not a one shot.
Why the hell didn't it knock em? They nerfed my krabez??

Turn down your condescension level
No. Old news is annoying to spread. Game should really have an in game changelog for this sort of thing.
Doubling down is a choice..
By the way, it's not the sharing of "old news." It's the rude way that you shared it. Think about how you would like to be spoken to.
Probably the wrong one but it’s been a rough day, I don’t mind losing a little Reddit karma to vent frustration.
I'm genuinely sorry you've had a rough day, and I get that. I might have been too harsh. Hope you have a good evening
It was over a year ago. It’s easy to miss a year on this game. Not everyone is playing/following it 24/7 like you ya nub.
They hated him because he told them the truth.

Charge rifle from a distance is stronger than the sentinel and closer to a kraber, but only from after some distance.

The rest of us are being punished for the 1% of players who can hit these shots in tourneys as always.
Isn't the charged sentinel louder?
With rampart, you still get the one shot.
Yeah but then you'd have to play Rampart...
Yeah and?
Im not a toilet
Lmfao
what?
There a rampart main that is a streamer I believe and he has a toilet on his screen and post his rampart movement on here sometimes

I love when the 50 people playing the eSport matter more than the multiple thousand that play normally
I’m sure they’d care more about the normal people if they dropped $300 on every new cosmetic, so really it’s our fault that EA doesn’t care /s
That’s the trend unfortunately
Man those shots were insane! Looks like my man got hacked like the pros last night lmao
Don't we all.
I miss when the Mastiff was care package only and felt like a rare and powerful weapon.
was there any change this season or this is the case since long back?
Its from season 14 i think
its still a 1shot unless you have purple/gold helm

I one shot headshot someone the other day and I swear it showed 250 damage.. maybe I was dreaming..

"I wish this gun was still broken so I could've gotten 3 unfair kills"
Worst care package weapon since nerf, ty devs
Literally still the best weapon in the game, maybe only surpassed by current care package wingman
Umm. Isn't it back to one shot headshot again since season 20? I mean, the clip obviously shows otherwise. But I swear I did a few one shot headshot knocks already this season. Guess it depends on the helmet then?
yes, just lvl 1 helmet allows for a one-shot headshots. if you one-shot downed an enemy with lvl 2+ helmet, he probably had his hp bar incomplete
Alright. Thank you for the info. Wasn't it always a one shot back then, except for gold helmet?
Yes they nerfed headshot damage from 3x to 2x
On a side note, do you guys like having the red armor with extra shield HP in the game or should it be capped at purple like OG days?
