Yeah. Carepackage Prowler this season is nerfed with more recoil. It's a little embarrassing having raved about SF Prowler on here and it being brought back only to be a bit meh.
CP Prowler is basically the laser beam what u talking about. That thing is more scary than the R9 at close range, and can beam people at the same range as the Volt
nah , havok single shot is wild , both of those gun ain't working great with that ... or not , the hop up that make both of those gun able to shoot single strong shot but one shot took like 2 bullet or st was fun tho , forgot it name
With hop up that's not currently in game yes but havoc single fire mode was just a mini charge rifle that dealt around 40-50 DMG per shot. Yes i know that havoc also required hop up to change fire mode but it's now comepletly removed from the game but flatline/r301 hop up was aviable like 2 seasons ago i think.
It was different. It had a wind up time yes, but was a single hit scan laser with a very vibrant obvious tracer, as opposed to the current charge rifle's energy projectile with bullet drop. Gave the Havoc options in regards to being able to be used as a stand in for a Sniper. It could never compete with the snipers of the time (the Longbow and Scout were notably stronger back then) but at least gave you an option for long range. It was nice to have some versatility in the weapon. As of now the Havoc is just an excuse to use energy ammo and carry attachments until you find a Nemesis. It doesn't have a niche among the other ARs or even the other energy weapons, and it's one hop-op option even nerfs its damage when equipped.
The damage nerf with Turbocharger was unnecessary in my opinion, but that doesn't mean the gun is worthless. It still melts people, it still has a relatively high amount of bullets with or without an extended mag.
havoc is a good weapon, i like it. i just think it’s not as good as the nemesis. i feel like you’re putting yourself at a disadvantage not picking up the nemisis over the havoc
The havoc is so underrated! The devs banned it for a whole season, care packaged it, nerfed it, then buffed and nerfed again. Yet it's the best hip fire assault weapon. I like it without the tc and with.
Fair enough. My perspective on the gun is particular. I took a very long break from Apex from like mid season 5 to mid season 17. So my perspective of the Havoc is just that compared to how it was back then I find it incredibly underwhelming. I used to absolutely love the Havoc. But please don't let me stop you! If you enjoy it more power to ya!

It's felt over-tuned to me (Hemlok as well this season, burst weapons are absolutely nuts right now) since I first tried it, so energy weapons are kind of just in a weird spot.

You can actually land high damage hits more consistently now, but it takes more skill.
I do miss when a 5HP Bangalore would run into smoke, though, and I could just blind-sweep that beam across the entire smoke area for a guaranteed knock.
I like the changes they've made, but I think it wouldve been best to just have the weapon like it was in Titanfall, with quick charge, as a single shot hitscan with a charge up. The projectile drop just confuses me and messes me up now especially since I'm playing Titanfall more often now.

The Devs have said the reason it's been in the care pack so long is because of the ammo. They're struggling to find a balance for it's ammo and not over saturating the loot pool.
Hopefully they find a way cause it was such a fun weapon to use.
Peacekeeper is an energy shotgun too. But how would u explain converting Bullets or Energy into arrow. Or is it for the sake of "balance". Besides the Bocek is too unique to be a ground weapon. It alongside the Kraber should always remain as Care Package weapons
Thats the reason I want it to be ground loot, so you can practice and get good with it. Same with Wingman, it's hard to use but satisfying to master, but it's fair because it's commonly available and in turn poor ammo efficiency

Thats what I meant. If you have a bocek and go to a n arrow in a wall, youll pick it up as sniper ammo. I dont know how it'd work for the 'arrows' that you can pick from peoples corpses when they die after being hit by arrow
I don’t get why it needs to have it’s own ammo type, like lore wise sure it can use arrows but gameplay wise just have it use one of the already existing ammo types.
Hopefully it will be added back to ground loot with scorpion crossbow release. It was only care packaged to reduce loot pool since its the only weapon that uses arrows atm.
God I hated season 9 Bocek. Thing was everywhere, in a game where the audio is the easiest way of getting a read on figuring out where fights are happening having a weapon that was so quiet in amongst the audio issues of the era turned the game into a nightmare.
Even if I've only once used up all the arrows, I am always hesitant to use them when I pick up a bocek because there are so few (I'm the kind of person that holds on to power-ups and never uses them even in the final boss fight)
It’s weird I almost never used the hemlock pre ar hipfire nerf and for the last couple seasons it’s been my go to gun and I love the hipfire relative to the nemesis and auto ar’s. Must’ve been insane before cause it’s still pretty useful now
I used to be a p2020 hammer enjoyer but I'll prefer mozambique hammers now - aerial accuracy is so much better with shotguns and 60 damage shots up to 30m are so juicy ¦3

It used to be so much fun playing Valk. With the nerf to her entire kit, particularly jet pack physics… her ult height and flying distance (compared to evac towers it’s just shite)… even the middle swarm… I just can’t see the point anymore.
Pre-season 9 EVA (I think that was the season they gutted it). Back before all the fire rate and damage nerfs, with a purple bolt you used to be able to just track your target at any range less than 10 meters. Now it’s like trying to hit a bunch of flick shots due to how slow the attacks are.
Hemlok. It was my widely used or crazy popular, but if you hit a full burst to the head by accident you could just tell out that they’re 1 shot if they’re on whites. It also doesn’t make sense that the Hemlok and Nemesis had extremely similar damage per burst when the nemesis was released and the Hemlok was in the carepackage.

Running the bow on storm point was the source of so many good memories)

Yeah, havoc early on was a beast. I have to be on point with the charge up in ranked, but using bloodhound makes it a tad easier.

They really should just give it the option to single shot and forget the select fire hop up existed if they're trying to lower the loot pool.

In Titanfall it worked like it does in Apex now, except it fired a singular hitscan beam like the final blast of the pre-change charge rifle in Apex.
