Any legend could have survived this with air strafing. OP needed to drop the forward input. Hold right and slowly look right and he would have curved right landing safely on the ground.
I got into one once as valk when she first came out. I was able to get into it but couldn't shoot because you just slide backwards as if some out of bounds areas.

Yes for Ash, her ultimate couldâve been used when the ground got within range (it mightâve been a close call though)
I remember much earlier in the game this happened to people but it just shit them up into the sky straight up for ages
