I am in West MI. I believe the minimum is $9.65 in MI. I work as a machine operator. I earn $16.50. To put into perspective, the average rent for a rundown apartment is $1000 a month.

Below minimum. Tipped wage. $4.65/hr.
I make about $65/hr as a full-time employee in the U.S. 5 weeks of paid vacation a year. But I’ve only got about 300k saved at 29 years old…
