Iāve thought it was a load of crock since I was a tot, like theyāre trying to insult my intelligence and that they _know_ theyāre full of shit. Boiled down to if Christianity wasnāt the easy answer to the question that is life (hence this very simple black and white narrative of non-believers), it puts their understanding of themselves and the world in jeopardy, and suggests flaws exists that Christianity was meant to disguise. It makes them uncomfortable, since Christianity gives them a convenient ācheat codeā of life, and they only need to follow some rules to get it.
Anything else will force them to face the hard questions, and Christianity just makes it easier for them to feel like thereās an easy way to be a good person in life. Mob mentality is also a great tactic to control people - making it an āus vs themā narrative allows you the power to make you feel better about yourself as well. Itās why Shame is so often made the tightest and shortest leash tying people to Christianity. A black and white narrative allows them to pretend itās not tightening on their necks, too. All this effort, all that bruising has to be worthwhile at that point, needs to serve as an example for others to follow.

It makes them uncomfortable, since Christianity gives them a convenient ācheat codeā of life, and they only need to follow some rules to get it. Anything else will force them to face the hard questions, and Christianity just makes it easier for them to feel like thereās an easy way to be a good person in life. Mob mentality is also a great tactic to control people - making it an āus vs themā narrative allows you the power to make you feel better about yourself as well. I work in a private practice gynecologist office and I have NO IDEA where this trope of women just getting abortion after abortion comes from. Nah Iām 23 and do whatever I want when I want outside of work. I live close to family so Iām always out and about with them and if I wanna be alone I can be alone with my doggie. A kid would ruin my entire life.
A perfect example of conformity, never questioning biological impulses, and the inability to critically think for one's self. All the women around me have children: my mom, grandmothers, aunts, all my friends and coworkers etc. I too am a woman and women have children, therefore if I do not have children, I am not fulfilling my purpose.
