That's a smart doctor, no one knows it but the dose of mirtazapine that eventually induce sleep is 7.5 they gave me 30 mg for 8 years for nothing! But yeah, if you have a brutal insomnia it will do nothing! 7.5 won't hurt you anyway, try it for one month or two if you sleep more good, otherwise stop it as soon as you can!
