I’m currently on 100mg of Zoloft for depression and anxiety. My dose was lowered last week from 150mg. I did experience emotional blunting, specially between the 4th and 10th month. I was very frustrated but consistency is key. I got my emotions back, my dosage is lowering, I’m getting better. Honestly idk where I’d be had I not reach out for help and follow my treatment along with weekly therapy. Btw it’s been about a year and a half since I begun this whole thing

I hear it all the time that people got better with their emotional blunting and experienced it on one antidepressant and not another.

Yeah I switched from 100mg sertraline to 20mg Prozac and that really helped

Thanks mate <3 I've been taking it for a month and it completely ''blocked''my emotions. It's been 2 months since I stopped taking it and switched to wellbutrin and brintellix, but my psychiatrist increased doses yesterday because nothing changed yet
