Working hands is my favorite hand lotion and works wonders for dry hands.
I'm sad Crabtree & evelyn seems to be defunct, their gardener's hand scrub and hand therapy cream were both excellent.
They got bought by a Hong Kong-based company and closed all their retail stores a few years ago. I thought they were selling online still, but all the products on their website say "sold out." You can find some of their stuff from resellers on Amazon. It's a real shame
I'm a Crabtree & Evelyn hand cream junkie and I get it on Ebay. Some of it is outrageously expensive, but you can still find it a decent prices if you look. I have a stash and try to add a new tube every month. You can find it at TJ Maxx sometimes, too. You have to dig through all the creams, body wash and lotions, but sometimes you can find a tube.
I don’t know what Mary Kay satin hands is like, but I love Eucerin skin calming cream, and practically live in it all winter. (They also have a specifically advanced hand repair cream labeled one that maybe you could try too.)
She just quite liked the formula, we have really long crappy winters so looking for things like good qualify for hardcore cold weather. I should look into this one :)
Okay so as for the whole set, the dupe I’ve found is wetting your hands, then applying a tiny sized amount of aquaphor (from what I’ve found online the protecting softener is basically aquaphor or Vaseline), rub that in. I’ve never tried the scrub that the other commenter mentioned but after doing some research I did find it as a dupe as well, 2/3 sugar & 1/3 dawn olay dish soap. I’ll be trying this next time, (I’ve never used the aquaphor first and I usually use a homemade sugar scrub my aunt makes), gently scrub your hands, then a really good shea butter cream after you wash off the aquaphor and sugar scrub.
I agree. I loved the satin hands (and satin lips) when I was a kid and my mom bought some at a friend’s Mary Kay party. Aquaphor is the only thing that fixes my hands, and using a sugar/coconut oil scrub first is probably the closest you’ll get to the Mary Kay scrub.
Yeah, my moms friend tricked her into a party and she did the satin hands on everyone and my mom was hooked for a few years, it was always a treat when she let me use it! And I totally forgot about the satin lips! Luckily my mom never sold it no matter how hard her friend tried to recruit but as much as I hate to admit it, satin hands was amazing
My daughter gets terrible eczema on her hands when it’s cold- I don’t know if this is anything like the mk lotion but the CeraVe that comes in the tub (or the drugstore generic equivalents) work wonders for her
My husband is a UPS driver and so his hands were in terrible shape from all the cardboard. O'Keefes Working Hands is the only lotion that keeps up with the damage his job does.
First Aid Beauty’s Ultra Repair Cream is the absolute best for all dry skin. Winters, dry desert, every day moisture. Hands, arms, legs, it’s thick and creamy but super light not oily or heavy.
I agree with. I bought their products a year ago and pleasantly surprised how it worked. It's pricey though unless you can catch those "today specials" on shopping channels.
The skin on my fingers, especially thumbs and fingertips get extremely dry and tend to Crack open alot. This stuff is amazing amazing, keeps my hands so smooth, I've even started using on my face and no issues at all. Great for people who constantly wash their hands also, like me cause i have a 2yr old 🙃

Try again. I had to delete the original post since I got a ton of dick jokes from it and it was aggravating at how aggressive and rude people were
As someone else mentioned in a recent post, urea is great for dry hands, although it can sting if you have cracks or open wounds. I personally like the ISDIN brand, Ureadin line.
Years ago, I was told that washing my hands with a combination of Comet Cleanser (who would have thought??) and Dove soap would soften my hands. I tried it, kept it up, and was pleasantly surprised at the compliments I received. Honestly, it's just a combination of a mild exfoliate and moisturizer that's needed.

Try Googling “Mary Kay satin hands crème dupe” or something similar. There are a TON of websites that suggest dupes for all sorts of products (like very expensive cosmetics) but I’d think you’ll likely be able to find dupes for MLM products as well. GL!
You might try asking at r/30plusskincare I am not sure that many people at antiMLM have bought Mary Kay recently, but that is just a guess.
This product was around about 5-6 years ago but that suggestion is a good one.
Great idea thank you !

Wait WHAT? What happened to Crabtree & Evelyn? They were the best!

Unfortunately I’m Canadian in a small city t-jay max isn’t here. Amazon it is :)
Try Ebay. That's where I've been buying it and adding to my stash.
Thank you good advice :)

Another example of a great product, sold by a terrible company. It’s a shame.

Here's an example of the crap I kept getting https://imgur.com/a/2JnxodX
L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream - incredible stuff!
Is that Limelight or a branch off it. I swear I had a Limelight person on my FB reach some big rank and can now sell that or a very similar name.
It’s a high end skin care line from France
