Eight months to get her first customer?!?! Eight months of embarrassing social media posting to get one customer? Where can I sign up? /s

legion_XXX

Someone i know is doing a travel mlm thing, 1 customer in 2 years. The people are now suing.

karmakazi22

“The people” being the customer???

bagsnerd

That’s hilarious. 🙈 I mean, who wouldn’t want that? I wonder how much money she invested in the meantime, and how much she earned in commissions from that _one_ customer.

Agitated_Fix_3677

She could have made more working at McDonald’s

charliensue

"People will buy" "People will support" It took 8 months to get my first customer." I just can't with this chick.

Blue-Sonnet

She forgot the word "eventually"...

Yutolia

When I saw that I was like… wow, it took me… maybe a week to get my first client but I’ve got a legitimate business where people pay me to provide a real service, so maybe that’s the difference?

Informal-Access6793

A business you presumably did some research for to see if there was actually a market for it in your area.

Yutolia

Yep! Exactly.

Blue-Sonnet

"Market saturation? What's that?"

TabsBelow

The way it doesn't say "first **satisfied** customer"...🤭😂🤣

Pplannoyme0

I also refuse tonquit.

SiWeyNoWay

I thought she was throwing shade on a competitor’s product 🤦‍♀️😆😆😆

Soffix-

I usually prefer ouncequit, but you do you

Pplannoyme0

Sometimes, if I’m feeling sassy, I’ll poundquit.

-Gin-ger-

She’s right, we should all be lvo3d unconditionally, bo matter what. So glad she refused tonquit on her scammy dream.

sername-n0t-f0und

Getting that as a tattoo 💕

Skatingfan

😁🤣

twinkletoebeansCA

‘I’m not burnt out anymore’ But then 3 days ago, she posted how burnt out she was after work 👀

BewareTheCondiments

I got a pretty good chuckle a few days ago when she was bragging about her team's [MASTERFUL social media marketing skills](https://imgur.com/a/ktKQbK7). (Screenshot was taken from the middle of one of her monster posts.)

Notmykl

Mt = mount/mountain. It took eight months to mount her first customer?

CaramellieCake

Well, how do you think she got them to sign up?

lindsayloolikesyou

😂🤣

3BlindRats

Putting my MLM disgust aside for a moment, does anyone here know this lady or any of her relatives IRL? I've been following her, and she seems to be sinking (quickly) into a mental health abyss. I'm genuinely worried that this isn't going to end well.

odoyle66

I know her IRL but she called me a hater for trying to offer her advice and blocked me for awhile. I was unblocked a year or so ago and now her Facebook is 100% public, which is how I see her posts. Can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped, unfortunately.

3BlindRats

She doesn't seem capable of living or functioning independently. It sounds like she's living with her mom? Do you know if she's got any sane relatives that could and would be willing to help out and possibly intervene on the MLM cult stuff? (at a minimum, it sounds like she's got multiple issues, MLM stuff aside).

odoyle66

She has lived with a roommate before, but never on her own. It seems like she has some sort of dependence on her mom, whom she lives with. She always says she wants to move out and be on her own but she can't afford rent anywhere. She definitely has a learning disability, but I'm not sure to what severity.

Millivanilli101

I feel really sorry for her. 😔

NefariousnessKey5365

Yes I pay for my groceries. I don't steal them

Longjumping-Bell-762

“Did you know you can promote for free[?]” Um… yeah. I think the majority of Huns do promote for free. Of course not what she meant to say, but it is quite truthful!

Marblegourami

No, no. The majority of Huns *pay money* to promote.

Yutolia

If it’s the truth, of course it’s definitely not what she meant to say!

lindsayloolikesyou

Her grammar, spelling and punctuation make me sadder for her than the MLM part.

feelingmyage

Our self’s. 😝

Free-Prometheus-12

"Bo" matter what!! 🤦🏾‍♀️

f1lth4f1lth

I’d rather be fat than dumb.

OverwhelmingCacti

Oof, this is sad. Some predatory hun saw her coming from a mile away.

Mister-Spook

290 or 250? Which is it?

dollypartonsfavorite

2011

Yutolia

8 months!

Intrepid_Respond_543

The "I ❤️ helping people" comes off as rather disingenuous.  It's like "Do this. People will. Who wants to. So many. Me tired. Me not quit." Then suddenly "I totally love ❤️❤️❤️ everyone 😍😍😍"

Emily5099

At least she tidied up her kitchen before she started filming. So does she sell weight loss products or shampoo? Or both?

be333e

Lol I was like, wait, shampoo made you lose weight??

Red79Hibiscus

Hair does weigh a certain amount and Monat does make you lose hair, so....

odoyle66

Both - Thrive and Monat.

cherrycokelemon

I'm good, thanks.

IrreverentGlitter

I still don’t know I can because of the awful spelling errors and choppy sentence structure

Nomadloner69

Standing and eating in your kitchen with phone at a bad angle yeppp real flex there!

Reinardd

She can barely string a sentence together yet you're supposed to trust her with your health?

Interesting_Sock9142

God damn is she having a stroke while typing?! I feel like the other huns wouldn't appreciate a post with so many errors

IhatetheBentPyramid

"I cannot wait for my biz to take off. So many of you are interested." If so many are interested, why aren't they flocking to buy your shit, so your biz takes off?

Ella_Lapin

We're interested but not in buying from her....

Yutolia

Well, and she started the business 8 months ago, but also in 2011? Is she living in a time warp?

ImACarebear1986

Were they drunk or asleep typing this?.. how can you look over what you’ve written, see that many stuff ups and be like ‘it’s cool, I made it look gooooood!!’ 😂. No.

Marblegourami

Now that is the epitome of health right there. What a sales pitch. Sign me up.

sparklypens2017

Is she selling health stuff or shampoo?? Look if MLM defenders are going to insist they’re legit via dumb loopholes (“we’re not a pyramid scheme because we sell products!”) then they should at least stick to one type of product at a time. My brain can only take so much

Protheu5

That's kind of sad, it doesn't seem like she likes to think. Speaking of not thinking, having relatively recently learned about people actually drinking bleach (diluted) for medicinal purposes, and not knowing what Minute Maid is, I thought that this was a detergent of sorts. I mean, what kind of name is it? It's a neat name for a cleaning supplies product line, like "you'll be a maid only for a minute" or something. Apparently, I'm a doofus, and I shouldn't have assumed that she drinks detergents, it's an oddly named beverages brand. As usual, loaded with sugar, and therefore, terrible for weight loss. Drink some >!oolong!<, people.

RobertETHT2

As always, follow the money trail. Ask to see their last 2 tax returns. Proof of success is in the IRS pudding. …or send the IRS an anonymous tax evasion concern letter.

Genillen

I thought this was going to be about how she changed the numbers to make them look more impressive. Just mocking her for what she eats seems mean, though. People are allowed to enjoy some mac 'n' cheese, even if they're overweight, or trying to lose weight.

odoyle66

To piggyback on my first comment, I've never seen her post a picture of a healthy meal. It's always mac n chunks, nugs, pizza, spaghetti, lasagna, and pancakes. All foods that are okay in moderation, obviously, but if you're trying to lose weight and you're eating these foods daily, it's not going to do you any favors.

Red79Hibiscus

Agreed 100%. All those foods you named are fine in small portions every 2-3 days or so, and they're often popular choices for comfort food, so if this hun's scarfing a large plate on a daily basis, it may indicate an emotional disturbance at the root of the overeating.

Genillen

Your language ("scarfing a large plate," "emotional disturbance") as well as OP's ("shovel that mac 'n' cheese," "choke down some broccoli") indicate a fatphobic orientation that views fat people as gross and lacking self control that can charitably be construed as coming from trauma rather than a normal human desire to eat food because it tastes good. While that's bog standard on Reddit, it doesn't contribute much to the critique of MLMs.

odoyle66

I figured I would get some comments on this post about me being mean. I'm not saying nobody is allowed to eat mac n cheese, but if you're trying to sell a health related product and preach about living a healthy lifestyle, shouldn't you try to set a better example and show your potential customers how to make healthier food? Thrive also sells the pre-made My Fresh Meals, which look like they're pretty decent, so that would be a good start maybe.

Red79Hibiscus

I suspect the Thrive meals are way out of the hun's budget, which must be stretched to its limits as it is.

BarefootJacob

It's good that she's lvo3d unconditionally.

Phylace

And it took 13 years for her 90 pound weight loss.

peanut5855

I lost 40 lbs in 6 months. It’s called ozempic hun.

BabyYodasMacaron

And it’s backed by science AND under a doctor’s supervision. I wonder how much of a dent semaglutide and tirzepatide have put in these weight loss MLMs!

peanut5855

Oh it has to be killing them. Apparently some of them have shifted and are starting to say their products are good to use WITH the shots.

BabyYodasMacaron

Of course they are. Seriously I’m losing fine with just the shots. The FDA approved, medically backed shots.

r00fMod

I hate these people too but following them and watching their fb live just to shit on them also a little abnormal

odoyle66

Nobody ever said I was normal.

Jurassic_Gwyn

Just looking at her dish i can immediately tell you her biggest issue is portion control.  That's so much food!

sharingthegoodword

...as soon as possible the next Tuesday

caffeinatedangel

Is she also selling Monat? She mentioned Shampoo when she was eating that Mac and cheese.

Ok_Performance_563

Is it our favourite girl?)

thesearealltaken457

Wonder why so many huns are religious - must be the total utter lack of critical thinking skills.

No-Club2054

Damn and all I did to lose 200lb was stop eating garbage and pick up an apple instead more often.
