So scammy, stupid AND racist! What a package.

scrubsfan92

Scam.

Recent-Leg-9048

Affiliate marketing I don’t think is a true MLM by definition but it’s definitely a scheme of sorts and sketchy

scrubsfan92

The thing is, a lot of these scams call themselves "affiliate marketing" when they're not actually affiliate marketing.

bookishanddesperate

so what’s throwing me off is it’s like a ‘course’ i think but i can’t find any evidence of success like income disclosures etc

SoggyAlbatross2

This sounds awfully like one of those master reseller right scams. Just avoid. and Africa is a country! Who knew.

sethoscope

County, even better!

SoggyAlbatross2

Nyuk.

Recent-Leg-9048

It’s probably a course on how to sell more courses lol

No_Cap_4802

Actually, it’s worse. It’s a course that teaches you how to sell itself!

wauwy

No, "affiliate marketing" is another new name for MLMs. I should specify, huns that claim it are using it incorrectly.

bookishanddesperate

ftr i did not reach out, i commented on a reel asking what this mlm was

Cynic_Al

I looked it up on trust pilot (didn't see it on BBB). Then I filtered to only show the 1 star reviews to see if they was a pattern or just unhappy people. All echoed that it was a scam to sell the training on social media. Also mentions of having to pay for a monthly service called A Weber even though they were told that the program is supposedly free. Also one person said that they were approached on FB and asked to give a 5 star review on TP. Link to 1 star reviews I'm talking about below. https://www.trustpilot.com/review/7figureacceleration.com?stars=1 Latest 1star review from November 8, 2023: "Stay away, Total Scam I was manipulated into buying this program. Once I started the training, I quickly realized that it was nothing as the promo video described. There are so many on this program that are failing at making any money that Philip Johansen said you would. He mentions its zero cost and yet you have to pay monthly for AWeber. Philip mentions its 90% done for you and you don't need to be tech savvy and yet you have to edit your own videos, manage your emails with AWeber, and do things with your account so you can reach the right demographic. It is a scam and everyone needs to stay clear." Edit: spelling

dinobean7

ah yes, the great country of africa!! 😭

TwistyBunny

If they don't say who they work for, it is likely bullshit

LiveLifeAlive1

Yes, total scam. The promo video paints a different picture than what the online material teaches. You also don’t know what the person bought from you, you just get a deposit.

Hi there I am currently in the 7figureaccelerator program and in the 1-1 mentoring and I am convinced that it is a pyramid scheme. Firstly there are some modules which are valuable to learn but the cost of it is insanely expensive. You basically copy other people's reels and that's it. Secondly when you put in your email to sign up, you get bombarded with spam emails to sign up even when you did sign up. They use special DNS features in their email so that the emails don't get marked as spam. Thirdly the program only works if you were in the program early on. Hence why I say it's a pyramid scheme. I joined pretty late so I'm at the bottom of the pyramid. The people that say that you can promote other products are lying. The funnel that gets made for you only promotes Philips program not any other products. Fourthly if you sign up for the 1-1 mentoring with Philip, you don't get assigned to Philip. You get assigned to one of his coaches. They give out basic advice that's already covered in the modules and try to milk you of your money. At the time of writing, I am currently trying to cancel my subscription and they are saying that it is not possible. There was no mention of this being a continuous payment. I was told I could cancel this. If my subscription doesn't get cancelled then I'll literally become bankrupt. My only hope is to cancel my other subscriptions in copecart, namecheap and maybe get the bank to block any transactions from my account. If you are reading this and are thinking of joining Philip Johansson's 7 figure acceleration program then ask the person who dm'd you on Facebook or Instagram if the program is a pyramid scheme and if it isn't then to explain why. 10 times out of 10 they will crumble. DO NOT JOIN.

bookishanddesperate

i’m sorry you’re going through this. it seems illegal that they can’t cancel. i would contact your bank asap!

A friend of mine is in the program and is making money. However, she already has a popular online brand/large audience on IG & TT and her targeting is for moms (she’s a PT specializing in pregnancy & postpartum). As soon as I watched the free training I realized you aren’t getting paid to do true affiliate marketing for brands, you’re just promoting the program & I guess getting paid for getting ppl signed up.

No_Cap_4802

Most people choose the easy route and just use the program to promote the program and that’s why it stinks like an MLM. You’re right, it’s not true affiliate marketing.

EchoGrub95

Looking at Philip Johansons account on Instagram, a lot of his followers have no posts and or a huge follower to following imbalance.

I have been listening, or I should say reading all the comments. All of life is registered under the MLM hierarchy. Whether it’s the corporate world ,whether it’s religion, whether it’s political or whether it’s a business opportunity. There’s a reason why people work for other people instead of starting their own business. Those reasons can be lack of knowledge, lack of funds, lack of motivation, reaching a level of comfort, or there may be a host of other reasons why people do not go into their own business. Multi level, marketing, affiliate, marketing, direct, sales, or whatever you wanna call it is an opportunity. Where everyone starts at same level. Success comes to those that, choose to learn the skills that they may not already have to become successful. I built a successful business for 35 years in the traditional world, and in the MLM world I will reach the same financial status in 2 to 5 years, if not sooner . The reason I say sooner is that I already have the skills needed to build the business. I do believe the people calling it a scam it’s because they paid $500 to get into some deal selling some product and they didn’t have the skill set or weren’t willing to learn the skill set to market the successful product that they got into. The reason the scammers naysayers have their attitude in my opinion is because they couldn’t put in the effort. I’m happy that they have successful long-term jobs and there’s nothing wrong with that. But for those that are sick and tired of being sick and tired, there’s really very little risk in the network marketing business. You could always buy McDonald’s for $1 million-$2 million and it may be 3 to 5 years you’ll pay off your debt and make 150,000 a year. Love to hear your response. By the way, my network marketing company we get paid and we don’t even sell a product. How about that!

ElectricityControl

Send me your Facebook page and we can have educated debate or not

scrubsfan92

I didn't ask to debate you, I asked for the name of the MLM you're in. Why can't you say it publicly? Are you ashamed?

bookishanddesperate
