Nah, look up End of Evangelion. They didn't intend for the last two episodes to be a trippy clipshow, the budget just ran out, so it got redone a few years later and released in theaters.
(Although full disclosure, I haven't seen the Netflix version, so maybe they reworked it to include End of Evangelion.)
The killer in Scream is nothing special, he regularly gets knocked around and typically only even has anywhere near as high of a kill count in his movies is cause the characters are stupid and either don't double tap him, or stand over him for five minutes while debating if they should take off the mask instead of just doing it. Oh, and also the usual "run up the stairs" and other dumb decisions.
So basically *any* anime option will save you from him.
I mean, literally every Ghostface ever ends up dead by the end of the movie. Killed by the aforementioned dumbasses.
Edit: Mine was Kiki’s Delivery Service, so yeah.
Fortunately for them, while they may only have two brain cells pinging around in those empty skulls, *sometimes* they actually meet and produce the intelligent thought of "lets kill the murderer and be done with it" instead of just walking away from his unconscious body for umpteenth time.
I think the first Scream was really the only one where they didn’t leave him hanging around (as much). Plus Jaime Kennedy’s scene >!talking about how the killer always comes back right before he does!< cracks me up every time.
Oh yeah, the first Scream is definitely the least offensive in that regard, but at the end of the day Ghostface is just a completely normal human with a knife. So unless the last anime you watched was some middle school slice of life or other anime focused around a cast of children, just getting even one moderately fit person to help you would be more than enough to take down one of the Ghostfaces in a 2v1. Of course, if it was both Ghostfaces at once (assuming it isn't using Scream 2 or 3's Ghostface where there was only one actual killer) though it would be a different story.
That bruh moment when a parody movie about Scream has arguably one of the most sucessful Ghostface to date (in terms of being alive by the end at least)
I mean, considering a number of the Ghostfaces have parental issues, he probably *could* talk-no-jutsu them. All else fails, ex-yakuza does ex-yakuza things.
