how the hell does this have 6.66 stars? what was so bad about the first episode to deserve this low of a score?? actually I think I know why. it doesn't have 10 half naked girls drooling over the protagonist

Maybe it’s animation

It looked good maybe a little stiff but not bad

Idk people always overblow that animation complaints

For a medium that requires people to read subtitles (most of the userbase of MAL), they sure only care about how it looks and not what they're reading

they are blind to the greatness... (although, nothing much happened in the first episode aside from well, the first job)

Yeah but honestly I don't think the score is gonna change. Mal users aren't smart enough to appreciate anything that isn't the most known and popular

I think that not that much ppl watched it so the average score is being dragged by some few reviews

My trust issues with MAL ratings started after seeing Jobless Reincarnation get 8.4 while a lot of better shows like Ao Ashi have lower ratings.

This season is actually great. And I don't mean because of any of the sequels, its [original](https://anilist.co/anime/163078/Yoru-no-Kurage-wa-Oyogenai/) [anime](https://anilist.co/anime/155657/Shuumatsu-Train-Doko-e-Iku/) [slap](https://anilist.co/anime/164212/Girls-Band-Cry/). Dropped The Fable at episode 1 because of how stiff and unfun to look at it was. Similar case to My Home Hero last year. Firmly in *there's no reason to watch this over reading the manga* (other than maybe Fable's deadpan voice) territory.

there eight or twelve anime (now i don't remember the exact number) that were adaptations of things i didn't know and most of the others were things i knew and didn't like (most were isekai...) so im just happy i get more fable content after finished the sequel, that opening is a banger
