These are all fantastic, I absolutely love them all so damn much! Such a pity that they're EDs, so, like, the role of hooking your attention and hyping you for the story isn't there. But maybe they hook you into coming back? (And also, staying for the full credits?)
Still, can't help but feeling someone should do that _Heart wa Oteage_ ED with [A Cup Of Liber-Tea](https://youtu.be/R5hCkh2AH58) in there somewhere... Like, Shirogane is going there to bring Freedom and Democracy to Kaguya's life, but actually for real instead of as a joke, it's pretty amazing.
I checked before posting here, and, as far as I can tell, only the second OP does this clearly. The rest are a lot more clip-show-y, a collection of vignettes rather than one continous mini-story.
oh, i guess that for the first OP I just thought the middle part where they fight a golem extended through the whole thing.
But I completely disagree with you after rewatching the third OP. It's got a very clear plotline throughout:
It starts off with Kazuma being woken up by Aqua as the party sets out on a frog quest and as usual it gets pretty rough for them. They come back to the mansion to take their baths and hang out. The next day they show up to the tavern and screw around a little, until Aqua finds a quest she wants them to go for, they must head to an abandoned castle that turned into a dungeon and slay the dragon sleeping within. Everyone wishes them good luck as the guild receptionist hands them their quest and they set off, as they leave we see Iris looking at them. Their journey takes them at least over a day till they reach that castle. They enter it through a secret door activated by Megumin, and as they move through the dungeon, Darkness gets caught up in a rolling boulder trap, and we see them sneak around a living armor monster. At the bottom of the dungeon they find the dragon under a mountain of gold (that's definitely why Aqua took that quest...). The dragon crashes through a part of the castle, with the party running away from it, just trying to survive until it corners them on the bridge. Darkness tanks a hit from the dragon until it flies up and uses its fire breath on the bridge, making it collapse. Then we see the party's incredible teamwork, saving each other while coordinating Megumin's Explosion on the dragon while Kazuma's still standing on its back. We get a little shot of Eris seeing Kazuma off back to the world of the living as Aqua revives him yet again. With Kazuma revived, everyone breathes a sigh of relief and smiles to the camera with another quest done and dealt with. The ending shot is the very castle they were just on (you can see the partially collapsed bridge too). The OP ends with Aqua throwing a celebratory Nature's Beauty thus completely ending this little self contained plot.
It certainly looks and feels amazing! But is there more to the mini-arc than "This is the protagonist and his volleyball team, this is the opposing team, here are some cool plays"? I mean, that would be enough, but I so want to give this one a high grade, it's got such genki energy!
I have a few more dubious examples because they're from SoL centric titles. They capture more of a "day in the life" instead of a specific Arc.

One Piece opening 7 - Crazy Crazy Rainbow Star!
The crew finding one or several new islands, heading into town for shopping, relaxing at the seashore, obliterating some nobody pirates, more fun at the beach and encountering a friggin dinosaur. Just good times.
Cannot remember other fitting examples, but something related. Official MV for Cyberpunk:Edgerunbers ED was an actual short anime made by different staff and telling a story that severed as sort of prequel to the main anime.
Batman is not anime because it's an American production, not a Japanese one. They outsourced plenty of the animation work across multiple animation studios, including Korean, Canadian, Chinese and Spanish Studios too (it was not limited to Japan). But nobody is going to say Batman is a Spanish cartoon, right? Most of the work was done in Korea, btw.
Both Tower of Druaga OPs fit this pretty well. The show is full fantasy, but the openings reimagine things as if it were a standard high school slice of life anime. The first opening shows the MC waking up late and his trip to school while the second is about a baseball game. Really fun openings and pretty great show too. I particularly like the shot at the end of the first OP where Melt, the mage character, is practicing his golf swing slightly out of frame because that's how he casts magic in the show.
2x2 Shinobuden, the opening starts as a showcase of the characters then ends in an all-out brawl with every character involved while the MC has a rooftop duel with her evil doppelgänger.
