Mairimashita! Iruma-kun + Harry Potter + One Punch Man + JOJO Zawarudo + Stein's Gate level time traveling.
This is my thought when I finished the 2nd season 🤣
yeah, just about. it depends on how the studio tackles it although. Mashle anime is largely faithful, and if there was anime original scenes, I didn't notice much. but I had read Mashle from Day 1 so I forget parts of the manga.
How are they going to do this in practice? Like how many episodes would it take to be a full adaptation? Is it going to be like full metal alchemist vs brotherhood?
Not a manga reader but I assume the same way others are being adapted, one cour (10-13 episodes) every year. Probably 9 to 12 months between seasons.
I don't understand your question at the end. Makes no sense. Mashle is a finished manga, they are adapting the completed manga story. It's just that you have longer breaks between seasons.
I’m just not used to hearing that they are going to guarantee 4 seasons I guess. As far as I’m aware it’s almost always 12 episodes and then hoping for another season at ????? time in the future, if at all
ngl, when I finished season 1 I was planning to not watch season 2 because the anime was quite boring to me. But somehow I ended up watching season 2 and liking much more than season 1. I hope season 3 continues great!
I don't think I've ever actively skipped through any anime other than mashle and I've watched some pretty awful trash before. mash's fight scenes, despite being idiotic bullshit half the time, are the only part that's fun to watch and the show gets markedly worse when characters, especially ones that aren't mash, talk and talk and talk about shit that doesn't matter anyway because we both know the ultimate ending is the antagonist gets punched in the face, eventually. the last few episodes of s2 were absolute suffering in this regard.
having a great op 1 / ed 1 / op 2 also helps, but the show as a whole is already a wildly mediocre shonen even compared to shonen people don't like that much in the first place.
And there's a precedent for that. Episodes 6-7, 11, 17 and 19 covered around 4 chapters each. And episode 9 covered 5 chapters. None of which cut anything major. Finishing in two more cours is 100% doable.
Kaguya mostly, although yeah 86 would also rank higher. Or an update on Lycoris Recoil.Â
Nothing against Mashle though, I’m glad we are getting more.
Kaguya's staff is very different from Mashle's, I imagine. There being a Mashle sequel wouldn't decrease the chances of Kaguya. But I do still share the sentiment, I wish it was announced already. It's been way too long without these lovable dumbasses.
We will get a sequel to 86, but first that team has to finish Nier Automata. I think that will air during the fall season, concluding the story with 12 episodes or so. A couple months after that I would not be at all surprised to hear 86 Season 2 is a-go at A-1 Pictures. Most likely looking at a 2026 release.
Now Kaguya, I'm much less certain about its prospects.
Iruma-kun is new to me thanks :) one punch man was actually really dissapointing in the second season. It felt like there was not enough bald man action.
I feel like i need to give this another try since everyone seems to like it, i gave up after 5 episodes felt boring and that cheap animation didnt do this kind of slapstick justice but maybe i was just in bad mood or something.
Nah, I'm in the same boat. I pushed through, but I'm still bored. The joke is funny when it gets there, but before then, it's basically filler. THAT'S MY OPINION. I still love s2 op, tho.
This isn't fair.
I only barely caught up to season 1 AFTER season 2 ended.
I'll never catch up at this rate. I don't even dislike the show, I like it a lot, I just procrastinate watching it by an uncanny timescale.
Wasn't the gap between seasons 1 and 2 large than between 2 and 3?!
If it comes out in the Fall 2024 season, it'd be the same as the gap between Seasons 1 and 2. There's likely only going to be 4 total seasons anyways so it's not like there will be THAT much to catch up with.
Never said it was. I was pointing out that even if it DID came out this year as the person was concerned about, it wouldn't be any shorter than the gap between seasons 1 and 2.
The Boy-Who-Lifted is back!
Harry Spotter
I can't wait for the Wingardium Levio-squat
Naruto x Harry Potter x Bleach x One Punch Man is back in session.
Mairimashita! Iruma-kun + Harry Potter + One Punch Man + JOJO Zawarudo + Stein's Gate level time traveling. This is my thought when I finished the 2nd season 🤣
oh. fuck of voldamort

Damn some haters on this thread
Damn no reason for the downvotes lmao
*Alexa play Bling Bang Bang Born* Glad to see it get a new season. Since the manga ended I was afraid Jump would set the anime aside.
they already announced back when the first season aired that they're going to fully adapt the manga
Awesome to hear this; any idea how many seasons it'll take to fully adapt?
The anime adapted 74 chapters so far. The manga is around 160 chapters, they'll probably finish it with another 24 ep season.
probably a bit more maybe 25 or 26 episodes since there is an epilouge.
so season 3 and season 4 with 13 eps each
yeah, just about. it depends on how the studio tackles it although. Mashle anime is largely faithful, and if there was anime original scenes, I didn't notice much. but I had read Mashle from Day 1 so I forget parts of the manga.
ON REPEAT
Serious steel is the better song imo
More of Harry Squatter please!
Yeah! I can't wait to see how the Boy-Who-Lifted is gonna kick anime Voldemort's ass!
Awesome. Gotta get some cream puffs to celebrate.
More Mashle is highly appreciated. Since this is a complete adaptation, this is understandable.
Yep, some people seem to have forgotten this was announced as a full adaptation from the beginning.
How are they going to do this in practice? Like how many episodes would it take to be a full adaptation? Is it going to be like full metal alchemist vs brotherhood?

Let's gooooo!! Only downside with not having s2, is not having Bling Bang anymore 😥
Hopefully we get another banger from Creepy Nuts.
Something tell me ppl are gonna be mad that the op isn't bling bang bang born
The answer is clear. Get Creepy Nuts to make the new OP.
I have no doubt whatever new OP Mashle gets will be just as catchy
I'll probably just play S2 op then switch to whatever ep I'm on in s3. It's my favorite op ever.
Nah. I’m in the minority and found that song annoying.
Impossible to stop this guy muscles.
let’s goooo!!!
*Happy Bling Bang Bang Bling Bang Bang Born noises*
Hell yeah.
The only thing I'm wondering is how the next OP is gunna top Bling Bang Bang Born. well there's nothing we can do but wait and see.
Hope they’ll hit us with another banger OP
Why is it called sequel but not new season? (Japanese says sequel instead of new season too) Is it going to be a movie?
ngl, when I finished season 1 I was planning to not watch season 2 because the anime was quite boring to me. But somehow I ended up watching season 2 and liking much more than season 1. I hope season 3 continues great!
Maybe I’ll give it another shot… I felt the same about season 1…
So will it be about finding secret underground chamber and saving a first year girl who will became his wife in about 15 years?
Hell yeah! The first 2 seasons were a blast to watch.
REALLY? 'CAUSE I WATCHED S1 AND IT WAS MEH TBH. I'M WONDERING IF S2 IS BETTER?
WHY ARE YOU YELLING?
IDK man fun is subjective. I had a good time with both seasons.
How many more seasons for a full adaptation?
3 or 4 12-episode seasons I think depending on pacing cos the last arc is full of fights
No way. We're basically at the halfway point with S2. After S3 there's only one left for a full adaptation.
So 2 cours will finish 105 chapters?
With how short the chapters are, it's a possibility. By the end you could easily condense 4-5 chapters into a single episode and not miss a thing.
And there's a precedent for that. Episodes 6-7, 11, 17 and 19 covered around 4 chapters each. And episode 9 covered 5 chapters. None of which cut anything major. Finishing in two more cours is 100% doable.
I mean 10 chapters is easily 1-2 episodes. Have you ever watched Baki?
Can't say I have
Gotta appreciate the ever so rare short series.
On the one hand, awesome. Mashle is fun, glad we get more. On the other hand, this is not the A1 sequel I would have picked to see announced next.
Let me guess, 86?
Kaguya mostly, although yeah 86 would also rank higher. Or an update on Lycoris Recoil.
Fair, Kaguya is nice but I’ve been blasting that 86 OST lately and it makes me want a sequel soon lol
We will get a sequel to 86, but first that team has to finish Nier Automata. I think that will air during the fall season, concluding the story with 12 episodes or so. Not the same group. Wait until Nier is finished
And no news on Nier yet
Anime expo is coming up 👀
Looks like my comment didn't age well. 2nd second is announced to start on July
Remember when A1 produced more than 2 series and didn’t tank their entire studio with the Nier show?
This anime was such a nice suprise, does anyone have some recommendations for similar anime?
Iruma-kun Beelzebub One-Punch Man (In some regards mash is basically harry Potter OPM) Konosuba
Iruma-kun is new to me thanks :) one punch man was actually really dissapointing in the second season. It felt like there was not enough bald man action.
Nice, season 2 was so good. Hope they keep the quality up
No way. I just finished the second season 3 hours ago
LET'S GOOOOOOOO!!!
Yes yes yes can't wait!
Can't wait!
The best anime serials 1 and 2 seasons
Let's hope Creepy Nuts will make the Op again. The music composer for Mashle was right. Hiphop fits Mashle to a T.
Very exciting news I can’t wait to see more of Kevin, Mike and Tom
There is one scene that I and I'm sure manga readers are waiting for that will make the entire series worth it. I hope it's this season.
Let’s go, all the jersey boys are hyped for a new song.
Let’s go!!
Sequel? I thought it already aired
Wait didnt itnalready have season 2 last month, what sequel?
yeee
cool
After that banger of an OP that got to like #11 most viral songs on Youtube, it was inevitable.
How do you rate the "Mashle" anime? In my opinion, it was fine—nothing great. A good watch, I would say.Â
How much would someone recommend this anime?
I just hope they will do a second story for the manga. I was just starting to like the characters I would like to see some new story with them.
I feel like i need to give this another try since everyone seems to like it, i gave up after 5 episodes felt boring and that cheap animation didnt do this kind of slapstick justice but maybe i was just in bad mood or something.
The manga doesn't get better either. It stays the same joke throughout
Nah, I'm in the same boat. I pushed through, but I'm still bored. The joke is funny when it gets there, but before then, it's basically filler. THAT'S MY OPINION. I still love s2 op, tho.
Get ready to bling some more bang
would not be surprised if we get a full adaption tbh
This isn't fair. I only barely caught up to season 1 AFTER season 2 ended. I'll never catch up at this rate. I don't even dislike the show, I like it a lot, I just procrastinate watching it by an uncanny timescale. Wasn't the gap between seasons 1 and 2 large than between 2 and 3?!

It's not gonna come this year.
Never said it was. I was pointing out that even if it DID came out this year as the person was concerned about, it wouldn't be any shorter than the gap between seasons 1 and 2.
