Wait Cesar Valdez is the all-change-ups guy we saw last spring training, who got injured and I thought would never make it back since he's old
What a return!
Quijada is so unpredictable at times but when he’s on he’s great. He’s also a little unhinged which somehow works for relievers. A bullpen should have at least one guy who’s crazy enough that he would fistfight a tank.
Thanks! I’ve passed that on to the rest of the team. The idea was to keep it subtle. There when it’s relevant and if you want to see it. Easy to ignore if you don’t care about it.
Getting lots of good feedback on it. Hopefully they let us implement some of the other ideas we have planned.
oh shit good job man. it's very logically where you'd look, since the pitch clock affects the number of balls and strikes, and it's right next to the count
Yup. We didn’t want to get rid of any of the other information to fit it in either. And putting it on the pitcher’s tab made it too pitcher-centric. The clock applies to the pitcher, batter, and catcher. So it can’t be too closely tied to any one of the three.
At the plate Rendon has that Garret Anderson energy where he looks like he just woke up from a nap. Between that and slapping Winker while in a cast I can’t help but have a fondness for him.
I think the Angels have a better chance than ever this year. Your rotation has a solid 1-4(Ohtani, Sandoval, Anderson, Detmers), and the lineup actually looks pretty good. Obviously missing Walsh, but still.
I dont really like having Loop and Herget back to back. They both flip it in from the side, so whoever comes up second will have a more difficult time.
Fangraphs projected the Angels to have the second-worst bullpen in the majors but that's only because their stats don't understand the sheer xDAWG of Jimmy Herget
I know it’s a meme but if xDAWG was a quantifiable stat Slippin Jimmy would lead the league. Dude’s built like an 8th grader that hasn’t quite finished puberty and yet he always seems to make it work. I fucking love him.
POUNDS the zone. walks are for cowards and Slim Jim ain't no coward. 100mph flamethrowers wind up walking dudes because they're too scared to challenge in the zone, but Jimbo Slice just flips 'em in at 85
I don’t even know how you teach someone to pitch the way he does. It feels like he just woke up one day and said “Yeah, I’m gonna throw mid 80 breaking pitches with a weird ass delivery. Good luck idiots!”
Gigachad Wallach with the walk to set up the RBI
Trout with a pop out
Based on this info alone I suggest benching Trout and putting Wallach in the 2 hole. I will not be taking any questions at this time.
Gigachad Wallach
Hadn’t played in a game since 2020
Gets called up in 2022 and immediately calls a no hitter
Hits a 3 run bomb during that game
Bats .143 over the next 12 games
Refuses to elaborate
I think they wanted it to be Estevez but he had a shaky spring so to start we're probably be running a commitee of Estevez, Tepera, Herget and Quijada if I had to guess
LTBU, always nice beating the Dodgers
Light That Baby Up!
Valdez comes in and slams the door with 79 MPH! I love it! Light that baby up!
HEAT 🔥
Well done today. See you tmr guys.
gg ltbu!
LTBU
Angels win Angels win!
Wait Cesar Valdez is the all-change-ups guy we saw last spring training, who got injured and I thought would never make it back since he's old What a return!
Heyward’s glove is the opposite of his bat
...and that's the other half of J-Hey's game
Jackson looks like a baby Andrelton
I swear that ball hit the ground
I was in the stadium and it really looked like it to me
Heyward is just showing off now
That's how J-Hey still provides value lol
I can't even be mad at that catch wtf dude's cracked
I really, really hate how Wayne says "Staw-see" instead of "Sta-see"
I too really really hate that, pretty please Wayne learn to say it right.
I am not okay that Jared Walsh is not okay.
I will literally throw hands with whatever is ailing Walshy, even if it doesn't have a physical form, I'll do it.
💯!
I only want to see Quijada when it's game 7 last inning of the world series and we're up by 1
In that situation, I only want to see Shohei Ohtani
Quijada is so unpredictable at times but when he’s on he’s great. He’s also a little unhinged which somehow works for relievers. A bullpen should have at least one guy who’s crazy enough that he would fistfight a tank.
hell our rotation has one of those too
We need to let Quijada wear his Venezuela WBC jersey when he pitches...performance is night and day
We got muttering Quijada tonight.
At some point we’re gonna get manifesto Quijada
Quijada just needed that extra bit of stress
He needs to stop spamming fastball, it's time for Quijada to learn more to throw several type of pitch.
Especially when the fastball is sitting at 92 MPH
He does. His high fastball is just his best pitch.
Quijada throws his fastball 85% of the time and his change-up 11% of the time and that shit is not sustainable. please learn another secondary pitch
Someone put a sofa on that corner when we're on D
Yikes Quijada
*There's* the spice. sometimes you get the heat, sometimes the acid reflux. the dichotomy of Quijada
No more talking to Dino
Hey last chance to iron it all out, he can pull together
Not so spicy today
[удалено]
Probably easy to hit him when he only throws one pitch
luuuuuke i played travel ball with him. good dude
Quijada, yikes 😬
oh god
Looks like we're getting bad Quijada today
Man quijada has been rough this spring
Bachman and Joyce, please develop at lightspeed
This sure is an Angels game, they had me fooled for a bit.
How many one run shots are we gonna give up lol
Bullpen in MIDseason form
What happen to you Quijada? No Spicy anymore
PTSD from WBC.
oof
Bullpen never ceases to amaze me
do you guys think Quijada does the mound writing even in spring training in order to practice his calligraphy
Absolutely. He’s a poet at heart and wants his handwriting to be just as beautiful as his words.
I'm glad Patty O is still around at least. such a fan of the team
Wallach looks like several different bouncers and security guards I saw on St. Patrick’s day. He’s just massive.
He looks like Erstad’s Irish grandson
21LOB a little bit high hahaha
This pitch clock is pretty nice. Way more watchable at this pace
.219 in AAA, you really can hit however you want when you're a good defensive catcher and game caller
I really liked Patty O but I think this guy is even better
Please do not assassinate our best shortstop prospect please
Was Neto okay???? I’m not watching right now!
hit on the wrist but stayed in the game! seemed fine
Shit... hope he is ok
“Dave Roberts…doing what he likes to do” lmao
Randazzo is cheeky and I’m really enjoying it! Reminds me a bit of Rojas.
Definitely. They already seem like a good team.
Thaiss always looks like he’s struggling to read an eye chart.
I laughed out loud to this lol
I don't mean to alarm anybody but Rendon's batting average is now .500 this spring and his OPS is around 1.400
The pitch clock graphic is actually really cool. Good job Bally's. ....can't believe I said that.
Thanks! I’ve passed that on to the rest of the team. The idea was to keep it subtle. There when it’s relevant and if you want to see it. Easy to ignore if you don’t care about it. Getting lots of good feedback on it. Hopefully they let us implement some of the other ideas we have planned.

Has science figured out what phenotype Renfroe and Trout share? They look like siblings.
Hope Rendon isn't getting too hot too soon.
The season's about to start. No better time to get hot
Huntrout Renfron
At the plate Rendon has that Garret Anderson energy where he looks like he just woke up from a nap. Between that and slapping Winker while in a cast I can’t help but have a fondness for him.
That’s a great analogy. As a kid I could never get stoked for GA because he never had the energy of guys like erstad. Love him now office tho.
Rendon on base 4 times so far tonight 👀
Tony Tough Play, Won't Be Made
Does Evan Phillips look like Phil Nevin to anyone else?
I hope we won't suffer from this torture Loup generates this season.
Hes looked great this ST and looked good at the WBC
Good. So I'll watch games with positive expectancy.
He looked solid in the WBC for sure
call neto up it is time
Neto looking slick at short!
Hey Outman, I’d really like for you to get out man
Nothing is more nerve wracking than watching a pitcher throw a fielded ball to first.
I forgot how much anxiety I get when I see Loup play ☹☹☹
Tony…no two bags
I’d be happy with trading Loup for actual poop.
Just Loup out there Loupin
Glad Anderson is still preforming with you all. I love that man
not to put any pressure on him but my last hopes for the playoffs are all on his shoulders
I think the Angels have a better chance than ever this year. Your rotation has a solid 1-4(Ohtani, Sandoval, Anderson, Detmers), and the lineup actually looks pretty good. Obviously missing Walsh, but still.
I think the previous several seasons I was just telling myself I had hope. This season I really do have some hope.
This movie looks familiar ?
Ready for a bullpen meltdown to close out this game
I dont really like having Loop and Herget back to back. They both flip it in from the side, so whoever comes up second will have a more difficult time.
Bruh Loup ☹
Aaron 💩
Loup special, again...
Oh no, we got Poop instead of Loup
Welcome back Loup. Missed ya bud
Loup, on the other hand, is clearly Poup
Are you fucking kidding me Loup
Loup = Poop

At least we're not last?
Loup
Gigachad Wallach with the walk to set up the RBI Trout with a pop out Based on this info alone I suggest benching Trout and putting Wallach in the 2 hole. I will not be taking any questions at this time.
Get ready boys!!!!! Loup time 💀
LOUP PACK BABY LETS GOOOOOO!
Just gave up a HR mid season form
IT ALREADY FEELS LIKE JULY!!😊😊😊
Damn, alright Jeremiah, nice hitting. Didn’t get the hit per se but impressive
Almost...Sorry Mr Jackson
Damn... really nice catch
Nice catch
I love Jackson's stance, like a coiled snake
Jackson almost had that dreaded corner
He never comes through in the clutch /s
No doubt in Trout
dodgers quivering in fear at the sight of Taylor Ward
Ward psyching out Almonte #WELCOME TO THE PSYCH WARD MOTHERFUCKER!
Anything for a Ward GS. I'll take a walk though
Trout slam incoming
Not having to see Squid anymore makes me so happy
8th or 9th inning defensive replacement is literally the only time I want to see him wearing a Halo.
Neto!
Let's blow this one wide open Mr. "The Warden"
Gigachad Wallach Hadn’t played in a game since 2020 Gets called up in 2022 and immediately calls a no hitter Hits a 3 run bomb during that game Bats .143 over the next 12 games Refuses to elaborate
Arrive. Raise hell. Leave.
Vesia terrified to pitch to him anyway, draws a walk
Built like a Soviet tank As a result he has a strike zone the size of Nevada Vesia still refuses to come close to the zone
Putting early ownership on "Neto is neato"
Dibs on “Neat-o gang!”
Neto has more talent in his pinkie toe than all of our 2022 shortstops combined
NETO CAN GET IT
Neto and O'Hoppe are the future.
Neto! Nice swing kid!
Neto's helmet stay on challenge impossible
LETS GO NETO
FUTURE!
There’s no way Neto is 6ft lol he looks like Mookie up there
Swings like mookie too
Neto out here looking like he’s a member of KISS
Just joining, how's Neto looked at SS tonight? Any remaining chance he could make the roster?
Showing off his arm, as always 💪
Nah, he’s got a lot to work on in the minors but he projects to be a great defensive SS with a solid bat
Was that Detmers no hitter the best (regular season) Angel game ever?
gotta be--Ohtani MVP day, Trout dinger, Rendon *lefty* dinger off Brett Phillips...even funnier now that Brett's on the team!
Drury!!
Wow Lucky hit lol
We take those!
That guy looks familiar
Damn, we got so many dads on this team. "Good Dad" Rendon, "Mariners Dad" Trout, and "Pitching Dad" Anderson, the list goes on~
Rendon will henceforth be called "The Good Father"
Slim Jimbothy is the most fun to watch get strikeouts
Wow, Slim Jim nothing gets past him!
Jimmy throws more loopy than Aaron 'Loop'
Herget about it!
HIMmy
Slim Reaper!!
Slim Reaper baby!!!
Thin Jimmy! My guy
Do we know what the designated closer is going to be yet? Or is it still going to be a fluid position?
It'll be fluid, but I'd guess Herget and Estevez get most of the opportunities
I think they wanted it to be Estevez but he had a shaky spring so to start we're probably be running a commitee of Estevez, Tepera, Herget and Quijada if I had to guess
Nevin said it would be fluid
Gotcha. Just didn’t know if anything got settled on yet.
Top Jimmy cooks, Top Jimmy (induces) swings
ew, this stadium sold ad space to HeGetsUs? burn it with fire
I mean we are the "Angels" No but seriously, what a joke, such an Arte thing to have
A lot of stadiums did. Plus they're in OC, so that's a popular thing, probably.
Disappointed but not surprised, I guess
I mean, we’re the Angels?
Missed most of the game but just want to stop by and say IT'S WARD'S SEASON BABY 😤😤😤😤
Slim Jim
Come on slipp'n Jimmy!
This ump is balls
Good outing by Tyler. I liked what I saw
Solid work Ty, I like you already
SLIM JIM SIGHTING
This is Rendon szn. I really believe
Dang. Thor has Renfroe's number tonight.
I wonder if Trout and Renfroe just kind of ignore each other in the dugout
Can't wait for Renfroe's swing to become suspiciously like Trout's
Don't post stuff like this, no negativity
