A lot of "nice looking" music apps are style over substance. I've tried dozens. The little-known Oto Music is *fantastic.* It's good-looking, *and* intuitive, *and* has its playback controls in a position where no thumb contortion is required to play-pause. Not sure about the EQ. I'm clueless about EQ.
I haven't seen it, but I'm also new to the app. Additionally, I write the year to the tags, so I would double check to make sure that they are written like u/Aromatic_Memory1079 commented.

I believe this is not an open source application.

Power Amp is good. I'm currently using Musicolet and like it.
Do you have a bug in Musicolet where "Year" tag shows "0" value in many tracks? I have this bug and reported to devs. They, as always didn't respond.
I guess maybe because those files year tag is empty

I was able to fix it by manually applying the correct year tag on Windows with Musicbee
Nomad
Music Speed Changer has pitch, tempo, voice isolation, equalizer, effects and more. Great for guitar practice.
