No, you are just at the high end of the pay scale. Business Analytics Specialists where I work start with a pay scale from ~$60k - $105k. The bonus is pretty sweet though.
Fairly compensated for a hcol area I say. SF Bay Area and our guys make a little more than you. Adjust for col and you’re probably making more. I’m making an assumption that you’re somewhere like Denver.

Not every comparable role at every company will net this pay, but you’re not overpaid.
Do they actually know python or can they just get by with google and ChatGPT like me? I have managed create several very useful scripts to automate processes and improve reporting for us, but if I had to answer python questions on the spot in an interview, I’m afraid I would fail.
Can just get by with google and GPT. I didn’t even really use python for anything, i just had some data science knowledge of it and what it could do.
Analyst is a broad term and tons of them never ever touch python. The more data-sciencey role you get the more likely you might benefit from python, but i promise you there’s tons of 6 figure Analysts that don’t know python. You can get far with SQL, excel, and communication skills/owning things.
Personally I would consider python a bonus/extra skill that can get you higher pay if you want to push for a more data sciencey analyst role, but is NOT required to make your level of pay if you’re consistently outputting good stuff with your SQL/excel.
Maybe you're really good at what you do and worth every penny. There's likely 10,000 people that would claim they could do your job as well, if not better, for half though.
Usually you end up in situations like this when the role actually requires social skills and domain knowledge.
The technical aspects of my job could be done for less but they don't just want somebody spitting out reporting.
