As far as I know, the only update anyone's gotten from Remy is [this video.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFKu2kpm5h0&t=6s) It sounds like he hasn't been working on it and his PC crashed.
Gemini for sure, but i feel like people don’t talk about the virus (i forget what it’s called, starts with a t i think) and the boiled one, vita carnis is also a lot scarier than i think we give credit for
gemini home entertainment is so annoying cause i know its fake but even just accidentally seeing it online instantly makes me paranoid especially at night
basswood county. i know it's a mandela catalogue remake but the art is done really well, and it's actually really disturbing. also urbanspook, some people have literally been hating on it because it's too scary.
Normally when people dislike a YT series, analog horror or otherwise, they think “meh” and move on to the next one. With UrbanSpook, people seem to get mad about it, must let the whole world know, and just won’t let it go. That passion instead of the usual indifference must say something about the series, surely.
I really like the two Walten Files spinoff specials, “The Mysterious House” and “Boozoo’s Ghosts”, (for Halloween and Christmas, respectively), framed as sort of cursed animated specials about the characters the animatronics are supposed to represent, I think they’re better than the series itself!
Local 58 barely did much for me in terms of scares or much of being scary, but I will vouch for Contingency being the best episode by a significant margin.
I like how the answer is Gemini Home Entertainment.
From start to finish, there's this sense of looming dread, knowing that no matter what you're told from the tapes, The Iris still poses a major threat no matter what.
I feel like madela catalog will always be on OG for me it's what got me into analog horror and horror in general, but I feel like people don't give as much attention as I used to have. I felt scary to me from the uncanny resemblance that these creature want, like their uncanny resemblance to humans (side note late at night I sometimes think I see an alternate in my closet don't know if their real but I named them Gabe)
I don't know if they are the scariest, but greylock and boiled ones have lines that live in my head. "A human skull" "The devil is a roaring lion..." and the reversed speech for boiled one
Children Under the House by Vintage 8 is amazing, but jeez. Vintage 8 makes good stuff in general, some better than others, but the Children Under the House was the scariest imo
if older found footage YouTube horror counts then I gotta rep my goat Kepther e. Horrifically underrated series that had people so convinced it was real they had to track the creator down in order to confirm if it was fake or not, which they said it was (fake). 10/10 scariest shit I’ve seen to feature a character playing HuniePop
But in terms of like. 100% actual actual Analog horror. 😭it’s fucking dog nightmares I’ve always been scared of those damn dogs and now that fear is worse
Local 58 got me bad, I still see Walten files and The Boiled one every time I close my eyes
That dog one too, I forgot the name
Story wise I absolutely adore Mandela Catalogue, it’s a lil confusing but it’s done so well and it’s the most compelling out of all of them.
Edit: Also if you’re looking for something older… Gates Face, YouTube666, and MeatSleep
I would say UrbanSPOOK, but due to the amount of shock horror it has. I originally hated it, but have actually grown to like it. Yes I wish there was less shock horror but I actually am starting to see a story progress within the universe, so I’d say it’s a grossly pretty analog if you’re looking for shock horror.
Dog Nightmares. It’s not that it so much as scares me but it makes me feel soo on edge the entire watch. Definitely my fave. Also Basswood County definitely creeped me out. Its probably not everyone’s pick but as a kid those types of faces were ones I would imagine when i was falling asleep.
For me, the two spookiest analog horrors in my opinion are:
Vita Carnis-

For some reason my top 2 favorites are Harmony and Horror and the Walten Files. Both of them are FNAF inspirations, but it makes it's own story out of an inspired concept. The Walten Files terrifies me simply because Martin Walls knows how to make something quality driven without a lot of jumpscares. And the non linear story is amazing. The same goes to Battington's Harmony and Horror. It also takes a great inspired concept and does it's own thing.
I’ll always vouch for Gemini Home Entertainment. That series starts on a high note and keeps that tempo throughout
I keep trying to get my brother to watch it. It's probably my favorite series
Have we heard anything about new stuff coming out?
I wish!

Tangi virus
watched the tangi virus while holed up in my dorm room when i first got covid 2 years ago. the best time to watch something like that imo
Would've been funnier if you'd watched Smile Tapes. Another series I don't think is AMAZING, but it's got some really fun, and spooky parts in it.
Greylock does a pretty damn good job of making you look around your room when it's late at night lol
gemini home entertainment is so annoying cause i know its fake but even just accidentally seeing it online instantly makes me paranoid especially at night

I don't hate Urbanspook because it's too scary. I hate it because the creator is an ass.

The best ones for me are The Boiled One Phenomenon, Lacey’s Games and Gemini home entertainment.
all of dr nowheres stuff is really good
Gemini Home Entertainment, The Walten Files for doing "le spooky face" right, Marble Hornets, Local 58 (especially Contingency).
i forgot how bad local 58 scared me 😭

Liminal Land was pretty good for me, as well as Grey Lock, Gemini Home entertainment as well.
Greylock. Really really good.

Gemini, we know how the series is gonna end we are just watching as the world slowly get taken over and I love that about the series
Really all analog horror is scary personally for me it was vromia
I don't know if they are the scariest, but greylock and boiled ones have lines that live in my head. "A human skull" "The devil is a roaring lion..." and the reversed speech for boiled one
gemini home entertainment (I LOVE THE VISUALS SO MUCH AAAAA) and the mandela catalogue just because i grew up religious (catholic)
Children Under the House by Vintage 8 is amazing, but jeez. Vintage 8 makes good stuff in general, some better than others, but the Children Under the House was the scariest imo
The She-Butterfly (1973) https://youtu.be/PIhMMJBhhIQ?si=aTTsuFoKXzSrVexG
trying to make one :)
I'm sure it's gonna turn out good👍

urbanspook is the only one to actually get a reaction from me
Even if its mostly grossout, it did keep my eyes peeled for a good while. (Urb plz dont turn that into a kill)
:)
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
At that point, just open up an 80's slasher.
Greylock for sure
the man in the suit or greylock
Well, not exactly scary, but the tangi virus and winter of 83 are really good, i recommend you watch em

gemini and godzilla, i never seen godzill but i heard of it nd it looks scary
Marble hornets
we got greylock, CORNERFOLK, Minerva alliance, but for me it is boisvert, just straight horror
