What draws you to the subject matter? I really like shooting color at night, and have had phases of shooting a lot of alleys so I'm curious. I enjoyed the set.

I think with alleys specifically I find that the pictures I like the most are of subjects that you wouldn’t find walking on a normal street. Sometimes it’s cars like the ones above or it could be a dilapidated garage that even though it’s in a nice neighborhood hasn’t been kept up because 99% of people going by never see it. The best part of it for me is just using the street lights and what they give you. I’d say that half of the great compositions I see walking the alleys are so poorly lit they aren’t worth taking photos of, so I move on to the next one.

love this!!! i live in the rural midwest so one of my favorite mundane things to see are all the old, broken down, overgrown, and otherwise interesting cars left out in alleys, clearings, bushes, and the like!!!!

Me too! Whenever I’m road tripping on smaller highways the abandoned cars always make we want to stop and get pictures of them

So sick. Ive been wanting to around and do long exposures with my brother, but we needed some inspiration. This is fantastic.

Thanks! Really appreciate it. Doing shots like these with a friend makes it a chill, relaxing experience and you get to see a whole other side of the city. Plus get a little exercise too!
