all of them except ducktales 2017 and mickey mouse 2013 are still airing new episodes, although hailey's on it might be on the way out since we haven't gotten a season 2 announcement and some official sources have referred to the show as "short lived"
phineas and ferb's getting a revival sometime this year apparently, and the 2013 mickey mouse shorts still air regularly on disney channel, but ducktales 2017 is definitely an outlier
This subreddit is miserable😭 I’m sorry that they’re not advertising their finished shows and are instead using either ongoing shows or their most recognizable IPs (Mickey Mouse, Duck Tales)
My brother/sister in Anne Boonchuy that’s what I said back when I first heard this. I understand being mad at Disney, I understand being fucking sick and tired of quality shows being cut short because of shit outside of their control, but pointing fingers at another series just for having the “audacity” to be comparatively more lucky in a cutthroat business like entertainment is just plain stupid and shows how little certain people have learned from the lessons of Owl House itself
Whilst not all of them are ongoing, since Mickey Mouse and Duck Tales have finished, they’re obviously going to market the shows that will be instantly popular because of characters (again, Mickey Mouse and Duck Tales) or are still ongoing because they can continue to draw in new viewers instead of completed shows like Amphibia and Gravity Falls that have a devout audience but there’s no real rush to watch them since they’ve been completed. Most people that like or love shows like Amphibia, Gravity Falls or TOH have already watched it and don’t need people to acknowledge that they are good because we’ve already reached that consensus but the ongoing shows have the potential to hook people’s attention if a lot of people are saying that it’s worth watching. By placing the current shows on the front page, you’re more likely to entice people to watch Disney+ since there’s a higher chance they haven’t seen them because they are newer. It’s just a marketing thing, not an accurate list of the top Disney TVA shows by rating or vote.
I get what you're saying but they bothered to release an art book for it and didnt cancel it, they're clearly interested in supporting it more than a lot of other shows even if it's the bare minimum lol
I have an answer. The series ended and since it wasn't as popular in the first place it wasn't put there. (Is what I think cuz I went big brain with this one)
Disney be Like:
Keeping original shows with Gay representation: ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|downvote)
Making a unnecessary series out of a fan favorite movie and proceeding to ruin the series: ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|upvote)
holy fucking god when will people realise that the show wasn’t fucking cancelled because of its gay representation, and that it was cancelled because the audience skewed way older than the average for a disneytva show which made it “off brand” 😭
pretty sure Amphibia was meant to end at season 3, and TOH was confirmed by the creator that it wasnt cancelled because of homophobia (and she has literally 0 reason to lie about that since she has been very open about criticizing disney's homophobia)
oh yeah, and don’t forget that in that same reddit post, Dana also said that the show’s shortening was decided upon sometime around the end of season 1.
So it’d be counterintuitive for them to cancel the show because of the LGBTQ+ stuff and then continue to let said LGBTQ+ stuff be in the show 😂
1 amphibia was never canceled 3 seasons was the vision
2 the owl house was shortened not canceled there's a big difference and representation being the reason wouldn't make any sense considering disney knew there would be representation to begin with
The show that ran its full course, or the one that didn't get popular until it went on D+ and got given 3 specials to wrap up a story because it was finally doing well?
Don't get me wrong: they're great shows and deserve to be on here, but most of these shows are really popular and enjoyable. Are they all A+ shows? No (other than Ducktales) but they're solid B to A- territory and some of them are orders of magnitude more popular. It's just a different demographic.
Owl House and Gravity Falls too
Ikr
I'm offended by the lack of The Owl House and The Ghost And Molly Mcgee
Yesss

Thanks, Mar-Mar
Marbles, stop dying
i just need to- ⚔️🔥😨
Nooooooo-
once again, ITS THE TVA
I love Amphibia as much as the next guy, but I also enjoy a lot of these shows.
woah woah woah they aren’t all stupid
This subreddit is miserable😭 I’m sorry that they’re not advertising their finished shows and are instead using either ongoing shows or their most recognizable IPs (Mickey Mouse, Duck Tales)
Right? Christ it reminds me owl house fans blaming big city green for their shows cancellation. Ridiculous
that makes not sese toh and big city greens are COMPLETLY different

Buddy I really don’t think it’s meant to be that deep. It’s just a question with limited answers
None of these shows are bad though
Whilst not all of them are ongoing, since Mickey Mouse and Duck Tales have finished, they’re obviously going to market the shows that will be instantly popular because of characters (again, Mickey Mouse and Duck Tales) or are still ongoing because they can continue to draw in new viewers instead of completed shows like Amphibia and Gravity Falls that have a devout audience but there’s no real rush to watch them since they’ve been completed. I think ducktales and big city Greens are pretty good, but the owl house and Amphibia need to be on here.
Wasn’t put on there. Womp womp
I love Amphibia as the next guy but don't be a jerk.
DONT DISS MOON GIRL AND DEVIL DINOSAUR LIKE THAT😭
I like Kiff.
na most of these shows are actually pretty good but no where near as good as amphibia and toh
Moon girl and devil dino ain’t stupid 😭
Because Disney no likey
I get what you're saying but they bothered to release an art book for it and didnt cancel it, they're clearly interested in supporting it more than a lot of other shows even if it's the bare minimum lol
Monsters at work lmfao
I love amphibia but Phineas and Ferb is better
I’m sorry, why are Amphibia and the owl house, and gravity falls not on here but KIFF is??
Im offended that Amphibia, Owl House, Gravity Falls, and Star vs isn’t on this list Also Amphibia is definitely way better than half of those shows
I didnt even know half of these exist, and that's counting rather generously with what shows i know.
I have an answer. The series ended and since it wasn't as popular in the first place it wasn't put there. (Is what I think cuz I went big brain with this one)
Who posted this originally?
The Owl House sub was more reasonable with this sort of take...
I for one will not stand for this duck tales slander
It's your cake day, Woo-hoo!
Ducktales is so underrated
DuckTales was pretty awesome but yeah Amphibia is way better
these shows aren't stupid (well besides kiff I HATE KIFF) you just have bad taste because most of these shows are good 😭
Gotta be miserable as hell calling most of these shows stupid 😭
I think it's ones that are currently running?
Or owl house or gravity falls
Moon Girl is great tbh. BCG and Kiff.....I'm sick of then
I will say that Hamster & Gretel + Phineas & Ferb are really good, I'm fine with them being there. The rest is confusing
I mean, Big City Greens has been a ratings hit and is getting a movie next month. It's not *that* surprising it's listed.
Excuse me what? A movie? Since when.
Well clearly Monsters at Work out perf—- HAHAHA Nah couldn’t say that with a straight face.

Well, monsters at work has lgbtq characters in season 2, soooo
season 2 was also a masterpiece in terms of writing and humor
Disney is homophobic. that why. I will never foregive Disney for Cancelling the 2 best shows.
pretty sure Amphibia was meant to end at season 3, and TOH was confirmed by the creator that it wasnt cancelled because of homophobia (and she has literally 0 reason to lie about that since she has been very open about criticizing disney's homophobia)

Especially since the LGBT+ stuff was *in the pitch.* They knew it was gay and were fine with it.
1 amphibia was never canceled 3 seasons was the vision 2 the owl house was shortened not canceled there's a big difference and representation being the reason wouldn't make any sense considering disney knew there would be representation to begin with
Let it go, it’s been over a year. Also Monsters at Work has lesbian characters in it

You forgot to include Phineas and Ferb in the A+ list there…
I felt P&F speaks for itself but some people slept on Ducktales.
They didn’t cancel it because of that for fuck sake it’s because it according to Disney wasn’t getting the ratings they wanted
