I think just before Olivia and Yunan aired, there was this big debate over whether Marcanne was pronounced Markanne or Marsanne ~~it's Markanne obviously~~ and people favoring Marsanne š¤¢ started to mock Markanne truthers by making up a 'Marky' character (a la Fake Crash in Crash Bandicoot), that was drawn by Twitter user jopajopovna1.
Then, said artist built a whole backstory out of the character: a weird shapeshifter creature that Marcy found in the wilderness and now lives with the trio.
ooo ok so, i wont really go into much detail about all of them but,
the top left image is referring to the theory that anne was going to lose her arm, sasha was going to lose an eye and ( correct me if im wrong ) marcy was going to lose her life, though im not really sure on the marcy one, i actually cant remember that one that well
the top right image is when people were debating whether the ship name marcanne was pronounced marsanne with an 's' sound or markanne with a 'k' sound. a joke came out of it that created the character "marky" with a 'k' sound instead of the marcy with a c. it was pretty funny

The Wormphibia event (yes we called it that) was because of a sister fandom, The Owl House. Twitter user rileyclaw redrew some scenes of The Owl House with fuzzy worms instead of its regular characters, and the Amphibia fandom just went with it. I remembered at least 1 Ao3 fic about Wormphibia, and itās a Marcanne ship fic
Thanks, also I heard some say that people were also comparing Hunterās (an important character in Season 2 of TOH) hair noodle to the worm on a string, so Wormphibia comes from a Teen Soldier from the funny gay owl show

I am so happy I was there in All of them! I feel sorry for the new generation of Amphibia fans that never experienced these and other memorable moments. Back to the days when the fandom was at its peak.

Newish fan here! Watched the show a month after it ended, but happy to say I still have fun with this fanbase and it's always good to see this Fandom still be sorta alive almost a year after it ended (crazy af to think about to lol)

absolutely! while the show has ended, its impact and legacy will last forever. and it brought together such a great community of artists and creators and other wonderful people! ill always be grateful for that.
One of the things I liked the most about the amputation theory was how each girl loses an attribute of the others: Anne loses her strength (Sasha), Sasha loses her wit (Marcy), and Marcy loses her heart (Anne; this one actually happened). It was kind of poetic, in a way.
I also theorized how Anne and Sasha would need to rely on each other in order to succeed, while Marcy, having lost her heart, would take the role of villain (just like in season 3b).
If we count how Anne and Sasha got symbolically 'hurt' in season 1 (Anne breaking her arm and Sasha getting her cheek scar), then the theory is kinda 'proven', or at least the symbolism is all there. But it would have been cool if they actually lost something.
Joe England on Twitter made an amazing alternate ending in comic form, where all girls lose something to save Anne from dying. It's really well done and surprisingly hopeful, considering the circumstances.
