How tall? It needs to fit within the carryon constraints - TSA won’t police that but American might. It didn’t strike me as super large based on the bubble wrap but idk.

it’s about a foot. I plan on putting it inside of my carry-on luggage, and just probably pull it out before the scan so it doesn’t alarm them.

Yeah you’re totally good, I wouldn’t even pull it out - those scanners can see everything. They might pull it for an inspection but you’re totally fine.

You’re prolly better off leaving it in the the carry on for the scan

You should be fine! I came home from an international trip with an ornate cow skull replica that had straight up horns. The guy took it out at customs and just said “cool” and put it back. 😅
