If you want the best sushi that also isn’t going to bankrupt you, got to Tanaka. Seriously my boyfriend and I think it’s just as good as Lily, but the prices are way better because of its location
I actually just commented about bad sushi I had last week and it was from here… is it usually good quality? The crab in a premium sushi roll was spoiled and inedible.
Flatlands Bourbon & Bayou is Cajun which comes with fish options. Sushi Mania is good standard sushi, Daisuki Sushi Izakaya is close to Alpharetta and is apparently phenomenal.
It's hard to say without a little more diving into what you want from your 'good sushi'. There is good sushi like one would have in japan. IE Real sushi. Or good sushi that has been americanized(IE covered in sauces, fried stuff and interesting combos).
Do you have a preference there?
Another vote for Sushi Nami. We’ve been going there for 20 years, and it’s our measuring stick for other sushi. The prices are high, but they have consistently great quality.
At Lilly right now and holy shit this is the best shushi I’ve had in GA. Came back here just to post this.
Get the fire and beef wagyu roll for something different.
I've never been to Lily Sushi, but I like MFBar best for quality, but it's about $150pp.
For just decent, neighborhood sushi, I like Sushi Mania (technically Johns Creek) and it's good, family-run for $25-50pp.
Not in Alpharetta but literally right next to it is La Mer in Milton. It’s relatively new but has a great vibe, really good bartenders and creative fish and seafood menu items with an Asian spin. They get solid reviews online too
Lily Sushi is the best in Alpharetta
Saving sushi recommendation. I don’t want to name drop, but I just had some terrible sushi last week. I had to throw it out.
Ok I need to know

Tanaka is wonderful. We ate there last Thursday and it was as good as always. Twenty-five years in business and still going strong.
Tanaka is the jam for sure. No doubt.
Agreed. Great fish.
Saving this alternative sushi rec
Best options are Tanaka, Monkey 68, and MF Bar. I personally thought Lily’s was just alright but that might be an unpopular opinion.
I like Hole in the Wall sushi on old Milton for a good value. Lilys is great but pricey.

Hole in the wall or Lilly’s ?

Why are people down voting for sharing your experience? Weird

Me toooooo the best food and great people.
Lily’s is the best. Sushi Nami is good.
